    Первое что нужно уяснить, это аркада, имеющая общее с прошлыми частями только название. Аркадные гонки должны развлекать. Что имеем?

    Плюсы: ● режимы онлайна; ● звуки автомобилей. Минусы ● даунгрейд графики, так еще не отключаемое мыло; ● гоночные трассы (при этом у нас нет питстопа и износа шин), вместо красивых живописных заездов; ● очень скучные AI боты; ● физика автомобилей;    Первое что нужно уяснить, это аркада, имеющая общее с прошлыми частями только название.     ● нет зеркала заднего вида?;
    ● нет регулировки управления для геймпада, за счет чего мне в ПК2 и то управление казалось удобнее;
    ● ужасный интерфейс как меню, так и во время гонки;
    ● песенные композиции только в меню игры, в самой гонка однотонная электронная музыка;
    ● вопросы к оптимизации, хоть у меня (4790K+GTX1070) стабильно 110 FPS, то у друга на AMD: "в ночних гонках зависає";
    ● нельзя вместе с другом заходить в один быстрый заезд;
    ● нет отображения результатов заезда твоих друзей;
    ● нет возможности создать турнирные заезды;
    ● дикий дисбаланс по автомобилям в мультиплеере;
    ● в гонках на время читеры ставят нереальные результаты;
    ● динамическая погода очень странно работает, дождь только начинается, вся трасса уже мокрая и с лужами;
    ● цена.

    В общем чуда не произошло, я ждал именно хорошую аркаду, а в итоге получил недоаркаду с хвостом симулятора. Симуляторы заняли: GTS, ACC и iRacing, аркады: Forza Horizon 4, NFS. Но рыбку съесть, и нахй сесть стало непосильной задачей для Slightly Mad Studios.

    ИТОГ: Брать на распродаже по очень хорошей скиде, сейчас своих денег она не стоит.    … Expand

    As a person who doesn't own a wheel and play with controller, I find this game to be so much fun.
    It is more arcade than sim, just be clear.

    Awesome game. It's just not a successor to Project Cars 2. Had a lot of fun with it. It's a very fun simcade game. The only thing wrong with it is it's name and marketing behind it. But as a game is quite fun, it's just not a sim.

    shame on Slightly Mad Studios this game is a spank on all fans face, and kick starter supporters, the game is garbage now with the worst company in simracing CODEMASTERS for me now is worst than EA because of the ton of bad games they have done since grid 2 no cokpit lazy developers that brand is out of a good gaming sims and now they have destroyed a really good game.

    It's a bit of a tragedy. i never thought the pCARS games were good games, but at least they were mediocre sims. pCARS 3 is a MUCH better GAME than its predecessors, the career is much better and it's much more fun to play with a controller now, which was almost unplayable before.

    It's a lot of fun to finally be able to enjoy those great tracks, that have always existed, in a more arcade like racer, but it defies my understanding why they didn't call it Shift 3 instead, as that is basically what this game is.

    The game is nothing like the first two games, which seems like suicide from the marketing perspective, as it's clear as sauce this will greatly anger the long time fans and probably be overlooked by the more casual racers, who like Forza Horizon or GRiD, cause that's where this game is aimed at now.

    From a GAMER'S perspective I have WAY MORE fun with this game, than with the other two games though, UNTIL......

    Yeah, until one discovers, that the progression in this game feels very level-gated, which gives the whole game the feeling of a mobile game, which is somehow underlined by the truly lacklustre presentation, which looks clearly worse than on pCARS2, all while not really performing better.

    The VR mode atm is broken and unplayable for me, as it unexplicably jitters along from time to time.

    Sorry SMS, your last two games already released broken and unfinished but were never fixed. Please do better this time.

    As a verdict: I don't understand who this game is for. This would be a good game without the mobile progression, which simply reeks like GaaS and monetisation.

    I'd give it an 8, if it wasn't for that, but as it is I can't give more than a 6 right now.    … Expand

Codemasters abuse slightly mad studios for their mainstream punk. they formed a sim-race game to a arcade-race game. they use the title to got a better reach and attention. they are lying to the community and told them that the changes came from user feedback. this is the end of project cars. this is game over.… Expand

    Project Cars 2 fans STAY AWAY! This is not the game you are looking for. I don't know what the developers were thinking... Low graphics on the highest settings, super easy, VR gives motion sickness, and AI is dumb!

