    I want to like this game. I can't. I log in and die due to lag and more lag and more lag. No other game I play has lag online like this at all. Unplayable. Then I also hate the circle that gets smaller. It happens too fast and it's impossible to find a decent weapon before being killed. I don't see why people like this game at all? It really sucks. I would rather play Day Z or TeamI want to like this game. I can't. I log in and die due to lag and more lag and more lag. No other game I play has lag online like this at all. Unplayable.     Game is very fun, honestly the most fun I had in a shooter game, it did the battleroyale genre right, I used to play all older battleroyale games/mods like Arma2 DayZ mod or Arma 3 Battleroyale. PlayerUnknown improved the genre over the years and he almost perfected it with PUBG.

While this game certainly has its fair share of issues, it is literally impossible for this game to be as bad as some users are claiming it to be while enjoying the popularity that it does. Otherwise, why would it be so popular? (As I write this review, the game currently has nearly one million players online.) This game delivers a unique gameplay experience that will never truly be copied, only emulated (e.g. H1Z1, and the new PvP multiplayer in Fortnite). It successfully captures an old concept, the Battle Royale, and translates it into a digestible and rewarding videogame formula. However all of its notoriety and potential for fun does not excuse the fact that this game is laden with bugs and poor optimization. These issues can mostly be traced to the game's origin as a mod for ARMA 3. If you are willing to overlook some laziness on the part of the developers, then you will often be rewarded with an addicting, engaging and memorable gameplay experience. Frustration with the aforementioned issues is understandable and should be anticipated. Your gameplay experience will certainly be mixed (some matches are just going to be crap), but the issues are not always game-ruining.… Expand

    Awfully broken game. Don't trust the critics. Game critics obviously have a sponsorship with them. They are too scared to say anything real. Don't buy this piece of **** game.

    PUBG only became so successful because of clever marketing and luck. "It's so much fun with friends!", yeah well i could think of a lot of other games that are fun with friends too. The difference is that most of your friends have already bought the game because of the hype and the twitch sellouts marketing it.

Too bad the greedy c*nt developers are too busy swimming in money to bother fixing any of these problems. It's absurd how such an unpolished, low-effort, shallow product costs 30 bucks with micro-transactions on top.
    Even if these things were fixed, the core gameplay is just so tedious. You spend 15 minutes searching for items and then 80% of the time you get shot by someone you couldn't see or avoid because you had to rush to the white circle. Actually winning the game is 20% skill and 80% luck. If the other players have better equipment than you and got to a better position then you're just screwed.

    It's a pretty fun game made more fun when playing with friends. There are still bugs a plenty, but most are either hilarious (flying cars) or moderately rare(getting stuck in objects). I'm not forgiving the devs for this, no. If they are going to come out of early access, I think they should have worked to iron out the bugs a bit more. However, this game has a lot of potential, and what isIt's a pretty fun game made more fun when playing with friends.     Not sure what the 'critics' are smoking so I thought I'd write a quick review. It's a simple but great premise that's executed fairly poorly. For one it's too buggy, un-optimised and laggy. The shooting gameplay is decent but the movement is pretty sluggish. The map design is pretty good in all fairness and results in a good range of scenarios. No memorable music imo. I also think most of the models were bought from a store so while it's completely legal, the artistic design of the game is pretty uninspired/non-existent.

    Ultimately, the game is fun but a little frustrating. Buy it if you can't wait to try the concept of the game but I'm certain other games based on the same concept will pop up soon and will likely be better made. You should also know the devs seem to be a bit shady when it comes to copyright law and seem to think they can own the concept of the game. Not the worst thing a dev company has done but you may want to look into it.

    I am biased because of how long I've played the game for but there are many people who try to discredit the quality and fun of the game. I advise you to take the negative reviews with a grain of salt as they are a poor representation of the game from a very vocal minority of the player base.     Let's see… after reading the negative reviews I think that many people are basing their reviews on the beta version, which is unfair, they were warned that it was a early access game, and still act like little children who yell at their parents when they can’t get a pistachio ice cream at McDonalds.     -Pros:
    The game itself is really good, the shooting mechanics are quite realistic and the learning curve is quite steep, this usually annoys casual gamers and kiddies (the cancer of the gaming industry if you ask me - just look at BF1), as well it is a game that it’s not all action, there is time when you have to be patient and just wait around, but for me this is great, because it builds up expectation and when there is a fight after the long wait, well it is just great, it reminds me a little bit of poker.

    There is a lot of strategy involved, the game rewards patience and proper aggressiveness, and when playing in duos or squad, good communication and coordinated attacks result in winning firefights, I just love that. If you play rambo, while solo or with friends you are guaranteed to loose.

    When I started playing, with a GTX 1070, I saw FPS at 40-50, now it stands at 100+, there has been improvement, but there is still room for more. The graphics are good, not amazing, but with a map this big, and sometimes firefights of up to 500m, higher textures would need very powerful rigs. And believe me, the gameplay really compensates.

