    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Hello. I got minecraft windows 10 beta in August on PC. There are quite a few problems. So I create worlds and then once like 5 to 10 days later one of the worlds wasn't even named anymore. the name just disappeared and it showed like the last time I was in that world, that's it. Another, So I have this really nice amusement park world and today the thing with a no name was there AND its a flat land world and there was this terrain, this different terrain that happened to surround it and I am just so confused and annoyed. It's horrible! I worked so hard on that world and this is what I get? This tall land that is not supposed to be in a FLAT land world in minecraft? WOW! There are other problems too but... a lot. So thanks everyone! Other than that, minecraft is a great game, it's wonderful and creative, you get to make things, build things, do whatever you want, and everything! I recommend it to someone who is creative and like building.… Expand

    Fully immersive sandbox game! Its simplicity and lack of story may not please everyone, but is what makes Minecraft ultimately so compelling and entertaining play after play.

    Lacks graphics but a stress released when you need it. A game where you can do whatever you what, just limited by your creativity and imagination. Great community with mods, mini-games, contraptions and fun servers.

    This game has evolved over time and it contains many good elements. Things that I don't like include the new stone types from 1.8, and the fact that the game uses way too many resources, but hey it's pretty sort of normal these days.
    Eventually the way the game is played becomes nothing more than a routine which makes it tedious but there is still lots of stuff to do in the game.     The negative reviews are from 2-4 years ago and so they're pretty much outdated since the game has really evolved.

Итог: Майнкрафт это отличная песочница, многие ругают её за пиксельную графику, но помоему это наоборот круто! Это пожалуй единственое что отличает её от других surviaval - игр.     Its hard to put my finger on what makes Minecraft special. It was certainly the beginning of an era, and remains one of my favorite games of all time, though I rarely play it anymore. It's singeplayer survival mode is exciting, bold, and adventuresome, but quickly gets tiring and isn't something I would play game after game. For a survival game, Minecraft relies heavily on all features BUTIts hard to put my finger on what makes Minecraft special. It was certainly the beginning of an era, and remains one of my favorite games of all time, though I rarely play it anymore. It's singeplayer survival mode is exciting, bold, and adventuresome, but quickly gets tiring and isn't something I would play game after game. For a survival game, Minecraft relies heavily on all features BUT survival. Its graphics really aren't anywhere near as bad as people make them out, and since now you can change the way everything looks and clean up the environment with resource packs, dissing it for its pixelated graphics is ridiculous. The music is gorgeous, Daniel Rosenfeld is a complete genius, and I often listen to Minecraft's music outside of the game. Its one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. The multiplayer is dashingly fun, but while enhancing it, suffers from the same as the normal survival. Creative is of course a main feature, as building is in the name of the game here. And a great building system it is, as you can create some truly astonishing architecture, and take it a step further to design almost anything in creation, and then some, with command blocks. Custom maps go a step further and add the ability to share community created "levels", from parkour platformers to puzzle chambers to horror maps (and there are some VERY scary ones) to back-to-basics with a twist survival maps. Mods are probably more diverse for Minecraft than any other game, enhancing the experience a million times over and creating a never ending game. But the biggest shine for Minecraft, for me, is the dedicated servers. ANY sort of game, through plugins, right at the fingertips. The pure social interactivity makes the experience 3x longer. It has to be said though, the quality of the community has dropped dramatically in the last few years, with invasions of immature children being brought in by certain kid-based youtubers. However, there are plenty of wonderful people and youtubers alike out there to counter them. Overall, Minecraft kept me occupied for 3 years straight, and I still boot it up every once and again. For the price you pay for unlimited fun, its the most worthwhile $35 you'll ever spend.… Expand

    I think this game is full of creativity with nice open worlds that you could explore in creative mode you could choose to make your own house, buildings halls, maze, train station and caves. In survival mode you have to get your own materials, minerals, and ores. also depending on which mode you choose easy medium or hard.

    I personally think That Minecraft is a Good game. i think almost any gamer will like it. Thats why i gave it a 10/10. Awesome game, Mojang! Its evolved from Grass and Stone To Servers, Multiplayer, Skins, And many other Fancy Things!

    I really like this game because it's totally free ! You want a giant represantation of you ? BUILD IT ! But, if you want to do do something faithful to the model, you need thousands of blocks ! That's why I give to do game only eight, the game is cool, but you need thousands of blocks to do a single construction.

    Minecraft is a game of pluses and minuses. Every time something good or special shows itself, something, usually from the fan base, pops up and ruins everything.

    Minecraft, i find, is most fun with some friends in survival or creating something in creative. Single player survival can be boring after a bit. after issue is the online player base should you not have any online friends, as it's mostly 12 year old scum, 6 year old try hards, and 30 something people riding that youtube money train. Many of the mini game modes on it are empty on american servers, as survival games (think hunger games but worse) and factions (think some mmo with clans but worse) are the popular ones as of late. Voice chat would be nice, as way too many times have i and others been killed before we could speak.

    Another thing is the nature of the game, as it runs off java, which for those 12 and under, was a basic programming code and a old 3d web browser game thing like flash was for 2d stuff. Java by this point has gone senile, a glitch randomly occurring which basically bricks your game, preventing little timmy from smashing his mother's acer facebook machine like a very colorful pinata... oh hell, that would still happen.

    Honestly, if you have some friends and wait a bit for 1.10's java issues, minecraft would be a blast, but if you're looking for a fun single player or online with randos experience, looking elsewhere would be advised.

