    There is no way this game gets a 10. It is super buggy with rampant rubber-banding and desync. There are a lot of cheaters, which Brendan Greene talked about on the H3H3 podcast yesterday. Plus the current ranking system favors super boring camping style.

    The entertainment value on Twitch is impressive, and I watch Dr. Disrespect and Viss play daily (RIP Slick Daddy Club for now    There is no way this game gets a 10.     Not sure what the 'critics' are smoking so I thought I'd write a quick review. It's a simple but great premise that's executed fairly poorly. For one it's too buggy, un-optimised and laggy. The shooting gameplay is decent but the movement is pretty sluggish. The map design is pretty good in all fairness and results in a good range of scenarios. No memorable music imo. I also think most of the models were bought from a store so while it's completely legal, the artistic design of the game is pretty uninspired/non-existent.

    Ultimately, the game is fun but a little frustrating. Buy it if you can't wait to try the concept of the game but I'm certain other games based on the same concept will pop up soon and will likely be better made. You should also know the devs seem to be a bit shady when it comes to copyright law and seem to think they can own the concept of the game. Not the worst thing a dev company has done but you may want to look into it.

    Unacceptable amount of bugs and lack of optimization for such a big title. While hardly being an original game, the only thing that could've brought and maintain this game at the top is the attention from the streamers.

    Played this game for few hours - not for me :) too many flaws and technical issues this game has.
    Good premise but not so well in the end.

    I mean the game itself isn't too bad, but i just cant have fun in it anymore. The gameplay looks like:
    -Join game
    -Go loot something
    -Go loot more
    -Get shot from a guy in a bush or a hacker
    -Repeat

    It feels like now only the most determined players remained in this game and if you are a new player then you will have very hard time trying to do something... or maybe im just so bad at it

    i must say , clearly the most of website Reviewers are not gamers , its not really deserves a 8/9/10 score , this is a good shooting game and of course its really fun with friends , but the poor optimization and a big amount of bugs and server lags and a lot of cheaters, i mean what are they doing with all that money , i hope they do something about these problems.

    The game has gotten significantly better over the course of a year. The maps are still good, the graphics are improved and smoother, and they seem to have fixed the problems with American servers being filled with chinese players. And lastly, there doesn't really seem to be any ranking or sorting to keep you from getting matched with players in your squad who are just going to immediately suicide.     For a while I had a blast with PUBG, but after the first 5 hours it started to feel repetitive and kind of stale.

    During the release of this game was a great hype and everyone played it, but now that hype over - number of players falls and the game dying at a high pace. The main disadvantages of the game are ban trade and "awesome" optimization.

Gameplay is really just the explanation of a Battle Royale game, there is 100 players, you land on an island where you find weaponsJust to know for everyone, when I was buying the game I was hyped for it.     Playerunknown's Battlegrounds may not be the first Battle Royale game, but it clearly revolutionised the genre. But that may be so, PUBG, even in its version 1.0, is still a game with numerous technical disasters and obvious lack of design and creativity.

    This game plays like a jagged and buggy mess. It clearly isn't optimized and the progression system is loot box based and absolutely non-existant. I could see some people getting into this due to the innovative and addicting concept of Battle Royale. However, the stiffness and rigid gameplay is a no from me dog.

    1. Pistol is glitched so in some games you are basically dead cause you can't equip pistol.
    2. Fire fights last 2 seconds and the longer you survive the more you get points in all honestly it better just to die and get to next game fast.

Blue circle which contracts is an idea but would be better executed by contracting zones by area (e.g if 30 players in one area blue circle contracts for those 30 players only while another zone with 20 player contracts this way the groups fight till there is 1 player or team in each area then the circle gets wider again for 5 minutes then recontracts at a central stage.
    10. They should use two sets of planes (set a and set b) (set a sets off along line x while set b sets off online y) - This would allow more players to potentially find each other and actually have mid range fights around cover , which doesn't happen in this.

    This game is not a shooting game its a RNG collecting game where you collect x loot and go wow i got this , this and this and then cry cause it taken away by 2-3 hits where you have no idea where it come from. Game badly needs indicators to at least give players a fair chance at actually shooting there gun.

    Good with others bad alone. It gets boring picking up loot to engage in no action what so ever cause someone else got a sniper rifle and a 4x scope and you got an uzi and no scopes.    … Expand

    Game idea is prefect , game play is good , the problem is on servers and bugs rollback , i hope you work on it , we spend about 30$ to buy the game + buy a new pc to play in good condition , i also hope you optimize the game to play with more fps . Thanks

    Don't believe the hype. It's a janky, messy game and I wish I'd bought it directly through Steam so I could refund it (which is what you should do if you want to try it).

