    As a CS player I like this as an adrenaline pumped clutch simulator - I've only played solo First Person mode, and really enjoyed the thrill it brings. But: you HAVE to play it as a SURVIVAL game, not a plain shooter, otherwise it will be boring. Do not jump to the most crowded places all the time, like some of the idiots shouting "Potchinki" at the beginning of the match. If you find a nice industrial hall somewhere, you might get good enough equipment to survive the last battles. Trying out different tactics is fun. Of course not all games are entertaining if a sniper kills you with a silenced headshot from 200 meters, but more than half of games are enjoyable.

    This game plays like a jagged and buggy mess. It clearly isn't optimized and the progression system is loot box based and absolutely non-existant. I could see some people getting into this due to the innovative and addicting concept of Battle Royale. However, the stiffness and rigid gameplay is a no from me dog.

    Not a bad game by any means, but the loot distribution is horrible and relies on luck when you first start a match. It has clunky controls that you'd see in a game like Arma 2 or DayZ that puts even seasoned gamers like myself through a loop.

    A game that looks nice on the surface until you realise that in at least 50% of games you will just die to some hacker who a. knows where you are b. can hit you with every single bullet and c. has no recoil. The game runs fine and I have no issue with lag at all. It's just worthless because its not at all fair.

    Honestly I don't know where to start. This game was a absolute masterpiece when it was released. I had so so much fun with it. After March of 2018 however that's when this game started to begin it's own inevitable death. With the combination of hackers and micro transactions to obtain more unique gear(thank god not weapons) made this game even more frustrating than before.     Basically a worse version of Fortnite, there's no reason you buy it to be sincerely honest.

    It has everything you hate about Fortnite (Including the fanbase) and more. If you buy it, you are a pigeon.

    Played the game since the first early access release on Steam - back during that times, me and many others would forget all the flaws the game had, the mediocre looks while also having very bad performance, terrible car physics, terrible buggy parachute, desync and million other small things that one would expect to be fixed in the upcoming months.

    I feel like the game is not gonna live for much longer as its being overshadowed by better alternatives like Fortnite and soon to be released Call of Duty Black Ops 4.    … Expand

    This game is one of the best FPS games. Its mobile version was launched just few days ago. There are some issues regarding hackers and cheaters in the game which needs to be resolved. Otherwise, the game is quite impressive.

Today the group loads take longer to get to 100, you are mixed in with pros (so you die quickly), and it's full of cheaters. In short, not fun anymore. It was a thrill to face real people as deadly enemies, and satisfying to win a gunfight. Now you only face people who spendI bought this during early access while Pewds was playing. Lots of camping in solo, body armor teir 2 and up doesn't even slow bullet damage at all, There is so much server lag it infuriates me, wished I never purchased the game. Its not worth its 30$ price tag. Getting a weapon on Miramar to doing anything half the time is a joke. If you can stand how the graphics look they have a tencent gaming buddy emulator that lets you play it on pc. Its a lot more fun, You can actually get competitive it.     It used to be a good game but not now. It's now full of micro transactions, servers are bad and I myself feel the lack of MMR. Also with 1070, sometimes the frame rate drops to 50. I do not recommend you to buy this game now. Maybe they fix it later.

    During the release of this game was a great hype and everyone played it, but now that hype over - number of players falls and the game dying at a high pace. The main disadvantages of the game are ban trade and "awesome" optimization.

It's quite fun to play in squad but only for a limited time. Eventually, it's starts to get boring. You get no rewards for playing this game, except loot crates and most of them requires a key to be opened so pretty much no rewards at all.     Should not of left BETA. The PRE-CHRISTMAS cash grab for xbox was unsavoury, distasteful and disgusting!

    Not a whole lot of uniqueness around the map seemingly most of it is copy & paste especially Erangel so much unused and repetative buildings/spaces/environments.

    Not alot of arsenal/attachment options/diversity for wepons and especially armor.

    SKINS: Utilizes a gambling type system that feeds on losers, incredibly inappreciable chance of getting the unique skins while shoving colossal amounts of the same s**t into your inventory.

    Would L0VE a HARDCORE FP mode, No UI, no player kill confirm/count/killfeed, increased bullet damage, stamina and magazine management.

    Pretty please make VSS spawn with either a PSO-1 scope (sniping) or a OKP-7 (CQB combat)

    Hopes night matches will not be broken. Attachable flashlights/laser designator to guns? Night vision in crates? (night vision goggles give off a green glow faintly seen by other players paying attention so they wouldnt be OP)

    Hopes campaign/story and zombie modes being refreshing and different.

    Я в первые 20 минут игры думал, а тот-ли PUBG я купил?!))) Или это какая-то другая альфа-версия, а нет, это игра в релизе...