    Lastly, since I began playing (6 months now), by selling all of the loot crates, I have paid for the game price and even made a profit

    -Cons:
    As of now, there are quite a few cheaters, which if not addressed, would bring this game to its knees, but I am confident that they will find a way. With the new implementation of the kill cam, I have seen a reduction of these little coward basterds.

    Optimization has still a long run to go, so if the devs, as we say in Spanish: “no se ponen vergas”, the game could suffer from it, although there have been good improvements.

    It’s not a game for everyone, but I love that the devs took a chance and made something different than the EA crap found on the kiddie gaming market

    It i fun? Yeah! But bugged, badly optimized, and just have 2 **** maps.. How can you compare this with a game full game? This is a beta version of something that coud be geat, but is just still missing ALOT.

    Buggy unoptimized mess. Fun with friends but gets annoying really fast when you can't pick up the gun from the ground or open doors. 30€ from this? No thanks, it feels ike a mod to some other game.

    Después de 406 horas jugadas, me banean el juego por la cara, no me dicen el porque y se tiran la pelota unos a otros, y el juego a cambio lleno de tramposos, mientras a uno lo banean porque sí y ya está.     okay so my review is based upon another mans review whom said that pubg was tactical gameplay. my foughts are that it is not a good game with little to no anything to do... i see no daily quests or even story quests to complete and only guys killing guys no girls haha xd

    Having played this game since early on in the early access i would recommend this game it lacks the polish of some aaa titles but it stands alone with its gameplay and enjoyment a+

    Devs cashed in before the word could get out...This game is trash do not waste your money on it. Supposedly out of early access yet still full of lag, desync, glitches, bugs, and oh man do they have a ton of cheaters, but don't worry they don't acknowledge the cheaters so they don't have to fix it. Hasn't made much progress from the Arma mod days if you take away the slight graphics upgrade.

    After Overwatch got boring for me last year, I'm lucky to have found PUBG. It's become not just a game but a culture for me and my friends. Absolutely fantastic.

    Great and very addictive game. The best multiplayer shooting game this year. You can fully enjoy a realistic battle royale. Surviving on a huge map among a hundred enemies won't let you stop playing this game.

    Although this game still have bad optimization and server lag issues, It's getting better at every patch and even some bugs make my gameplay experience so fun.

    The concept of this game has taken the fun parts of DayZ (looting and killing each other) stripped the boring parts (zombies and Running Simulator 2015) and replaced them with more players in every match and a real representation of a timer in the starting cargo plane that every player starts and leaps from as well as the ever present, closing Circle of Death (non canon name).

    PUBG has its issues and that's why it's not getting a perfect score from me. The "lag" or "desync" issues are still fairly common and as of Release Day minus 1 day, the game still suffered from plenty of lag spiking and stuttering, regardless of hardware setup (my group has a guy playing on a 760M i7 laptop all the way up to a 1080ti, OC'd i7 desktop and all experience the same issues in one way or another). However, MOST of the time the issues that do arise are small enough to ignore. Sometimes you'll get perfectly clean games --from your eyes anyway ;) And sometimes you'll get games you just end up quitting because you ran into a building and up a flight of stairs and then were rubberbanded back to the first floor and are now running into a wall/getting shot by an enemy.

    When the game is working, it is easily the most fun game to have hit the market this year. Sure there were plenty of great stories released, pretty much all from Nintendo, but this game and a group of friends or three has so much replay value and so much competitive nature built into it that you can keep going for a long time. Just keep releasing new maps and stuff while you fix things in the background, Bluehole and you'll have plenty of life out of this little experiment!

    TL;DR, There are more broken AAA games released every year that are less fun than PUBG. Ridiculously entertaining and good at what it does.    … Expand

    Well, the game concept is interesting and fresh. Optimization is poor and terrible! Developers are greedy and tricky. Hype is monstrous. I think this game deserves 6-6.5 in it's current state. But I want to balance pre-payed "official" reviews with zero and to slow down a hype-train. Maybe Ill change my mind later if the game become better optimized and polished.

    Le jeu en lui même est bien, mais malheureusement la version Xbox One est vraiment à la ramasse.

    C'est vraiment une hone de sortir un jeu en cet état.

    And finally. Back in the days of Counter-Strike, there were regimes of the royal battle. But they did not succeed because of the small maps. Back in 2000 there were films about the royal battle. So Brendan did not come up with a new genre. He just adapted it in the game sphere.    … Expand

    The whole madness around PUBG is well-deserved. This is the best possible praise for this great battle-royale-genre shooter. What a pity there are so many bugs, mad vehicle physics and occasional cheaters, but it bothers you only for a while. When you frantically get into the hectic, slightly frightening struggle for life and death you’ll forget anything else.
