Summary:

The protagonist gives the cat some rice balls he has. When he wakes up the next morning, he finds a girl with cat ears sleeping happily in the same futon as him . She calls herself "Nekomata Okayu" and the protagonist and the aimless Okayu end up living together.
The presence of this mysterious girl brightens up the leisurely scenery of the protagonist's daily life. She holds a secret and her relationship with the protagonist. The two deepen their bond, which is more than friends but less than lovers, and they laugh, shed tears, and run through their youth.