    This game is OK. It feels and plays like a beta version. All of the assets appear to be from the unity store. The game is very poorly optimized and needs a decent bit of hardware to run well consistently.

    Much of the game play is avoiding other players which can be fun... if you ever run into any, the maps are WAY too large for how many people are on the map.

Today the group loads take longer to get to 100, you are mixed in with pros (so you die quickly), and it's full of cheaters. In short, not fun anymore. It was a thrill to face real people as deadly enemies, and satisfying to win a gunfight. Now you only face people who spendI bought this during early access while Pewds was playing.     Pros: Great realistic graphics and lightning. Great sound - gun shots, foot steps, etc. Also sometimes it's quite fun to play.
    Cons: Game is hardcore. Damage model is way too hard. It takes very little time to kill or to be killed. I think it's the main purpose why Fortnite became much more popular.
    I think they should add kind of an arcade mode to make the game less harder to master.

    While I love the idea, it's still missing many things like ballbanging or a proper use of netcode. Very annoying to be matched with people that their ping is 100+, makes it unplayable. While stability and general performance was improved a bit, it's still a long way to go through.

The developers have a **** ton of money to fix this, but no - it's better to uploud more skins and fortnite's season pass to make more and more money.     This game separate two types of gamers. A type of rich gamers, they have a high performance PC. And the rest of the gamers, who has a normal - low performance PC. In some game, that's what make difference between the winner and the losers.

    If you want to play comfortably you need really good computer with good GPU.
    optimization sucks. Seriously even good PC might fall below 60 fps. Also is not much content in game, so if you don't like basic game there is nothing else to do. Another con i see is randomness. It doesn't have to be con for you, but for me its a bit too random,    PUBG is a great game with few big cons.

If you're sick of team-based games and just want to chill with your rifle in a closet for twenty minutes this is for you. When you're down to 10/100 your heart can't help but beat faster. That being said, loot box rewards are underwhelming. However, you shouldn't need any external motivation to enjoy the thrillAn incredibly fun shooter with a concept that keeps you coming back for more.     The concept is great.
    The atmosphere is amazing.
    The gun play is good enough.
    The bugs are rampant.
    There are hackers.
    The server tick rate is abysmal.
    Players get an advantage by playing on the lowest settings, no grass to hide in...

    In the end i still enjoyed myself, but if you're like me, pick this up on sale and only if you have friends to play with.

    Sehr kompetetiv, jedoch von Bugs übersäht und in den teilweise riesigen Patches werden Sachen eingeführt die niemand braucht. Die Grafik ist toll sowie auch der generelle Druck der auf einem Spieler lastet da man nie weiß ob man sicher ist.

    Как и любую другую он-лайн игру, портят читеры. Здесь они полным ходом набирают обороты. Игра хорошая, графика, все мне нравится. Только анти чит работает отвратительно! Уже в наглую на ютуб видео с читами выкладывают.

    When this game does something right, it excels at it. The gameplay is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. The one thing this game lacks at is reward system. Repetive loot boxes are not good enough for me to keep playing.

While the adrenaline rush of the final circle and the pulse-pounding engagements you can get into either alone or with a squad are rewarding... there is much left to be desired. Frame-rate drops in shoot-outs can lead to your bullets equating to NERF darts while your enemy blows you away like Pacino's Tony Montana.It's still in early access for the XBONE, which is the platform I play on. Vehicles can hit small, invisible impediments that doom you and your entire crew if you're not careful... which you can't be, because the spots you'll run into are INVISIBLE. The gun selection is pretty solid; everyweapon has it's use, although melee tools hardly see any action unless you choose to drop into a hot zone, which I personally avoid. The network and "rubber-banding" lag are much better due to weekly patches, but it can still plague you at the most inopertune times, and the time it takes for structures, weapons and gear to load in after a drop can mean the difference between life and death.

    It's an addicting and rewarding game when you don't lag... but you will; that's the issue.    … Expand

    Ruggered, rough, frustrating, unoptimized that feeling of hope slowly diminishing after major and annoyingly obvious issues are still present each week. Another sad case of devs seem more concerned about quick $ than creating a true masterpeice that would naturally generate $$$ for along time. Get your A into G bluehole.

    Should not of left BETA. The PRE-CHRISTMAS cash grab for xbox was unsavoury, distasteful and disgusting!

    Not a whole lot of uniqueness around the map seemingly most of it is copy & paste especially Erangel so much unused and repetative buildings/spaces/environments.

    Not alot of arsenal/attachment options/diversity for wepons and especially armor.