    PC3 is a solid game...
    The handling feels a bit weird at the start but when I got used to it a few races down the road it got easier....
    It has some nice cars but it lacks a lot of production cars.... From BMW, I did not expect to see older models that are race only... It takes a lot of grinding to get more cars, specially because you don`t get money after completing every event, but    PC3 is a solid game...

    It takes a lot of grinding to get more cars, specially because you don`t get money after completing every event, but when you reach an EXP goal...
    A lot of timed events have some terrible goals that are hard to achieve...
    No matter how fast I am, I don`t get all of them...
    Then, the worst thing about the game, the penalty system...
    For being pushed of track or simply just touching a wall, my lap time gets invalidated !
    That is the most stupid thing I have ever seen...
    I am glad that the game has the progression at has but it feels too grindy...
    I don`t want to be able to get a car every other event but I don`t want to not buy one I want either just because a championship requires a specific car to buy...
    The game overall is solid, there are those issues that irritate me but I must say that I like it a whole lot more than the previous 2

    GAMEPLAY: [I kept the other categories short as this is where my rant begins] I was up for any racing. And the handling was accessible and was liking the driving. But the problem lies in the progression. The one who designed this is a pure A**HOLE. You see the game doesnt give ingame currency for winning races, but rather if you level up a track or level up yourself. WHICH IS TEDIOUS! The major problem is that every subsequent event asks you to have a "car that was released between 2015 and 2019 belonging to a specific country". WHICH MEANS YOU NEVER HAVE THE REQUIRED CARS. The game asks you to buy the cars for the event, only problem is that you never have the credits to buy it. Say you grind for 4 hours to get credits, you compete in like 2 events if your lucky , because the game will ask you to buy another car for the next event. RIDICULOUS!
    There is an event called pace setter, which requires you to lap a track 3 times and the average time is taken into account. Yeah sounds interesting, only thing is that the game invalidates your lap even if you slightly graze a wall or go an inch off track. [which is a failed event but the game tells you after you complete 3 laps]. The target times are also ridiculous. The only way to even try for it is to attempt big risks, but you cant afford risks because the game will invalidate your lap and fail the event!! STUPIDEST DESIGN IN A GAME!
    Now lets talk about the AI ;seems like the opponents don't have gears, they have only one gear and they accelerate without breaks. Well i had to turn on every assist and lower the difficulty to the least to even win the event on indianapolis speedway. Because the opponents accelerate indefinitely without changing gears!! Also the criteria is to get a lap time of 52 seconds. While the fastest lap was 1 min !!!! GAME WAS PURELY MADE SO THAT YOU DONT GET TO PLAY THE GAME!! Uninstalled after 16 hours of wasting my time.! Pure garbage! 3/10
    FUN FACTOR: Its more frustrating than fun! 2/10
    PERFORMANCE: Not so great . The frame rate tanks when the weather changes to rain. 4/10

    OVERALL: SKIP this GAME! The progression is god awful. 4/10    … Expand

    Slightly Mad Studios 1-->2-->Banana They have made a game, not only for a whole different audience than the previous two versions, but even when you put it into that category, it still is worse than competing titles that are half a decade older. Honestly, Forza 7 or GT Sport are better versions of what SMS is trying to do, both gameplay wise and graphic wise.    Everybody else 1-->2-->3

    Compared to PCARS and PCARS 2, this is a big step back and shouldn't in any way be considered to be a game of the same series. This is a poor, arcade racer, that doesn't really know what it wants to be - ending up being good at nothing.

    For those looking for a true sequel then Project Cars 3 probably isn't for you. If you want a good simcade experience which gives you a good career mode plus motivation for progression (xp and in game currency to buy better cars) then you'll really enjoy this one. The track roster is fantastic and the car selection is a good combination of road and track cars.     We've seen a lot of racing games lately that focus purely on track cars so it is nice to have a good PC racing game with a bunch of well modelled road cars in them. There is decent VR support out of the box, though some further optimisation would be welcome. The approachable multiplayer is decent too, as is the rivals mode. I think despite the change in direction this is a really fun and accessible driving / racing game.    … Expand

    The engine sound inside the cockpit is muffled so much on some cars that you think the engine is blown, engine sound in PC1 and PC2 are way better. handling are ok, better FBB than PC2 but that is it.

