One of the best, most beautiful games ever made.

Okami HD is a fantastic game that I cannot recommend enough; at its $19.99 price tag, that is practically giving the game away.

Aside from a few minor gripes and this re-release of the game not offering much else from the 2012 PlayStation 3 re-release (other than higher resolutions and the return of loading screen mini-games), Okami HD is still a near-perfect game. If you haven't already beaten or played it yet, then now is a better time than ever before..Unless you're waiting for a Nintendo Switch port.

Despite its age, Okami HD is a very beautiful and enjoyable experience, as it enchantingly takes us to an era and traditions foreign to the western audience. It offers about 50-60 hours of entertaining gameplay, while it effortlessly passes the message of how we should respect the nature. A bright gem in the game library of those who will honour it.

Okami HD is a great opportunity for those who never had a chance to try this masterpiece when the original version was released in the last generation to experience the fantastic journey full of traditional Japanese culture in a high graphic performance.

Okami combines typical Zelda-like gameplay with an extraordinary art style and a world full of interesting mythology.

Okami was a high point of the PS2 era, fusing its action to an incredible art style that was years ahead of its time. It takes a bit to get moving from the opening section, but every new area is packed with things to do with little wasted space to be found and it doesn’t seem to ever stop growing. New areas bring new abilities that open up more options, both for solving puzzles in the world and taking out enemies, and there’s always something happening to pull you a little bit farther along the story. Okami HD is close to being the perfect version of the original game, sharp and crisp and beautiful in a way we could only have dreamed of when it first came out.

Occasionally languid to the point of lethargy, Okami is a gorgeous and unforgettable adventure all the same.

If you liked playing games from Platinum Games, which are now also found on the PC, Okami HD is also essential in your game library.

after i somehow forced myself to bare this madness, the game gave me control, only to take i back seconds afterward, with that little green shh** constantly talking and you have to press to pass his endless dialogues, i don't care about the story if it's told this way, and that annoying voice oh my god, i'm already angry at this point , constant interruptions, constant explaining of everything, you ear an apple and the game take control to tell u it's an apple, the menu interface and controls are weird, 30 fps lock (pcsx2 emulator run it just fin at 60), mouse is inverted both axis by default, the controller doesn't work, moving the camera gave me headache, this game is a perfect example of bad game design , i would kill myself if i had to ever play this sh.... again. f this , you can't pass 1min without it taking control from you and showing you dialogues you have to smash the enter button for them to quickly disappear
play okami they said, its a classic they said, you'll love it they said, get the f outta here -99/10 even 0 is not enough

This review contains spoilers, click full review link to view. People are simple and asinine to review this game at zero? Just as others have said don’t listen to the little haters… I don’t know if this game is old enough to be considered a classic, LOL… but I do think this game should be played by anyone likes action type Platformer is for sure. I don’t actually think this game deserves a perfect score I am just trying to offset some of these **** little voters who are just trying to bring it down I think you may be deserves 8/10 or so. I think this game is fun to play just for the cool Japanese watercolor visuals… Full Review »
