These include Chimera (an official expansion and mini-sequel to Myth II), various online maps, Assassin! (a stealth scenario set in Feudal Japan), a Wild West map, custom American CIvil War gameplay, and more! With Myth II came mapmaking tools known as Fear & Loathing, which allowed amateurs to create mods for Myth II. While the Myth modding community isn't what it used to be, there is plenty of leftovers from the golden era to enjoy. It is for these custom levels that I would recommend Myth: The Total Codex alone!

However, both Myth and Myth II are both fun and intense games in their own right. Each follows a gripping story built upon rich original lore, engaging in a hopeless war. It is up to the player to make the right strategic choices to win each level because a single defeat would deliver the war into enemy hands.

With these games, I enjoyed everything: the music, the narration, the gameplay, the units, and the lore. I have fondly remembered this game for over twenty years, and it has stood the test of time. If one enjoys 90s games that have aged like fine wine, then Myth: The Total Codex is a must!