    SKINS: Utilizes a gambling type system that feeds on losers, incredibly inappreciable chance of getting the unique skins while shoving colossal amounts of the same s**t into your inventory.

    Hopes night matches will not be broken. Attachable flashlights/laser designator to guns? Night vision in crates? (night vision goggles give off a green glow faintly seen by other players paying attention so they wouldnt be OP)

    Hopes campaign/story and zombie modes being refreshing and different.

    Not a bad game by any means, but the loot distribution is horrible and relies on luck when you first start a match. It has clunky controls that you'd see in a game like Arma 2 or DayZ that puts even seasoned gamers like myself through a loop.

    I hate the mobile version of the game, and I hate that it overshadowed PUBG steam, But overall PUBG is better than Fortnite, But None of em worth playing in 2020, Because COD WARZONE is free and based on a very advanced tech, Don't forget about Apex too

    Alright, so I've bought this game for 18$ (regional prices and all that), and by selling every lootcrate i get for three months, i got the whole price for the game back on my steam account. So I guess it is fun enough to keep me grinding for ingame coins to get lootcrates, and sometimes you die because of lag.

    To be honest i really dont like battle royal games, especially when its all up to chance. I mean, is it fair that you the "skilled" player get nothing but clothes and a fork while some other guy finds a tactical nuke in a god damn trash can? the answer should be clear for you.     The game has come a long way since it's early access release this past March. But a 1.0 release does not mean it's a completed product, which is why I'm taking off points. There are plenty of bugs, server issues, rubberbanding, etc that will keep this game from getting a perfect score. I hope those will be ironed out over time as we would hope for any game. But, in the mean time, I'm going to keep having a blast playing a game that has vastly improved since its launch.

    Playing with friends whether it's duos or teams adds a whole other layer to the game that has kept me entertained plenty a night. What it comes down to, for me, is if I'm having fun. I was having fun in March. I'm still having fun now.    … Expand

    There is no way this game gets a 10. It is super buggy with rampant rubber-banding and desync. There are a lot of cheaters, which Brendan Greene talked about on the H3H3 podcast yesterday. Plus the current ranking system favors super boring camping style

    The game itself is cool, but there is no approximate ranking system and this is sad. You just enter the game and play against lvl 500. I do not recommend the game just because of this, it is impossible to play.

    I think a User Score of 5 is very low, i understand the problems this game has, they are a lot....
    But this was by far the best Battle Royale we had after Season 3 H1Z1.
    The enviorment, the gameplay, the feeling of actually winning.... Amazing.
    Too bad this guys in blueballs didn't deciude to actually use the money they got from all of us, and invest it in their game.

    - Низкий онлайн, игра била рекорды онлайна но сейчас приходится иногда по 8 мин. в лобби торчать в ожидании игры.

    Из плюсов
    - оптимизация, не знаю у кого как, у меня средний ПК который вполне хорошо тянет игру на средне-высоких настройках.
    - внутриигровые события, проходят довольно часто, можно получить разные плюшки выполняя не сложные задания.

    Знаю что большинство игроков перешли в более перспективные батл-роял игры по типу Апекса, Варзоны, но мне как не любителю футуристики с плазмоганами, телекинезом и прочими наворотами, игра в целом зашла, но не заслуживает оценку выше 5.    … Expand

    While pubg isn't bad, it surely isn't great. I have enjoyed my time on pubg. Basic and buggy, just like most games these days. I am truly shocked how many people got sucked into pubg.. I will play it more, but it isn't great.

    It's an average game. Not bad but also not good to be honest. You played PUBG because it was the hot game in Steam and got pestered to join the Squad/Duo.
    The game has average graphics but runs like Crysis 1 on crack. Could be that the Developer slept on the Optimizing Performance part.
    Minus Points for spawning Fortnites success and EGS dividing the PC Platform over some **** free games.

    This is the best battle royal game right now on the market. Still has many issues and is not perfect at all. It has great gunplay and selection of weapons which feels good to play with. More importantly owning players and killing people feels really good and thats the most important thing.

The good thing in the beginning were cases where you could buy some of them in game and sell them on the market. I'm not sure how much I've made but it was probably close to the game price so I can say that practically the game has returned it's value to my steam wallet. Pretty nice thing. Unfortunately now there is no way like that. I remember that there was a case that was 1/4 of the game price. Fun times.… Expand

    The whole madness around PUBG is well-deserved. This is the best possible praise for this great battle-royale-genre shooter. What a pity there are so many bugs, mad vehicle physics and occasional cheaters, but it bothers you only for a while. When you frantically get into the hectic, slightly frightening struggle for life and death you’ll forget anything else.
