Nov 11, 2025Possessor(s) betrays Heart Machine's experience with amateurish flaws, ranging from unpleasant controls to a very unremarkable metroidvania level structure. Ultimately feels like a first draft with good intentions and absolutely stellar artworks interspersed throughout.

Nov 26, 2025Possessor(s) blends a brutally striking atmosphere with fighting-game precision, delivering a metroidvania that’s as aggressive as it is elegant. Its exquisite movement and singular visual style make it an intense and unforgettable experience. [Recommended]

Nov 11, 2025Though there’s plenty to gawk at while scouring its Metroidvania labyrinth, Possessor(s) just misses out on the joy of getting lost, turning its world into a maze with no clear way out.

Nov 17, 2025Possessor(s) didn’t possess me in the way that I expected it might. Based on my initial impressions, the game seemed cooked in a lab to appeal to my exact tastes. I just needed to have some patience. The game culminated in a final level that really put my skills to the test and a striking battlefield for the final boss. As I watched the credits roll, I realized it had all finally evoked some of those feelings I had watching the game’s first trailer.
