    I have been with this game since its beta release and before that with the first game, its definatly one of my favorite. It was better in the first year after his release after that they turned it into a cash grab with a paid dlc every month or so adding stuff and making it obsolete with the next one.

    Thankfully i didn't have to buy this as I played it at a friends , why this game took so long is anyone's guess it just has so many bad point's both with bugs and the playability of the game itself.

    This game was a lot better than I expected it to be before release. But it has some positives, but has even more flaws and that makes the game mediocre at best. If you find it fun, it will get old terribly fast, and this isn't helped by all the bugs it has. Oh boy, can't forget about those dumb microtransactions. God forbid if you can get everything by buying the game outright.

    I used to really enjoy this game. It was one of the best co-ops out there.
    There was a lot of promised content they never delivered on but it still managed to be a fun game.
    Even though it's always had its issues with bugs and (at points) game breaking glitches. With every update, the game got worse and worse. Some things got fixed, whilst other things broke completely. I don't think    I used to really enjoy this game. It was one of the best co-ops out there.

    With every update, the game got worse and worse. Some things got fixed, whilst other things broke completely. I don't think I've even witnessed a stable version of this game. Let's just say, It was half baked on release.

    Since then the devs have been making countless terrible DLCs to try and fill it out, demanding too much money for too little. Their answer? To just keep making more and more low quality DLC.

    Just when you thought they couldn't do any worse, they announce Microtransactions on top of it all.
    At least they're staying true to the name of the game. They're sure getting their Payday and much more.

    I now feel bad having this game in my list. As I do not support poor DLC and Microtransactions.

    Payday 2 is somewhere between frustrating and great, because there are many things that should be better, but with the right team it's an awesome game and it only gets better the more you play. Good:

    * With the right team and good communication, it's one of the best coop experiences.
    * Many different possibilities to do missions and the game mechanics generally work great. When everything comes together and you pull off the perfect heist, it's very rewarding.
    * Nice customization options (masks and weapons).
    * Great soundtrack.
    * Shooting feels and sounds very good.
    * Cool back story, they even made some movie clips. There's not much of a story in the game itself, but it works.

    Most players suck at the game though, because it can be quite difficult and requires more than shooting, and that really drags the whole experience down as you'll find very few enjoyable public games on the higher difficulties. Bad:

    * The loot system is completely randomized and it's retarded. I've played over 30 hours, am level 50+ and only got one of the weapon mods I need.
    * Connection problems when too many players are online.
    * The game browser keeps crashing and you have to restart Steam to fix it.
    * There's an XP penalty for playing the same mission too many times. When some missions are played more than others, it's because of bad mission balance, so they should work on that.
    * Many missions are too difficult for public groups, that's why players only play the easier ones. Sometimes there are way too many enemies and you can't really do anything, more so when you're unlucky with loot drops and have crap equipment. Especially on multi day missions, the last mission is often too difficult and all the time spent on the mission is lost when it fails.
    * Most of the weapon and armor stats are displayed with rounding errors and/or the math behind it is just weird, which makes the game bad for theory crafting.
    * When you get disconnected before a game ends, you get nothing. Which leads directly to the next point: the game doesn't have host migration. If the host disconnects, it's over.
    * Sound gets stuck often when a game ends.
    * There are many "hold down F key" events. These should be triggered by tapping the key once. Pressing it down for several minutes is really lame.

    Also, props to the developers for releasing free content. I just wish they would concentrate their efforts on fixing some of these problems.    … Expand

    We never received 7 Day heists, the game is poorly optimized even on a 1070 I'm receiving drops below 60FPS, it's still a buggy mess, microtransactions came out of nowhere, pay to win skins, etc.    The PC version of Payday is the best but it's really not all that.     Most of the game is just waiting for something to open. Stealth is just boring too.
    Over 100's of hours poured into this game yet I never felt fully satisfied on what the developers could do. No updates really brought this game to the best it could've been.

