Aug 22, 2016Lied to, lied to, lied to. There are literally hundreds of quotes from game devs and that smug lying swine who fed it to us. Do not grace this game with your patronage. Do not purchase it.

Aug 23, 2016After discovering the 'ending' to this game. Do not waste your time. Sorry but if i paid 20 bucks for this game id be fine. For 60US or in my case $81AU, absolute and utter rip off

Aug 25, 2016Lies about gameplay, lies about multiplayer, lies about everything. Performance is poor, it needs optimization, I have FPS drops all the time.
Hello Games lied to many people, but we won't forget. -

Oct 17, 2016It's bad, unfortunately it is.
Not a 0% game like many say, but it's just... boring.
Walk to get this, walk back to to get that, walk walk walk.
I'm not going into the false promises issue, but the game itself is just an endless chore of boring tasks. -

Sep 7, 2016If you are thinking of buying this game, I would recommend you watch some of the cool trailers showing you what is not in the game and don't waste your money on this game that doesn't even deliver the stuff that was talked about and promised in interviews etc before release.

Sep 29, 2016The game is devoid of the features promised by Sean Murray in the build up to this games release. Possibly to the point of being illegal. Do not take the risk on this game as Steam are being very difficult in offering refunds.
The game is poorly executed, badly optimised, hollow with it's only redeeming feature being it's soundtrack and colour palette -

Oct 7, 2016Cuando Compre Este Juego Pensé Que Sería Un Mundo Vivo Enorme E Increíblemente Divertido De Explorar Pero Realmente No Cumplió Con Ese Cometido... No vale la pena

Nov 11, 2016I spent 60 dollars on this game and I feel **** ripped off! What the actual **** is this **** Did I pay for a demo? It's like mgs ground zeroes all over again! What a piece of ****

Aug 19, 2019Bugs, grind , lies, boring, ugly,
This game is astonishingly bad in every possible way. Pointless, boring. Yeah, and lying developer as its apogee. Don't even try to play this **** let it be forgotten. -
Aug 19, 2016If you want a repetitive dull experience where you play the same dull 5 hour game on a continuous loop in a impressively huge but lifeless universe than this is the game for you.
-
Aug 17, 2016
-
Aug 19, 2016What a piece of trash. Overpriced, overhyped, runs terribly even though the game is ugly af. $60 for exploring planets that all look the same, just with different color palette and creatures that use the same assets just connected differently. 1 point only because the game has some really beautiful sights that are breathtaking.
-
Aug 16, 2016The definition of disappointment. Procedurally generated bs by procedurally generated liar, Sean Murray. Just go watch the video called "New disappointment discovered : No Man's Sky". You will understand then. Even SPORE was less disappointing than this. In fact, it's an all around better game, go play SPORE instead.
-
Aug 27, 2016Literally every aspect of this game is shallow and an excellent example of why you NEVER pre-order. There is no redeeming feature in this game beyond an ok color palette and the sheer amount of humor I'm getting from watching it crash and burn under the weight of **** and plain incompetence.

Aug 22, 2016Boredom simulator 2016. I don't know what's more fun, playing this game, or grinding my face on asphalt. Probably the latter. I've never seen such horrible texture pop-in in my entire life.

Aug 25, 2016There is a lot going on here, but the the way the dev's went about lieng about 90% of the game features just cant be supported. Also at $60, said lies should of been in the game and the DLC that was lied about being free, should in fact be free.

Aug 22, 2016This game is so incredible BOOOOOOOOOOOORING!
and repetitive as hell, not to mention his pokemon graphic view
this is not a game worth 60$, his price should be 5$ and developers of this game should beg you 2 days to buy!
Avoid it with all costs! -
Aug 20, 2016Worst game i have ever played.Do not ever buy this game for %90 off.Everything they showed in trailers are a lie.Do not fall for this scam.DO NOT BUY.

Aug 18, 2016Lies, lies and more lies. So many lies.
Sean Murray and Hello Games are laughing their way to the bank.
Anyone who has actually tried it would know that "above average"-reviews are part of the scam.
Total garbage. Not worth 5$. -
Aug 19, 2016It's a crap, very dissapointing. 0 out of 10. The games crashes all the time. I'm very very angry with Hello Games. I wish that they retract and apologies.
-
Aug 27, 2016It runs terribly on even high end rigs. Its worth about $10 and is more of a tech demo than an actual game. I wouldn't advise you to buy the game at a $60 AAA price at all. Actually, don't waste your time playing this boring pos.

Aug 16, 2016If this game can work perfectly, no one can tell the difference because nothing ever happens in it. It was not a game, just one great advertisement campaign and nothing else.
-
Aug 16, 2016The game is just a scam, it is nothing like the promotional videos, it doesnt have any of the features that the lead designer promised and performs exceedingly bad even on high end pcs
whatever you do, do not buy it, it is nothing like the videos they've shown -

Oct 6, 2016I can sum up how bad this game is with this. It's as bad as X Rebirth and the companies that made both games act in equally criminal manners. False advertising all around.
-
Aug 18, 2016This is a scam. The game shown in the trailers simply doesn't exists. 2/3 of the features shown in the trailers were cut. Hello Games must be thankful for Steam and Gog having strong refund policies that allows users to ask for a refund for any reason, otherwise they would have lawsuits pilling up at their mailbox.
-
Aug 17, 2016pros:
Quite funny the first 4 hours
cons:
- overpriced
- planets with no biomes, are all the same after 5 or 6
- no AI at all
- extremely ripetitive and boring
- trading is a joke
- just 10 elements and the most are useless
- this is a bad pre alpha with more bugs then features
- no multiplayer -

Aug 16, 2016What do you get for 60$? A boring, repetitive, and overhyped game. This is what you get for overhyping a game, and now you get No Man's Poop. Also this game is currently broken on pc.