    PUBG is one of the most addictive multiplayer games I've ever played, as well as extremely rewarding when you receive a chicken dinner in solo, with a partner, or with a whole squad. The game is extremely tactile in how you can play it, it's up to you. The game does look and sometimes play like an outdated game, hopefully we can get some graphical and performance boost in the future. Also,PUBG is one of the most addictive multiplayer games I've ever played, as well as extremely rewarding when you receive a chicken dinner in solo, with a partner, or with a whole squad.     Pubg es un juego que en sus inicios tenia bastantes bugs, y es comprensible ya que no se esperaba tal numero de jugadores. A mejorado bastante desde entonces, y de hecho a hecho famoso el genero BatleRoyale. Actualmente tiene tres mapas muy bien diferenciados entre ellos, con muchas armas y vehiculo.     Great concept, terribly executed. Blueballs studio is incompetent and money hungry. Terrible performace, unresponsive controls, game is slow, buggy and there are cheaters everywhere... from my experience 10 games from probably 1-3 are with cheaters. They recently added microtransactions and random crate drops so if u want to open your reward for playing you have like 50% chance that youGreat concept, terribly executed.     It's a shame. The game play for this game is exceptional. Great concept and executed quite well. It has a very steep learning curve. It is a shame that it was overshadowed by so many bugs and glitches and cheaters early on. I personally did not experience the cheaters when I started playing Jan 2018, so that may have been resolved. I did however have to deal with consistent crashing in myIt's a shame.     So at least the support staff was prompt and polite. As of posting this however, the problem is still occurring. Neither player unknown battleground or steam would refund the money which was unethical as it was a fully released game that was effectively unplayable.

    I might come back to the game once the bugs are fixed and will rerate at that time. End of the day the devs rushed a beta into production just to be front of the races for the battle royale craze and they did it on the backs of a lot of unsuspecting gamers who paid $40 for a nun functional game.    … Expand

    I can consider myself a video game veteran and have been playing shooters since the genre was invented. In no other game, I felt the same sense of excitement and achievement when I kill a player. The main reason for this is knowing the effort your opponent has wasted until the time of confrontation and the pleasure of sending that player back to menu screen after making the kill, plus getting all the loot. The weapons feel great and the game, despite a common false opinion that PUBG depends on luck, rewards skilled players who know how to use their weapons, observe their surroundings and pay attention to every sound. You are always on your toes while playing PUBG (to the extent that many players who play before going to bed are having PUBG dreams at night), which results in a very tense but satisfying game.

    Contrary to the experience many reviewers have, I haven’t come across many cheaters and in my opinion, PUBG has a much smaller problem of cheaters than CS: GO. On the other hand, it should be noted that I play on the North American servers most of the time, so other servers may indeed be different.

    Lags, bugs, glitches, cheaters in every single game, dated graphics, have no style, optimized worse than ARK:SE, very slow paced gameplay. Tbh, even H1Z1 is much better than this unfinished garbage.
    Only recommend if you want to make some cheap money on Steam, with bots you can run multiple accounts and grab around $40 per month, if lucky even more... Gl and Hf on Steam Market.

Vehicles can hit small, invisible impediments that doom you and your entire crew if you're not careful... which you can't be, because the spots you'll run into are INVISIBLE. The gun selection is pretty solid; everyweapon has it's use, although melee tools hardly see any action unless you choose to drop into a hot zone, which I personally avoid. The network and "rubber-banding" lag are much better due to weekly patches, but it can still plague you at the most inopertune times, and the time it takes for structures, weapons and gear to load in after a drop can mean the difference between life and death.

    It's an addicting and rewarding game when you don't lag... but you will; that's the issue.    … Expand

    For those wondering, why is this so familiar?

    - Well, because the person behind this game is PLAYERUNKNOWN (as stated in the title of the game). It’s his standalone game. He first started his Battle Royale work in Arma 2/3 as Mods. Than Daybreak licensed Battle Royale gamemode from him and they implemented that his game mode in their game called ‘H1Z1,’ later on they saw the potential of Battle Royale and they split the game into 2 games with one game that only has the Battle Royale game mode called H1Z1.

    What does BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG) feel like?

    - It’s a mixture of Arma 3 and H1Z1, but more or less it feels like Arma (but not clunky) since it’s not arcadey like H1Z1 and it actually takes skill to learn. It’s not just about getting kills. It’s about surviving. If you like tactical’ness, outsmarting your opponent, a non-clucky engine like Arma 3 and just an overall fun time. This is the game for you. In Arma 3, it’s slow pace and walking everywhere, sometimes taking a vehicle. In H1Z1, almost everyone is in a car and if you get near someone they jump out (while the car is going full speed) and they try to shoot you. In this game, it’s medium pace, the vehicles in BATTLEGROUNDS will get you killed if you randomly jump out to kill someone at full or half speed.