    Really only enjoy this game if you have friends and are willing to spend for it. It's not bad but it just feels incomplete and buggy.    … Expand

    What I rated 9 before now gets a 1 thanks to developers that lie and alienate their loyal fans.
    This is a big game, with LOTS of DLCs...to add microtransactions to it as well is just being money hungry. Overkill ruined one of the best games of it's time and I won't support them again because of this.

    Ah, PAYDAY 2. My review went from 0 up to 7 because they removed the microtransactions from the game (which influenced the weapon's stats!) and simply because it's a solid PvE co-op game. The gunplay is satisfying (one of my favorite gunplays of all shooters), the skill system allows some depth without beeing too confusing and the highest difficulty is challenging. Yet, there are someAh, PAYDAY 2. My review went from 0 up to 7 because they removed the microtransactions from the game (which influenced the weapon's stats!) and simply because it's a solid PvE co-op game. The gunplay is satisfying (one of my favorite gunplays of all shooters), the skill system allows some depth without beeing too confusing and the highest difficulty is challenging. Yet, there are some cons: The insane ammount of DLC and the feeling of P2W which comes along with DLC only weapons is definitely a downside. Also are we still waiting for some of the content which was promised before release, and the game is out for over 2 years now. And there are balancing problems, yuite huge ones actually, but as it is a PvE game it doesn't impact me THIS much that I would call it unplayable.… Expand

    Overkill has put the blame for the microtransactions on 505 studios, bought them out, sent them packing and removed the microtransactions. We have our game back.

    But because of the many broken promises over the years, it will take time and absolutely no more lies, to fully earn my trust enough to purchase the already announced Payday 3.     I enjoyed the game during free play, but the amount of dlcs and now the added microtransactions which they don't intend to remove makes me feel the company only cares about our money.

    Freed from 505's overlordship, the developers have responded appropriately to player discontent and removed the hated microtransactions. Payday 2 is once again a game worthy of a high rating.

Нонразумистов хватало, а сейчас физически невозможно играть с рандомным подбором, потому что всегда найдется гений, который на стелс-миссию возьмет гранатомет. Почему бы и нет?
    Ведь были надежды, было же интересно играть. Определенный шарм заключался в прохождении заданий по стелсу, а не с пулеметами на перевес. Да, есть карты, где необходимо залетать только с рпг и шестистволкой, но когда есть выбор, то он всегда падал на стелс, ибо интереснее и сложнее, ведь как шутер, будем честны, PD2 очень слаб, физика оружия резиновая, фальшивая и фарсовая, это никуда не годится, а разве кто-то жаловался? Это, несомненно, минус, но, еб*нный в рот, БЫЛ ЖЕ СТЕЛС, НА МЯСО ВСЕМ БЫЛО ПЛЕВАТЬ. Что сейчас? Стелс убит, все перки и навыки сгинули в небытие, они вам уже не понадобятся. Да, именно, не ослышались. Все билды, умелое распределение очков в дереве и сочетания разных билдов в команде уже не нужны. Зачем?     Assumption of this game is - you and 3 other players are well trained heisters. Your job is to rob banks, steal some valuable stuff and much more. In game you can customize your mask for heists, your weaponry    Payday 2 is a co-op mulitplayer game. I spend a lot of time with it (over 1000h) and for this moment i think i can say something about what this game was, and what is it now.

    Assumption of this game is - you and 3 other players are well trained heisters. Your job is to rob banks, steal some valuable stuff and much more.

    In game you can customize your mask for heists, your weaponry and skills of your character which has big affect in real game.