    SMS might have started on a PC3 simulator, but found out they could not finish it, codemasters buy SMS and they threw inn the code they had from grid and used the track and cars from PC2 a bad copy paste and called it PC3.
    I think Codemasters are going to shut down the project cars franchise. or they are going to make their own race track simulator based on Project cars at some time beside F1 and Dirt series who knows!. or they have aimed at the console players who use handcontrollers.

    if you like Forza or Grid stick with those,I think they are way better games than what this garbage is.
    At this state now it feels like its early beta version.
    I can not recommend this game, hopefully there will be a massive update so the graphics and sound etc etc. etc. ETC. become better. as of now the game just sucks.    … Expand

    - Tyre degradation is gone.
    - Fuel consumption is gone.
    - Pit lanes are always closed because you can no longer pit.
    - The race weekend has been completely erased.
    - There are no practice sessions.
    - There are no qualify sessions.
    - The default race consists of 2 laps with the player starting form the bottom of the grid.
    - There is no offline single player customisable season, a feature that players requested already for Project Cars 2 and the Devs responded they would implement it in the sequel (i.e. PC3, this game)..in other words, they lied.
    - Cars are no longer realistic, instead they have a bunch of stats like a character of an RPG.
    - The weather system is joke but it doesn't even matter considering how the tyres magically automatically adapt.

    Then you have a list of things that haven't improved at all and some of them even took a step back.
    - The damage of the car isn't realistic.
    - The AI is dumber, keeps ramming you, doesn't change gears and receive magic speed boosters that go beyond the capacity of the car.
    - The graphics, compared to other recent titles, is much worse.
    - Car customisation is a joke and works only on certain models, so for instance if you buy a new body-kit for some the car, nothing visually changes.
    - The UI used to be elegant and cool, now it makes the game look like a cheap mobile game for kids, with over saturated colours.
    - There isn't a minimap, instead along the tracks the are a bunch of annoying invasive mobile game floating icons that tells you what to expect next.
    And the list goes on..

    The hilarious thing is that they still try to sell this pile of trash as a next gen sim game..this is offensive..offensive and pathetic.    … Expand

    I mean, it's project cars we're talking about but I guess, even slightly mad can fak up sometime I guess. Well, thankfully I returned the game and got a money-back card for a future game. Not    Yeah, so, got the game recently hoping for a sim and what I got is not sim at all. Me being a sim Racer I was expecting a game that finally tops assetto corsa but I should have read reviews first.

    Not gonna give a score 0 because there was some work put into it but me, hating arcade racing couldn't cope with this game. Just no for me and every arcade racing for me gets an immediate low score unless it's a harding game that has a campaign that lets you buy cars, has cars on sale, second hand cars. Oil change, cleaning like real life before a race but nah. Here you just jump into a car that you don't know who gave it to you and you race and voila.
    So lame and so out of touch can a developer be to give us something like this, it's just a copy paste of the same genre as forza.

    This is a rushed unfinished product with yesteryear graphics but with a high FPS cost at max settings which brings me to my next point, you can get rid of the jaggies by using Supersampling at the cost of playing at 40 FPS or less depending on your card during bad weather....

    Lower end cards will struggle when the weather system comes into play, you could simply turn the graphic settings down but as the game looks last gen already you will be playing an uglier version of an ugly game.    … Expand

Rinse and repeat til you reach the pinnacle of in-game motorsport. Or til you get bored, which is the most    Project Cars 3 is a huge letdown.

    The game's structure is nothing new or inspiring: you start with enough money to purchase a lowly road car, you work your way through some tiered racing series, you earn money and XP points, you purchase new cars, unlock new series and tiers... Rinse and repeat til you reach the pinnacle of in-game motorsport. Or til you get bored, which is the most likely scenario within a few days of playing.