    In BATTLEGROUNDS, you have servers where you can go Solo or find a teammate(s) in Duo and SQUAD, just like in H1Z1. Unlike in H1Z1, but like in Arma 3, if you team in Solo servers you will get banned. PLAYERUNKNOWN promised that Mod support would be coming at official release. But, Mod support is nowhere to be found in 1.0. They stated that Mod support to the point where you can create your own Battle Royale game mode (and publish it to the Steam Workshop), host it (maybe rent a server like in the Battlefield series) and have your own community or group of friends play it. Weapon-wise, all these weapons don’t have predicable weapon recoil, they’re all different, as well with the bullet drop/travel. Attachments like forgrips, compensators and more all can decrease the recoil and change the final outcome of the game when it comes down to that 1v1 at the end. You can’t use 3rd person shooting all the time, it’s not accurate as 1st person shooting (like in H1Z1, both 1st and 2nd can be used at medium/long).

    As I mentioned in the beginning, getting the game for free doesn’t affect my review at all. But because this is a review, I have to be unbiased and review all aspects of the game, even the company behind the game. I give the score what I gave it because of one issue. Due to the fact that the Community Manager/Community Team of the game, Sammie and FWG (go on my Twitter for that link/story). They were very disrespectful, closed minded and banned me on many platforms to censor me. I would have given this game a 9/10 if this situation didn’t happen/taken place.

    In the end, I’m glad PU made the Mod in Arma 2/3 and Daybreak licensed the Battle Royale mode from PLAYERUNKNOWN. He got rid of the clucky’ness from Arma and understood all of H1Z1 mistakes, downfalls, lack of communication/game updates and made his own game. And to be honest with you, this game is pretty bada** and worth the buy. I’m glad that I was able to see this game grow when when Pre-Alpha was going on. And let's face it, H1Z1 is still in Early Access just this upcoming January in 2018, it will be 3 years in Early Access... PUBG put H1Z1 in it's coffin.

    Why is the score so low? I'm giving at least an 8 to this game. It VERY fun to play it with your friends. I highly recommend it. Doesn't matter if fortnite and pubg not. PUBG is a different game and I rather play it than play fortnite. I would give fortnite a 5. I hate cartoon games, specially if the shot doesn't go where you aimed as fortnite...

    There's a steep learning curve if you are new but the game is easy to understand and play. First person mode works well and the guns feel and sound good but the hackers and grass despawning through scope need to be dealt with.

I guess you can buy it if you are looking for a game to stream and want to appeal to children, but if you have any actual taste I'd aim a little higher and just go down to Crown Fried or KFC to get that chicken dinner instead.… Expand

    Good, intense, fun experience. The only issue I have is the dull colors unless you have a mega machine PC. Even though Fortnite is better imo, PUBG is still a great game all multiplayer fans should play.

Blue circle which contracts is an idea but would be better executed by contracting zones by area (e.g if 30 players in one area blue circle contracts for those 30 players only while another zone with 20 player contracts this way the groups fight till there is 1 player or team in each area then the circle gets wider again for 5 minutes then recontracts at a central stage.
    10. They should use two sets of planes (set a and set b) (set a sets off along line x while set b sets off online y) - This would allow more players to potentially find each other and actually have mid range fights around cover , which doesn't happen in this.

    This game is not a shooting game its a RNG collecting game where you collect x loot and go wow i got this , this and this and then cry cause it taken away by 2-3 hits where you have no idea where it come from. Game badly needs indicators to at least give players a fair chance at actually shooting there gun.

    Good with others bad alone. It gets boring picking up loot to engage in no action what so ever cause someone else got a sniper rifle and a 4x scope and you got an uzi and no scopes.    … Expand

You got your horrific lag when there are many people at one location and you got general connection issues resulting in a batch of players losing connection. After restarting it wants to reconnect me with the running game, only for me to be stuck AGAIN on the loading screen. Just watch how many AFK dudes get pushed out at the end of the flight path of the plane! Half of my squad matches the team isn't even full! With 100 players you can't distribute them somewhat evenly!? Wth? Oh yeah, and you got your teamkillers, toxic people and cheaters too. In case you want that in a game. Enjoy!

    The performance is the worst i ever have seen in a game. Lags are not unusual. So it is also RNG if you are in a fight it depends on who has the better connection.
    Cheaters destroy your fun very fast.
    Don't turn on the voice chat. Else your ears will bleed cause of a lot of idiots.
    Played it app. 32h with friends. And I only will play it with friends.
    This game consists for me 80% of boring running, looting and camping. But this can be a question of taste...    … Expand

    There are a lot of reasons why this game shouldn't have a 10. But honestly I like this game a lot despite the problems it has. Nothing is perfect. I have tons of fun while playing and have made some gaming buddies along the way.

