It is basically a clone of Mario Kart 8, plays exactly the same (same drift mechanics, same trick mechanics) except there is no anti-grav. Still it's 1/4 the price on PC, even less if you get it on sale like I did. Only downside is there are no graphic options, it is either forced 1080p across the board or it just uses your native res. So basically you can either run it or you can't, no fiddling with options to tailor the experience. Still worth it imo!

The game has a FANTASTIC soundtrack as well. Favorite music is what plays in Air Temple Island and Dreamland.

Well in this sequel, take everything bad about the first one, throw it out the window, add some focus, and you get one of the best turnarounds ever! Whereas Nick Kart Racers 1 felt super budgety, was unfocused, and was trying to bite off more than it can chew, you can already tell this sequel is more focused, as it is about the racing and one main racing mode done right! As the controls feel 10x tighter than last time, and with more variety thanks to the crew mechanic. Select specific characters for some buffs, and you get some intense variety not seen in other kart racers, and speaking of characters, the amount of characters is much larger in this game and covers much more of Nick's history! On the downside, while the graphics are definitely so much better, there can still be some parts that could have used a bit more polish, such as the character models. Also, cups still sometimes repeat races, which is sour, and the game still has 0 voice acting, meaning races are still super empty feeling. You can't have SpongeBob without Tom Kenny's voice coming out of him, you just can't! Still, this game improves so much and with the super low price on PC, I recommend you check this game out on PC Full Review »

The title is improvement from the original however there are still fixies that need to come along the way in order for it to become in the TopThe title is improvement from the original however there are still fixies that need to come along the way in order for it to become in the Top 10 kid kart racers, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix on Microsoft Windows is by far the best way to play the title as the developer of the Windows version Toy Box Games already have experience with developing children's Kart Racers anyways back to Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2, the title succeeds the first title is everyway accept when it comes to voice acting in the first title their was no voice acting once so over but instead text box interactions when the character gets hit or attacks the other player however in the sequel there is no voice acting nor the text boxes that were in the first title which is sad as most people including myself were hoping that they'd improve on that, however the roster has grown massively from the first title you now have the selection of 30 playable character's where in the first game you were only allowed to play 12 characters there's also the crew members a feature in where a character that is not playable is able to help you whenever you chose you need it is a small but rather ok feature in the title, and last there is the tracks there is over 28 tracks in the title which allows you to race many times in your favorite places mine would be Ba Sing Se as i found fun and interesting, overall Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix on PC is a fun but rather weird attempt to the Kart genre and deserves a 8/10 in the Red-X Gamer book.