    Unfortunately driving PC3 is not fun. For starters, the TEDIOUS "start around the back of the grid" cliché, which conflicts with some of the arbitrary "goals" the games gives you to get extra money/XP. So winning isn't enough, you must do so by also fulfilling some random criteria that can make your races extra boring or frustrating. You won by 20 seconds? Sorry, didn't pass 10 cars in 1 minute or didn't draft a car for 30 secs. No bonus for you.

    Car upgrades are limited to your car class (so you can't turn a Honda Civic into a monster and annihilate your opponents) but the effect on the car performances are minimal. Driving around is unrewarding and dull. On dry tracks, the car feels sluggish and heavy, on wet tracks it's like handling a fish wearing soapy gloves.
    AI is all over the place, rubber-banding a lot and beingeither useless or unbeatable.

    The car selection is decent, but nothing spectacular, and so are the tracks, with an abundance of narrow "club racing" tracks that make those "win from the back" races feel like trying to drive around a big city at rush hour. Or like a being on a bumper-car as collisions are inevitable.

    Regardless of all that, the PC3 is simply inconsistent and not really engaging. A missed opportunity.    … Expand

    Creo que ponerle mas que esto seria un regalo, es horrible con todas las letras, no lo recomiendo para nada, antes que este si esperan poco realismo vayan por el Forza Horizon 4, es un millon de veces mejor, y si esperan aunque sea un poco de realismo, ni piensen en este juego, pasen de largo, es una porquería

    Desde el primer vistazo a su estética, mecánicas y jugabilidad me recuerda mucho un NFS, no creo que sea la sensación de juego en la categoría de simulación. Es cierto que para usuarios nuevos es un avance muy bueno, pero peca en casi todos los sentidos, historia mediocre, jugabilidad idéntica a la anterior y gráficos de inicio de generación. Es una lástima que un juego tan querido cambieDesde el primer vistazo a su estética, mecánicas y jugabilidad me recuerda mucho un NFS, no creo que sea la sensación de juego en la categoría de simulación. Es cierto que para usuarios nuevos es un avance muy bueno, pero peca en casi todos los sentidos, historia mediocre, jugabilidad idéntica a la anterior y gráficos de inicio de generación. So is the same stupid people who felt burnt fo a third time. lol. And it´s very important to mention that I game on xbox controller. Keyboards are for cheap losers. So I cannot say exactly if this is hurting these cheaps rats anyway and they felt previous releases more friendly. I also heard that it isn´t so good for racing wheels. I cannot said that this is true at all or partially. I only can say that I don´t have that racing wheels and pedals and that bunch of crap. There´s not all that much of racing games today to consider them on buying that stuff. In conclusion is a good game but if you are new into the series. The main proof to said that previous series were unsuccesful is that previous designers were fired practically, and the news devs go for a more arcade experience just to fix the mess.    … Expand

    So I generally distaste people rating games with zeroes because no game can really be that bad. But in this case I have to agree. This game could possible be the worst racing game of this generation. It tries to be a Foza game but fails on every front.

But in this case I have to agree. This game could possible be the worst racing game of this generation. It tries to be a Foza game but fails on every front.

    The visuals are mediocre with a really crappy lighting system. Sometimes it looks like a PS3 game and during certain lighting conditions the cars looks to be made out of plastic.

    The AI is broken, isn't affected by weather conditions and drives like trains on rails even on snow. Even on easy/medium they are sometimes impossible to beat, so please explain how one is supposed to beat them at hard, pro, legendary... well it's impossible.

    The worst thing in the game is the broken career mode. It's been balanced by some useless rookie tool of a trash designer with no sense of balancing whatsoever. The objectives where you have to make a lap or laps within a time limit require nano second precision to even score a bronze, and the worst part is that you have to beat this **** in order to progress. I seriously hope the useless tool who balanced this gets fired and banned from the gaming industry.

    I have no idea from where they had the courage to call this game "Project Cars 3" it has nothing to do with his predecessors, this is like making Red Dead with a name GTA.
    The cars don't feel "cars", the engine sounds are like vacuum cleaner, the graphics is is like in 2012. This is even worse sequel than Flatout 3 to 2 and 1.

    The first Project CARS game designed not only for hardcore simulation fans, but also for more casual racing enthusiasts, was supposed to be love at first sight. Well, it wasn’t. It does boast one of the most enjoyable driving models you can come across nowadays, but it’s not enough.
