Please take into account the amount of drama and unpleasant-ness surrounding this release, while I won't outline it here, many Early Access backers are feeling burnt by the behavior of Uber Entertainment in this situation. Be wary.

Simply put, this is an extension of Planetary Annihilation. Unfortunately, it's the extension of things we all asked for in the first place. Other than that,

Simply put, this is an extension of Planetary Annihilation. Unfortunately, it's the extension of things we all asked for in the first place. Other than that, it's for all intents and purposes the same game.

Don't get me wrong, the units are an improvement to the game, but when the original base game was so unfinished, this feels like we're just being resold what we already paid for in the first place, and many share that view. To give people a prime example of this I'll take the orbital gameplay, Titans fleshes out the orbital gameplay to some degree, adding Orbital battleships, and defense turrets, along with new ways to invade a planet. Unfortunately, in the original PA, orbital gameplay was so undernourished we had approximately 3 combat units, so you can see why people may feel like a lot of this should have come as standard, rather than being sold to them once more.

This rings true for the vast majority of changes, the only exception to that being the titular Titans, and while they are fun, do not justify the price tag we are seeing.

Doesn't hold a candle to a game it's trying to be an indirect sequel for despite being released almost 20 years later, or any of the other spiritual successors. Visually uninteresting and uninspiring, with graphics that try to look cartoony and simple but end up looking extremely dated, with terrible and repetitive visual effects- hell, destroyed planes don't even leave any wreckage, just disappear mid-air, often times in a tiny explosion 1/5th the size. Sense of scale is nowhere to be found as the battles and maps feel smaller than its 23-year old predecessor, let alone Supreme Commander. Planets instead of flat maps sound like a cool idea, but ends up falling flat as you realize the planets are hilariously small even on largest settings, completely uninteresting and usually have completely flat terrain anyway, and managing multiple planets even with multiple screens is a horrible tedious pain. Only one faction with a pathetic variety of uninteresting units is not enough to entertain anyone for even half their first match. All that coupled with hilariously simplistic galactic conquest mode makes me honestly think this is a game for children ages 3-10. Quite shady developer practices, too. There are plenty of games that do everything Planetary Annihilation tries to do, each better in every way. Expand

Its the same as planetary annihilation with a few extra bits tacked on... Same issues to boot.

I cant stand the spherical maps, they're such a pain in the ass to deal with.

Planetary Annihilation Titans is Planetary Annihilation all over again with some DLC added. It still has the same problems Planetary Annihilation have.

It's a shame that the release of Planetary Annihilation Titans will prevent that you ever going to see a fully completed vanilla Planetary Annihilation. If you enjoyed Planetary Annihilation this might be a game for you but where the

Even though game is fun there is one problem...its as fun as previous one, actualy, its almost same game with some additional DLC level content added. Go check original games rewiev, its the same thing. And thats why i leave it as negative - how company (uber) handled evrything is awfull at least. Trying to get more money and blowing your reputation is...well, bad thing to do.

Shameless scam artists release bug fixes and promised features as add-on. Removes original game and kills it's player base and get rid of negative reviews at the same time. Can't trust them as likely after this getting such bad reviews they will make new add-on and remove this from steam to get clean slate.

Trash abandonware from shifty developers who removed the original game and re-listed with ONE NEW UNIT for another $35. Why? Because their trash game got "mostly negative"!

This is garbage, these devs are garbage, and you should avoid them at all costs. 0/10 broken scam

Planetary Annihilations: TITANS resembles the game PA should have been at release. [Oct 2015]

Better than the original Kickstarter version. It's not perfect, but a step in the right direction and worth playing - due to the lack of competition.

It’s far from the best RTS game on the market, and existing Planetary Annihilation players whose enthusiasm has waned are unlikely to find much here to reignite it.