    It is beta..... 50% of all time this game don`t work. Too bad and lazy programmist work with code for this game. Looks liek all this bugs will be never resolved. I recommend to investor just fired all this stupid team. Idea is no bad, but team who made this game is fuc#ing sh|t

    As I watched all the bugs and missing features get brushed aside for the game being in early access my concern only grew, but I was unprepared for just how committed Bluehole was to making their 2nd (3rd?) goal of launching it by the end of 2017.

    This game is not anywhere near complete, bugs and connectivity problems. Framerates that drop all the time. But this is the version of the game that got shipped as "complete". So no more dodging criticism.

    I'd give this game a 2 but I took another point off for having lootboxes in it. Gambling does not belong in video games.    … Expand

    Although undeniably fun an unique (for now) PUBG is crippled by poor optimization and under-development. A brilliant idea that will ultimately be usurped by larger, more experienced studios

    I have been playing PUBG for 1 month now and from as far as i can tell it's a really fun game, but of course it has it's issues like bugs, etc. Anyway i never experienced a major bug beside the vehicles that crash into really small objects.... It's also a complex shooter, because there is a variety of weapons and mods that will be bigger in the future. Also it provides big maps which is a great feature and they are planning on adding a third map in 2018. It's also nice that you can drive a variety of cars that will also get bigger with further updates. It's also great that we can play both Third Person and First Person and we can always change the servers.
    With that being said, i highly encourage you to support PUBG and look into the future plans of this game and give some trust to Bluehole, which is a small team trying to rise with this great game, that is surely intense, realistic and fun!

    When this game does something right, it excels at it. The gameplay is some of the most fun I've had in a long time. The one thing this game lacks at is reward system. Repetive loot boxes are not good enough for me to keep playing.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game reminds me of Arma series, like DayZ which is bad game (mod). Can't say PUBG is any better because it just looks like DayZ, the game looks bad and i dont understand the hype around these **** games ever.

    I havent played the game but i hate when people are mislead to buy games that is only a multiplayer and has 1 map and time limit and is spinoff amonst many others, easy way for youtubers to make easy money off of funny videos from PUBG but it's bad marketing for the other gamers out there.    … Expand

Still after the "1.0" version of the game.     PUBG is one of those games you're waiting to see AAA studio make. And EA has already hinted that they are seriously looking at taking this design further in next BattleField. Please EA, do it. I can't believe I am rooting for EA to do something well. Go DICE!

    The designer of this game is a brilliant dude, when it comes to design, he is a terrible community manager, awful technician, and an abnoxious public personality. When asked to region lock China (where 99% of cheaters come from) he called his NA community xenophobic. Never-mind that playing with people who cannot speak your language in a game where communication is not optional - completely ruins the experience.

    He ignores everything that annoys the community - the unfinished Miramar map, which should really be used as an example of how not to do maps, is forced on the player. There is no option to select the map, and because a lot of people don't want to play on it - it creates an over abundance of open servers with Miramar. Prepare yourself for a lot of Miramar - which comes with virtually undrivable terrain, busted loot and facilitates running more than running simulator does.

    Even after the game has been "fully" released netcode still sucks, although its not unplayable anymore. Loot field is filled with useless items like clothes (WHY!?! What does this add except blocking other items from being picked up?). Melee weapons are a checklist item - hardly anyone uses any of it outside of occasional gif clip on reddit. If you're used to awesome Battlefield melee system - you'll be in shock. Melee in PUBG is like drunken boxing where both parties will need to have their stomach pumped in the morning. Netcode is sluggish, molassy, unresponsive mess. If you're used to TF2 or Counterstrike - this game will feel broken. You'll be confused and irritated - as to why your shots dont land and why you've died running 5 feet behind a corner to a guy who should not be able to see you.

    Vehicles still flip at random on flat terrain. Glitches and messed up textures are everywhere. LOD does not seem to have been crafted beyond default Unreal Engine auto-lod. Hit registration is horrible, you'll routinely end up thinking you've hit the guy, and will see blood but when watching replay - you either never fired the gun or you've never hit the other player.

    Sound is insanely confusing and more often than not makes no sense - because its seemingly coming from a random direction.

    And lets not forget the stupid crates. Bluehole is bent on selling you crates. You thought EA was crate-obsessed? You're wrong - Bluehole is the new king of crate peddling - to a point where is an entire economy around it now (primarily from China) full of cheaters who only play to win the games, get the points, buy the crates, and re-sell items on the market.

    In conclusion I'd advise to wait for a AAA studios to make better versions of this game. It would suck if your first Battle Royale experience was as bad as PUB. Looking forward to DICE efforts.    … Expand

    The whole madness around PUBG is well-deserved. This is the best possible praise for this great battle-royale-genre shooter. What a pity there are so many bugs, mad vehicle physics and occasional cheaters, but it bothers you only for a while. When you frantically get into the hectic, slightly frightening struggle for life and death you’ll forget anything else.