    At premiere games was very buged, had problems with balance and a lot of server/connections issues . With time Overkill was repairing those problems. Then they started adding new heists - of course for money - as payable DLC. It's nothing wrong with that.
    But yet... even with time passing, there was still a lot of bugs which Overkill just ignored. But i was ok with that becouse somehow i still had fun with this game.
    And then... at the 2015 "crimefest", Overkill added payable "Drills" which can gave us "skins" for weapons. It would be nothing wrong with it if those "skins" doesn't boost up weapons parametrs. But hey, this isn't a player vs. player game. It's co-op game. So it would be ok but... there always is a "but". Not everyone spotted that with those "skins" Overkill added to the game "weapons balance" which was supposed to fix feeling of some weapons. In my opinion that "feeling" was fine. But that patch "weapons balance" lower guns statistics - dmg, accuracy ect. and payable "skins" was rising stats to those before the patch. AND THAT! THAT IS NOT OK. As a gamer and as a consumer i say "NO" - i payed for this game at launch, i bought all DLCs that comes out and then they break my game and tell me that i have to pay for skins so i can fix my weapons? That's some nonsense.
    Later they did another funny thing. They made "Point Break" heist + new playable character. Heist was for cash and character was for free and Overkill announced that "character is for free thanks to the Black Market (those goddamn drills)". Realy? It's from the Black Market Money? Not from "Point Break" movie commercial inside your game? That's how it's done these days. Get paid for commercial "heist" inside your game, and take money for it, then throw some bone (character what was probably included in agreement with guys from "Point Break") and say "it's for free becouse you paid for it earlier".
    The list is long, sad and very hurting becouse PayDay 2 was one of my favorite co-op games ever.
    All of it, what i wrote above, could be somehow understandable if this game would work properly. But now... with new DLC game crashes all the time for me, my friends and a lot of random people. Of course Overkill is doing nothing with it. They probably are busy with counting money from new DLC.
    For that kind of attitude to customer my rating for this game dropped from 8/10 to 4/10. Sorry Overkill but my rate and all similar from another people, YOU brought it on yourself.    … Expand

Let it go already, PAYDAY is DEAD. It's not as challenging as PAYDAY: The Heist used to be. It's not fun to run around the map and killing thousands of badly programmed bots with your friends, itFor the past few year OVERKILL has been slowly killing it's own game. In Payday 2 normal graphics, many good characters and Masks - Dallas, Rust and other, many interesting stealth and shooter missions. I think shooter missions in Payday 2 is much better than stealth missions. Gameplay in shooter and stealthPayday 2 is one of the best Multiplayer Game in my opinion.     I came back to find a ton of paid dlc (not always so bad) BUT...

    ---> PAY TO WIN stat boosting microtransactions are unacceptable in a game I paid full price for, expecting that I could play it properly in the future.

    ---> What a joke! If I could get any kind of refund now, I would.

He respected his people, promising never to implement micro transactions, and to provide free content updates. But as time passed in this wonderful land of PAYDAY 2, the kings lust for money grew. He began to create pricey DLCs, rather than fixOnce upon a time, there was a king. His name was OVERKILL. He was a good king, loyal to the people of the land of PAYDAY 2, which he ruled over. He respected his people, promising never to implement micro transactions, and to provide free content updates. But as time passed in this wonderful land of PAYDAY 2, the kings lust for money grew. He began to create pricey DLCs, rather than fix the bugs throughout the land, and turned free content into useless content, like playable characters with no relevance to the plot or even the concept of PAYDAY. One day, the king, mad with greed, had an idea. At the end of this years annual CRIME-FEST, he'd do to the people the one thing he promised never to do. He released a system of loot boxes, safes, which could only be opened by paying money directly to the king himself. The people we're outraged. Their fair king had descended into madness. Safes were popping up everywhere their loot used to be. The people who embraced this new system were rewarded with skinned weapons with better stats, while those who couldn't afford drills were forced to suffer. While their teams would be fitted with these newer, better weapons, the people who didn't buy drills got left in the dust, just like with the DLCs. Noticing a mob gather at his castles doorstep, the king panicked. He knew he had pushed it too far now. He locked himself in his castle for a week, leaving his people lost and confused about what he had done. Finally, he emerged from his sanctuary. He figured the only way to disperse the crowd and keep his wealth was to make the drills, which he planned to profit so greatly from, available as a loot drop as well. He made sure to cut his losses as close as possible, making them an even rarer drop than most items in the land. Most of the people left, trusting their king did the right thing. But when those who didn't leave began asking their questions about the micro transactions, the king quickly spoke about "bringing balance to the land" with the new weapon skins advanced stats, then retreated back to his castle. Today, the people still willing to follow heir greedy, immoral king is far too many for a full revolt, but as the king pushes more overpriced DLCs into the peoples hands, the tension throughout the land builds. One day, the king will be brought to his knees, and will be forced to pay for his crimes against the people.… Expand

