Nov 21, 2015This dev has completely lost their mind and only cares about pinching their fans for every dime they can, This game went from decent to literally the worst game on earth. STAY FAR AWAY!
-
Nov 20, 2015this game sucks so hard they are never going to fix anything and it is almost impossible to play the game without buying 150 dlc's and then you can still waste another 20 bucks to gain a skin with stat boost which brings your weapon over the breakpoint.
going over the breakpoint is insane cause you now only need 1 shot instead of 2 but that's the reason why to spend 20 bucks... -

Nov 19, 2015Overkill makes Bad decisions that f*k a great game. A tons of DLC 's and adding micro transactions made it ( they said they wouldn't). Don't buy it, stay strong.
-
Nov 19, 2015Good game, bad developers, liar Almir Listo.
Hackers, microtransactions, no interest by users and the community, 33 debuff and useless DLCs, no transparency, no one believes them, the game was murdered by the developers. -
Nov 18, 2015Very bad game with very bad developers, very bad characters like john wick, very bad microtransactions very bad graphics, very bad everything. You are very bad person if you play this very bad game.

Nov 18, 2015Why on God's green earth would they add microtransactions? Seriously, the game is raking the dough as it is, you have to add THOSE as well? Geez. Oh and now of course the thing that cost 20 bucks and was supposed to be cosmetic only has stat boosts.
**** you, Overkill. -
Nov 18, 2015This game has completely been ruined by overkills greed and terrible business decisions
I had racked up over 700 hours into this game but I honestly wouldn't recommend it to anyone -
Nov 18, 2015It used to be such a good game before developers decided to go full retard.
They added p2w skins to the game which for example makes pistols now stronger than most rifles.
At its current condition this game should no longer be played or supported in any way. Walk away don't look back. -
Nov 16, 2015Good game.
Used to be. Before Overkill introduced microtransactions and skins that boost guns' stats. Despite claiming they hate them and that they will NEVER cripple their game with MTs. Dick move, OVK, dick move.
Oh, and there are also DLCs with owerpowered weapons like flamethrower, minigun or RPG.
1/10 just because it's still fun. Sort of. -
Nov 16, 2015A good game that has been degraded into a money making scheme by greedy devs. Milking the gamers, first with almost monthly dlc containing the best weapons and perks. Now a crate system which means spending money for a random item that may or may not improve your weapons.
-
Nov 16, 2015Overkill have **** the whole community over with update after update after update. The community outrage has been insane and how do overkill respond? More microtransactions.

Nov 16, 2015It's my most played game in steam and I used to love it, but they ruined the game by adding microtransactions which they promised multiple times not to add.

Nov 16, 2015Just a big NOPE after Greedfest 2015, adding MT and the COP dlc fiasco. It's sad that because core game is good, but the **** around it makes it hard to enjoy.
-
Nov 15, 2015Was pretty decent despite engine limitations, until micro transactions and donation begging started. Not to mention the lying about DLC and the inclusion of MT's.
-
Nov 15, 2015A once decent game let down by developers who are either incompetent or just outright dishonest. If you like the idea of seeing most weapons, heists and masks held behind as DLC on top of microtransactions for skins with stat boosts, Payday 2 is for you.

Nov 15, 2015Want to know what the best example of bad business practices by a game dev is? You're looking at it. Seriously, never before has any game community/dev relationship gone south this quickly... and for a damn good reason.
-
Nov 15, 2015I purchased the base game, then every DLC up to the BBQ Pack. This is a great game, but at a certain point it just isn't affordable, and now there is more than just the monthly DLC. I am unhappy with the way that Overkill has managed the content updates for this game.
I will update this review at a point that I WOULD recommend this game. -
Nov 15, 2015Honestly, not that good, unless you like insane powercreep with lots of DLC's which were essentially microtransactions and now are literally micrtransactions. Do not recommend.
-
Nov 15, 2015They promised to never add microtransactions to the game when they launched it. But Overkill's greed was stronger, and with the last update they added a microtransaction market. It's so easy to destroy a good game.
-
Nov 15, 2015ded gaem ded thread
thx 4 too much dlc and microtransactions
basically they **** it up, big time. They said no microtranscations, then added microtransactions on top of a heap of DLC. Hope you wanted to spend $150 for the whole game! -
Nov 15, 2015
-
Nov 15, 2015The Developers of Payday 2 lied alot to the own community. Even when they promised that they will listen, they managed it to f*ck their own community without lube ...
-
Nov 15, 2015I dont know what to say
A game filled with bugs, DLC's and now micro-transactions.
Avoid this game like cancer. Coincidentally cancer and payday 2 are similar now.
Avoid buying this, just buy anything else, it's better. -
Nov 15, 2015The core game itself is good. However, Overkill has implemented pay2win micro transactions in a game where the base cost of the game plus all additional DLCs exceed that of AAA games.

Oct 9, 2013PayDay 2 is one of the nicest surprises of the year. Overkill Software understands the atmosphere of gangster movies and wisely improves these pieces of gameplay, that might have been disappointing in the first game. The sequel is better in almost every way - you can play a thief and enjoy good character development and shooting systems. I really hope, that PayDay 3 will be even better.
