Mar 11, 2020Ori and the Will of the Wisps is amazing! The visuals, music and game mechanics are all incredible. You can tell this game was a complete labor of love by Moon Studios! I really enjoy the melee changes that were made as Ori feels like a right badass now :)
At $30 price point you are getting an amazingly engaging and innovative game with AAA polish. How could you go wrong with that? -

Mar 21, 2020Ori and the Will of The Wisps is better its predecessor in every aspect, but overall experience not just better - it's fantastic!
This game is absolute masterpiece.
Thank you, Moon Studios, for one of the best games I've played. -

Mar 23, 2020This game is just a masterpiece, it is a pleasure to play it. It was the best 9 hours of my life. The plot is delightful. The finale made me cry, it was amazing. From this ending, I started crying and then went to smoke a cigarette to digest it and calm down

Jul 27, 2020I played the previous game so much fun, I kept waiting for this game. Dreamy graphics and BGM were perfect. But this game closer to Hollow knight. It's as if the Hollow Knight is covered with Ori graphics. And there were some parts of the story that I couldn't understand.

Mar 16, 2020Absolutely fantastic metroidvania. Between Team Cherry (Hollow Knight) and Moon Studios ( Ori franchise) metroidvanias will never be the same again.

Mar 28, 2020I could easily drop 2 points for horrendous technical problems. Freezing, frame skipping, ctd, sound issues, slow downs...
But level design, story and presentation is utterly perfect multiply perfect! Story will break your hearth 10/10 -

Mar 15, 2020One of the best Metroidvania platforming skill based game ever, the perfect sequel, it expand and improve the previous chapter.
A fascinating storytelling, wonderful art direction and a perfect gameplay make Ori one the best title in its genre, some technical issues with not performing PCs but nothing that could damage the experience. -

Mar 11, 2020Ori and the Will of the Wisps managed to overcome his predecessor Ori and the blind Forest, which has already been a masterpiece without question. Awesome & engaging gameplay. Awesome graphics & atmosphere. Awesome & wonderful soundtrack. Already the first must-play-game in this early decade.

Mar 21, 2020This game is nothing short of a Masterpiece. The visuals are a work of art, the music is stunning, the gameplay is exciting and it plays incredibly smoothly. I can't say anything bad about this game. It's an improvement on the first one in every way, and that's saying something!. They set the bar very high now if there will be 3rd.

Jun 25, 2020What a game. Music: perfect. Gameplay: amazing. Improving on every single aspect of the first game. Story very emotional and well-written (although I still prefer the story arcs from the first game). A masterpiece of this genre.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jul 23, 2020An honest second installment, which is missing only the courage to leave the traditional dogmas of the genre and try something new. [Issue#303]

Jun 10, 2020It’s a shining example of how to do a sequel. They kept the core of what made the original enjoyable while switching up just about everything they could. There are some elements I feel it did better, some where I feel the original did better with, but on the whole they feel like they’re on equal footing. If you want a game that’s more of an experience than simply something to kill time, if you want something that showcases how artistic games can be, if you want an action platformer with plenty of approaches to combat, I can’t recommend enough that you pick up Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Also Ori and the Blind Forest if you haven’t played it already.

Edge MagazineMay 22, 2020Its moments of brilliance are worth experiencing, but they shouldn't blind anyone to the shortcomings of a sequel that, underneath that beautiful surface, is as frustratingly flawed as the first. [Issue#346, p.98]
