Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is definitely better than the first one; ...but not by much. There still isn't any voice acting for the characters, the characters roster is questionable (Angry Beavers, Eliza, Darwin, and Ickis are no where to be seen) not to mention JoJo Siwa being a character, and they made Plankton a Pit Crew instead of his signature Mystery Rider vibe from theNickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is definitely better than the first one; ...but not by much. Players can modify their kart stats via car parts (wheels, engine, and, the characters they choose.) so it kinda has that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe vibe to it.
The tracks are bland as well, aside from JoJo Siwa's track, surprisingly which is pretty fun. Also, there are Avatar(Aang and Korra are in this game as well) tracks in this game; which I feel is weird to have Nicktoons characters racing around Avatar based tracks. It feels out of place.
There is also a battle mode, but it only consists of 2 battle tracks. You'll most likely get bored of it pretty fast.
The other thing that is pretty neat about this game is the Pit Crew, which consists of characters from past Nickelodeon installments to assist the player while racing (for example giving the player a boost after getting hit by an item, giving the player an item when they fill up their slime gauge, and giving the player specific-type items (Offensive, Defense, and support), it makes the player thing of strategies of how they want to race. The online is not bad either.
Overall, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2 is a mediocre kart racer. Wait for this game to go on sale before buying it.… Expand