Aug 19, 2016Lying developers and misleading trailers and screenshots. Huge performance issues. Feels slow and repetetive after about 2 hours of gameplay. Definately not worth the pricetag. its a scam, really.

Aug 22, 2016This game is sold as the biggest lie which amounts to the biggest con in pc game history.
They got your money and you who paid got f**ked.

-
Aug 21, 2016Just dont buy it, ever dont support the crooks at hello games. Dont believe any of the promises. They are useless, in 3 years this is all they can come up with, just imagine what they can do with another 3 years. Nothing! It will be the users/moders that make this game playable. Borrow it from a friend, or play it for 2 hours and refund it but paying for this game supports thieves
-
Oct 8, 2016really really boring. takeoff than go to other planet and watch some bad animal mixing . again find fuel for your spaceship and do them again. also awful port on pc

Sep 8, 2016We all had the expectations set at a very high level, it looked really good and promising from the beginning, but it's just not what we saw.
- Bad framerate and stability issues
- Randomly generated worlds gets monsters that makes no sense
- There is not an objective to do besides "exploring"
- Has no multiplayer
- Graphics are underwhelming to say the least -
Sep 10, 2016I've played NMS for a decent amount of time and I can say that it has absolutely no depth whatsoever. It's fairly enjoyable for a couple of hours but after that it's just boring repetitive garbage. Also, the developer is a liar and I am never going to support any game that he is involved in ever again.

Mar 27, 2019Lies! Sean recently said the best feedback was from those who were invested and played over 100 hours in the first week. Well I have a job, was invested, and to this day I'm incredably disappointed in the lies you told and the utter lack of an apology which i believe we all deserve.

Nov 8, 2019A game that killed all expectations! Horrible optimization, bad plot. Few opportunities.
-
Feb 19, 2020Still has not apologized even once for lying and misleading all his fans due to pressures to get an influx of cash. It doesn't matter how much you go back and fix retroactively until you acknowledge misleading everyone.
-

Aug 13, 2016When you charge premium money for a game then people have a right to set reasonable expectations for that kind of experience. No Man's Sky fails to live up to that expectation and publishers should stop trying to get away with it.

Aug 22, 2016The only thing that's ground-breaking about this game is that it's the very first time I've had the desire and motivation to try out the Steam Refund process. Which, unlike this pile of fei-oo, I would rate at 10/10. Thank you, Sean Murray, for this amazing opportunity.
-
Aug 22, 2016Not even worth to pirate.
The worst performance game I have ever played.
None of the developers have even played it.
The game play... doesn't exist.
Get a decent QA team. Releasing software with this amount of bugs and crashes is criminal. -
Aug 22, 2016
-
Aug 16, 2016Overhyped by the Press. Not worth $60 because to less functions, no multiplayer, bad graphics, bad performance, not this what was showing in the Trailer!
This Game is a insolence! -
Aug 22, 2016Horrible. I feel cheated and I want my money back. I've not felt this lied-to in a long while and that's saying something. This game is about 1% of what was promised and falls well short of even reasonable expectations.
-
Aug 18, 2016Horrible pile of excrement sold on lies and **** Pick it up when it's on sale for 15 bucks if you like doing the same things over and over again no matter what planet you land on.
-
Aug 16, 2016Absolute disappointment. Procedurally generated bs by procedurally generated liar, Sean Murray. Just go watch the video called "New disappointment discovered : No Man's Sky". You will understand then.
-
Aug 17, 2016absolutely horrible, 10$ game sold for 60$, requires pentagon rig to play with at least 30fps, google maps 3d view are more exiting that this game
0 for 0 expectations met -

Aug 16, 2016Repetitive tasks, clumsy inventory management, pointless "survival" elements and, to add injury to insult, awful optimization of this PC port. Ask for 60 usd it's too much. An incomplete game that now the developer says will be completed through payed DLC.
-
Aug 20, 2016Una basura!! requisitos exagerados para graficos de ps3 , problemas por todos lados incluso con el parche que salio hoy... no pude pasar del tercer planeta que me aburrio y tambien me canso el mal rendimiento

No Man's Sky
This is one of the most boring games I've played this generation. Even Homefront the Revolution is better with the patches and no I'm no trolling. Travel to random planets, explore, repeat. No sense of progression or actual story line. -
Aug 20, 2016
-
Aug 21, 201644 hours in, I gave up. I was hoping for something much more interesting, there is too much repetition.
Boring and lacking in promise.
Dont waste your time. -
Aug 21, 2016Game gets boring and repetitive after just a few hours, missing lots of features which were promised to be there. The game itself doesn't deserve 0. I'm quite sure some people will find it entertaining, but I'll rate it 0 because of the false advertising and lies from developers, which I'm sure misled many people who bought it.

Pelit (Finland)Oct 11, 2016No Man's Sky breaks the record in falling short of the hype – which is an incredible achievement in the category of super ambitious space games. The huge universe is a repetitive, lifeless and meaningless place, no amount of random generated creatures can change that. The most unforgivable fail is making the spaceship such a pain to fly, which makes exploring the vast universe simply a chore. However, at its best the game is epic and many of the issues should be easy to fix, so this might not be the end of the journey after all. [Sept 2016]
-
PC PowerPlayOct 2, 2016It's partially broken, shallow, repetitive and aimless, but hang me, I still kind of love it. [Issue#255, p.56]
-
Edge MagazineSep 27, 2016While some poorly designed systems and mechanics chip away at your patience, the feeling of flying seamlessly from space down to a peninsula you spotted from orbit never fails to enthrall. [Nov 2016, p.106]
