There’s no way of skirting the issue – this game is a Zelda clone, through-and-through. From the bombs and arrows to the comically oversized chests you find them in, Oceanhorn is a mere re-skin mod away from being the Zelda release for PC we all so desperately long for. In fact, this may well be the closest we will ever get.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is a pleasantly surprising homage to a classic adventure series.

Oceanhorn: Master of Uncharted Seas is a pretty enjoyable action adventure experience. Yes, it's a Zelda clone, but it pulls it off very well and, while some aspects, like the sea fairing mechanic, weigh it down, it's still quite a treat to play.

Zelda in all but name, but somehow still feels like its own thing. A worthy homage to one of gaming’s greatest.

Visually and gameplay-wise Oceanhorn is a good Zelda clone with lots of charme, definitely worth a journey by sailing boat.

Oceanhorn is a good game, a solid experience that works quite well on PC after being originally developed for mobile devices.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is a Zelda clone game ported from iOS. Despite its poor graphics, it achieves to impart the feeling of exploration to the player. Even though it's not as good as Zelda, it still remains a very interesting project for the fans of action adventure games.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is a decent clone of The Legend of Zelda for the ones who never had the chance to play it, though the difference is pretty evident.

Oceanhorn is not a Zelda game, but is a long adventure with some great moments (boss battles) and brilliant BSO. However, Oceanhorn has too simple mechanics and poor level design that builds a good game, but not an excellent one like it's Zelda inspiration.

Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas is a clone of Zelda (especially Wind Waker) that doesn't really do anything to avoid the comparison with the Nintendo brand. If the personality is dramatically under the heels, the game still manages to offer some fun thanks to the setting, the graphics and the exploration.

In its transition from mobile to home systems the game has lost some of its appeal, too big for handhelds, too small for big screen TVs.

A fun little mixture of casual games, RPG's and The Legend of Zelda. Not very original, but definitely a fun game. Plays well on my PC, but IA fun little mixture of casual games, RPG's and The Legend of Zelda. Not very original, but definitely a fun game. Plays well on my PC, but I only updated my rig so I'm not sure how it does on older machines. You should not expect a full AAA+ experience, but you don't pay a full AAA+ price. This game is well worth the money spent i.m.o. Full Review »