    This is one of the greatest games you could ever hope to play with friends. Even the pubs aren't THAT bad if you know how not to act like a jerk. It's clever, funny, and it tends to skirt the boundaries between "serious bank-robbing scenario" and Metal Gear levels of just plain odd (I wish it would just hop the fence already but its still just skirting enough to kind of hold interest).This is one of the greatest games you could ever hope to play with friends.     Payday is a one of a kind series, and it does a lot of stuff in different and interesting ways, but i'm not going to list them. Do not start PAYDAY 2. Buying the base game is the equivalent to a gateway drug, and I don't care resistant you think you are to paying for DLC because you will wake up one day and realize just how little you've gotten from how much you've given. The companys standing is in a very unsteady position right now, and the new director or head or whatever is making some odd decisions on how to handle the separation with the community.

    Game has very small areas in each location and the game get you to do the same thing over and over to level up e.g. get 4 bags of loot and move it to truck but you can only carry 1 bag at a time . Very boring .Story is also weak and boring .

    Bought it during the steam sale. Had to choose between Rocket league and Payday 2. After huge frequent updates i am left with a Pay to Win game. Disappointing to say the least.

A series of updates could have perfected this game but instead we got an intro to micro-transactions that they previously promised wouldn't be in the game.     I love this game it is so fun when you play with friends and the mission are Intense and quite Nerve wracking but playing online is the worst, if you make one mistake they will kick you and let me give you some advice Overkill. STOP ADDING DLC IT IS KILLING THE GAME.

    I really don't know how to review this game, it's glitchy, a bit repetitive and the shooting mechanic is really mediocre but I would be lying if I didn't said that payday 2 was the most fun I had playing with friends.

    The gameplay isn't really good, the shooting mechanic isn't satisfying like a good shooter, every guns feel the same, the customization isn't really good since you have to pay DLC for it, it falls flat and it gets annoying sometimes with the amount of policeman you have to kill...
    BUT my favorite part of the game are the stealth missions, these missions make this game fun, where you have to communicate with your friends, everyone has an important job to do and when you complete the mission, it is the most rewarding moment for us.

    I know that this game isn't really great, it has a tones of problems, the rating I give doesn't reflect the actual quality I think this game has, this rating just shows how much fun I had, I never had so much fun on an online game, I guess I can call this game a guilty pleasure.    … Expand

    8.5 - Don't pay attention to the bad user score. This game is pretty awesome, with fun coop multiplayer that is different from most games (due to the concept of bank heist). Lots of detailed and varied maps and very funny masks to use.

    至于突突突，本游戏的枪械手感一般，对于操作的要求实际也没那么高，主要还是靠技能的搭配。而且枪械其实也要看属性加成的。本人是潜入向玩家，但是在二转100级搭配好技能之后已经带ai单刷大多数地图的4星难度无压力（最高6星）。

    这个游戏是一个技能导向性的游戏，这也意味着这个当玩家能够较为有目的性的规划技能树之后，这个游戏的难度基本就减少了一半以上。剩下的，由于面对的敌人都会被智商碾压，因此只要总结规律就好。难度这东西其实可以说是不存在的，没啥是看个攻略还不能“你上你也行的”。那么，这个游戏的后期必然面临着：知道怎么搭配技能了，潜入太简单，突突突总是死不了的尴尬境地。游戏的挑战性没有了以后，玩家黏性必然也随之下降。想要扩展可玩内容，又要另外掏钱了，而蠢驴在完全版之后也停止发售DLC，因此氪金也不能解决这个问题。蠢驴对于这个问题的解决方法只是简单的设置了二十五次转生，但是显然这二十五转不是每一个玩家都有兴趣完成的。    … Expand

    Used to love this game when it was worth it. Now, microtransactions, boxes/keys and no new content. While it's indeed nice to come back to this game twice a year and play for a week with friends, that's about it. You re-do all same missions over again and you uninstall it.

    I played this a lot back in the day, lots to do and capable of providing a good challenge for up to four players (Bots were useless). I always preferred to go in guns blazing and holding off waves until we had finished the objective, which got really tense at times and made it feel like an accomplishment when you beat a level with max loot. Although they added loot-boxes and micro-transactions after saying they wouldn't which ticked a lot of people off. The game-play is good, but it does feel money grabby now. Shame.    … Expand

    This is an amazing game and it's a shame that it's user score is so low because of one mistake that overkill made years ago that was fixed fairly quickly. I seriously recommend this game, I have spent many hours into the game and enjoyed almost every single one. Story and secret ending are fantastic too, although I won't spoil anything here.

    bad netcode leading into desyncs what can be frustrating at some points.

Тазеры стали ебошить через стены, чего не могут клокеры в виду того, что они беззащитны даже если рядом с ними пара напарников. Медики имеют кулдаун хила на 2 секунды и способность хилять через стену. Даже если они не отошли на 2 метра от спавна. Обычные юниты это и мясо, и Мистеры-Танатосы убивающие всё и вся возможное и имеющие достаточно ХП, чтобы ты не успел их убить до того, как увидишь "крылья" Лебединки. Снайперы теперь не снайперы, а про-киберкотлеты со способностью реагировать на малейшее изменение в пространстве.
    Стелс не лучше. Ты можешь спрятаться за кружкой, но ты не спрячешься от ситуации, когда тебя со всех сторон зажимают гарды, а у тебя не осталось пейджеров. И некоторые ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥е ачивкм по типу "Сталкера", где надо постоянно тыкать в Гаррета под наплывом гардов не менее бесящие. Сам стелс рандомен как никогда. Ты можешь с первого раза пройти Алессо, но потом тебе не повезёт на ювелирке из-за гарда на другом конце улицы, который своим ЮВЕЛИРНЫМ взглядом заметил пиксель от головы мёртвого цивила.
    В целом, гейплей можно считать САМЫМ несправедливо осложнённым в истории игростроя.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ даже в Rainbow Six Siege я имею 0.2 секунды на то, чтобы среагировать и убить противника, пока тут море врагов за которыми не уследишь, ибо они стрейфят аки Беркуты из КС и двигаются лучше кектеров из 4 Фолыча.
    И да, за 6 лет можно было всё сделать хорошо, но Оверы всё про♥♥♥♥♥♥♥и и поставили нас перед этим фактом.
    "Античит" MoneySaver, который спасает ТОЛЬКО карманы разработчиков, ибо считает читеров не тех людей, которые читерят, а с DLC анлокером просто добил меня.

At this moment i have over 480+ hours invested in this unique experience and i am max-lvl 2600( infamy XXV 100) and the gameplay experience is one of the most polished out there.

    But there is a great down side to this otherwise masterpiece of a game and that is called
    micro-transactions and you could even say that there was some kind malicious way they got people to buy all there 40+ DLCS.
    It always starts with a DLC being released. And if you didnt own it you only had the option to play with the standard weapons and perks.
    And the no DLC weapons and perks are like sticks and rocks in comparison to the ones released in the different DLC packs.
    Playing on the hardest difficulty which is "Death Sentence" with the "ONE DOWN" modifier is almost impossible up to straight up impossible with the non pay weapons.
    And every new DLC featured guns that where straight up better than there predecessors.
    However when a new DLC got released the weapons from the previous ones got nerved so much that they either became mediocre, gimmicky or straight up usless and the new weapons became mandatory for the different end game builds.
    So it was like a vicious never ending cycle of buying the new DLC, DLC getting nerved, buying the next new DLC and so on..    … Expand

    The Content you get for 20,16€ (The Price of the game with all DLC) is stunning! Over 70 heists, 100 waepons, 20 characters and more masks then a human could ever collect. It runs smoothly (even on weaker PCs), has a great Ping and the weapons feel awesome!

    Besides the playtime and dlc’s **** it still is a solid game, but only it were an indie 10 US$ game from its release

    I thoroughly enjoy this game and for £15 ultimate edition with all dlc is a good steal but i would not recommend it for people that do not enjoy heist games

    After the disaster of adding microtransactions in 2015 which where thankfully removed in a quick pace Payday 2 has proven to become one of the best PVE Coop games with various heists, endless build possibilities and an active and fun community. Beat purchased with the Legacy Edition that adds most of the DLC.

    Um jogo extremamente barato (em 2020) e com muito conteúdo.. e que agora voltou a receber suporte por parte da OVERKILL (Empresa do game)
    Recomendo 100%

    OBS: O jogo não tem Microtransações faz anos.. não acreditem nessa cambada de lixo que nem se quer jogaram o jogo e estão falando que tem.

At number one, after a while I started to feel like I had nothing to do with my money. This will not happen to you here, because even after reaching level 100, you have the opportunity to enter the infam, which is ingenious. There are 25 infams in the game and it will take some time to get. The graphics are better than number one, but again nothing breathtaking. But it looks good, except for some blurred objects in the distance. As I mentioned in my review of Left 4 Dead 2, this also applies to graphics here. Better worse, but with the fact that it will also reduce HW requirements and the game can be played by more people. You have a choice of masks, armor, weapons and especially those weapons where the biggest stumbling block is. There are several DLCs in the game, which will not allow you to take the delicious minigun right in front of your eyes, with which you can mow one poem. So if you want to taste this delicacy, you have to reach into your wallet. Although not deep, such a minigun was just an example and in the game the DLCs together are really a hill, so if you want all the content, you will unfortunately have to pay extra. I'm really sorry. Don't worry, the game is one of the best multiplayer games I've ever played, although it still is, so what the game crashes are DLC. Maps have also undergone a change for the better. There are a lot of memorable missions, but again they are not part of the game. The only luck is that if your friend already owns the DLC maps and will be kind and invite you, then you can join in and not own the DLC. Despite the DLC, it's a great game for me and one of the best multiplayers I've ever experienced. I don't know if the game is still being played at this time, what I'm writing a review, but if you have a friend or best friends and create your own crew in the form of four players, you have a long way to level and fight for who will be the best thief of all dob. But I probably wouldn't start playing myself today.… Expand

Just the DLC that you can get for 20 bucks, and increases the longevity of the game tenfold. Now I'm definitely biased, because I've sunk more time into this game than I would like to admit, but this game is just fun, plain and simple. If you bring along some pals, it can be some of the stupidest fun you could ever have. I can't stress this enough, if you have the money to spend, get this game. The characters are so memorable, the gameplay stays fresh hundreds of hours in, and the soundtrack is truly one of the greatest soundtracks of any video game. Simon Viklund truly engineered some beautiful noise in this game.… Expand

I also really enjoy character perk decks and abilities in the game, it adds SO MUCH, it gives so many options to play; Wanna run around super fast whilst killing everything that moves while also wielding akimbo shotguns? you can do this, maybe you really like melee combat, and really want to kill someone with a **** toothbrush? why not! and maybe you don't want to fight at all, but rather make your enemy surrender, and then convert them so they can fight on your side just like some infamous polish youtuber did? hell yeah, you can.

    Speaking of combat, i need to say that it is pretty good there, although feels a little bit stiff, in the base game you have a good-enough arsenal of weapons, Assault rifles, SMG's, shotguns and some "special" weapons, and it is enough for the base game, what i also really like is the fact that you can modify them however you like, WHICH I ABSOLUTELY ADORE, like **** it may not be as good as in other games (i heard that tarkov's weapon mod system is just broken) but i do enjoy it.
    Although, there's one thing i don't really like about the weapons in this game, as they feel kinda... boring, to say the least, like when shooting them i barerly feel the recoil, and well, there is recoil, and it definetly makes your aiming job harder, but it feels just wrong, it hits way too weak and just makes you drag your mouse down, very slowly in fact.

    Oh, and the heists, they are mostly arlright, from your average bank heists to straight up stealing goats from across the street, there are some really good ideas thrown here, but the way they are made are often bad, like it's almost always the same thing, and i mean:
    1. drill/saw a container that has valuable stuff
    1.5 shoot stuff
    2. steal it
    2.5 shoot stuff
    3. run for your **** lifes

    - Graphics

    Graphics in this game are just... okay, they aren't perfect, but they don't make your eyes bleed too, character design is pretty flippin' good too, especially the enemies', like **** you can't tell me that Cloakers and Bulldozers don't look awesome.

    - Voice Acting

    Voice acting in this game is literal coinflip, there are characters that have just AMAZING voicelines and there are some that well... are f-ing recycled from top to the bottom. And i'm quite surprised about this one, as Enemy voicelines are absolute GOLD; they are creative and funny, yet you barerly hear even 20% of them, and Player Character quotes are well... MF'in terrible, most of them are literally the same garbage but with a new tone, it's always the same "ENEMI CLOCKER SPOTTED!!111!1" or "x ENEMY DOWN", which sound just bad and uninspired imo, they sound llke the voice actors played the characters purerly for the so-called "PAYDAY" (fun fact, Ron Perlman who voiced Rust did exactly that) not to mention that you need to hear the same quotes on repeat for the next 200 hours if you really want to complete the game, like jesus christ, why.

    - Soundtrack

    PAYDAY's soundtrack is without a doubt, a banger, and i mean SURE, it is your average boring 1 2 3 drop big room house stuff that sounds like there was a **** template ued while making it (and there probably was a one!) but at the same time, it's just good, like good, it fits so perfectly with the gameplay, it gives you that odd "feeling" when the drop hits very Mord Fustangin' hard when you're about to kill like the entire Secret Service, my personal favorites are Razormind and Evil Eye.

    /// The BAD Things ///

    Imo, loot boxes USED to be a pretty big f-in problem in this game, and i can't really how much exactly, as i never really played this game before 2020 but i can say that in 2021, they're not a big problem, especially seeing old reviews and videos about this game, they are still there but they don't change the game much, and i mean SURE, there are some expensive skins that may change the gun stats a little bit, but they're not a big problem as this game is a PVE CO-OP, and not a PVP one, so there is barerly any P2W for sure.

    And there are DLC's to this game, and well, they are actually, decent-size problem, but i think that it's not as bad as people say, like sure, there are a **** of them but they're not that expensive, not to mention that the game itself on sale is like 1$ and the legacy collection on sale is like 20$, which in my opinion is a steal for that type of game.

The first mission out is robbing the bank and 300 cops throwing themselves at you. You have to run past police snipers to throw your cash in a van and drive away while the cops sit around and wonder where you went. It's just AWFUL. ThankThis game is simply awful.     -Overkill has repeatedly claimed that its updates were motivated by the community even when clearly not the case, as in with CrimeFest 2015's attempt of implementing lootboxes or most rebalances.
    -The newer heists, released in paid DLC have generally been well designed but not optimised at all, the community has released several mods for this, showing clearly Overkill just didn't put effort into it.
    -Overkill's community management is generally poor and inconsistent, I got banned, appealed and the moderator blocked me before I could even respond to the blatantly false allegations.
    -Overkill has put little effort into working with its large modding community in enhancing their experience or reducing the amount of blatant cheat mods.

    Meanwhile PAYDAY's community has probably made thousands of mods fixing bugs, adding maps and guns, rebalancing or overhauling its game mechanics, while most mods are not that major, the game can still be made a lot more replay-able.

    Overall the game is still fun and still has its great replay-ability, but Overkill generally hasn't really improved the game in a long time.    … Expand

    The developer always came through with new ideas throughout the years, to keep the community entertained and playing, even after that mentioned incident, kudos to them.
    Really a labor of love, and the maximum effort one can make out of an old racing game engine.

    Year after year I invite new friends to the game, and they always take a liking to it, sooner or later.
    DLCs are getting better and better, and the whole game just ages like fine wine.    … Expand

    Muito divertido e cheio de conteúdo. É muito maior que seu antecessor e possui uma gama gigantesca de possibilidades e variações em cada missão, seu maior ponto negativo é referente ao excesso ridículo de DLCs e o quão cru se torna o jogo base.

    PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