    (Update, It's long since fixed itself. My anger from My teenage years has subsided. Is cool.)    … Expand

    Minecraft is also a great game for all types of gamers. Minecraft may have introduced the aforementioned elder to the wide world of gaming and converted them into a casual gamer.
    It also provides fun addition to the shelves of core gamers (like myself)
    But it is also the perfect game in a tournament for hardcore players.
    Minecraft is not a game as much as a cultural revolution, with many Youtubers making a living from playing what's widely believed to be a kids game...

    I have to say I took some time to take interest for this game, but I'm glad I did. It seemed ugly and for children, than I started playing and for a month I would do nothing else in my life. This game is unique, and although some people prase it's online features, the main quest really did it for me.     Caught my attention how I thought this would be a more casual game, and then I was afraid inside a dungeon, terrified in the nether, that I would call hell at the time, making provisions, walking slowly... This game is capable of bringing tension without constant combat, it's all about atmosphere, and although visually it seems simple and childish, this game is very deep, the funny monsters can be terrifying inside a dark cave. The last boss was very well thought, definitively not hard, but having not to look to any endermen brings an almost mystic experience to this battle. The game is borderline unplayable due to how ugly it is without graphical enhancement mods. Also, the updates since 1.6.4 have been mostly unnecessary. I would give this game 86 out of 100, even though it is my favorite game to play.     A game ripped straight out of my childhood, this game does still hold up. The game's creative mode is the one I play mostly when I boot up the game. It's calming to building something, with the soothing soundtrack that supports it. Survival is also fun to play, but I only do so with friends, as the experience skyrockets during multiplayer.     Minecraft was my childhood, along with roblox and club penguin. The game is similar to the others in a way that you can always go there to have a laugh, except when you find those annoying 10 year olds.

    This game is absolutely incredible! Build a skyscraper, build a Redstone contraption, survive the incredible adventure that is survival mode, play on servers and meet new people, and a lot of other things. EPIC

Ótimas mecânicas de construção, grande variedade de materiais e inimigos, mecânicas de combate legais, mecânicas como a redstone, outros mundos e minérios para buscar. O jogo continuar popular depois de uma década não é atoa. No todo, um dos melhores jogos não só do século.

    This Game featured in a block universe contains many elements of survival, Graphics, etc. It includes countless upgrades and a large inventory. The game is still continuing to be updated for the hololens and other platforms.

    Although their improvements nowadays are odd, and their AI's could be better. Mojang/Microsoft's Minecraft hits it out of the park when it comes to creativity, imagination, preparation, and survival. This game is nothing short of a masterpiece.

    The item or block features are pretty simple,but they do have their own law to make this block world vivid.this is the most charming things for me.It has duplicated another world which has no stress no sorrow and always made me grin.
    Let's talk about the music by C418.The music doing a great job to reflect the loneliness and silent which are stick to the gameplay.they have become my favorite music right now and I cant fall asleep without listening the album XD.
    Yet this game is adding more and more new features.With those update,the fun is continued.Excellent job Mojang!

    I bought Minecraft in 2013. I just stopped playing it this year, in 2018. 5 YEARS. That is how long I spent on this game. And the only mods I have ever used are Optifine and the Epicarno Mod. It says a lot about how much this game can offer. Now for my review of everything in the game.

    I hate the idiots who say: “MInEcraFT HAs bAd GraPhICs, sO I HatE It sO mUcH!” The graphics are a matter of personal preference, but since resource packs exist, that argument is kind of invalid. I don’t what your situation is, but I personally enjoyed the aesthetic of the game.

    The Story:
    Non-existent in a good way. Next!

    The Combat:
    The basic combat is pretty complex stuff, as you can tailor your playstyle around a variety of weapons. There are swords (basic, everyday weapons), axes (high damage, slow speed), pickaxes (breaks armour faster), bows (ranged alternative), and most recently, tridents (throwing weapons).

    The Building:
    The best gameplay aspect. Tons of blocks, infinite possibilities. I don’t see why people would hate on Minecraft other than to make themselves look cool. (I know, the community sucks. But that isn’t the game itself, that is the people playing it. Jeez.) Plus, the holy grail of all blocks, the Command Block, is in the game. You can essentially use Minecraft code in order to summon monsters, give yourself items, and even change how the game plays. The imagination really is your only limit.

    The Multiplayer:
    Mojang (and Microsoft), have pretty bad server connection. It can take ages to log onto servers for some people. I never really ran into this though, and my internet isn’t the stuff of your wildest dreams. The servers are amazing in this game, and I have made many friends by playing on servers such as Hypixel and Cubecraft.

    Basically, this game has actually changed my life and changed the way I think. This masterpiece deserves the 10/10. My only complaint is that Microsoft seems to add trivial features all of the time.    … Expand

    Everything is amazing. The number of things to find, craft, explore, and do is overwhelming at times, and the possibilities are near endless. A unique style and amazing music only improve the experience as a whole.

    I don't think the lack of a story is anything bad as the game isn't one that should have a story. It's more so about the player's decision to do whatever they want.     Then we have the multiplayer. The servers are a great addition to a great single-player game, and grants even more fun to be had, especially with friends. With LAN, you can also play with your friends on your single-player saves, which makes the game much more fun to play.

    The game is truly a masterpiece, and I recommend it for anyone. It is definitely a must-play for everyone.    … Expand

Wish this would go by itself. Just start the game, it scans for updates and downloads them + reinstalls them by itself. Guess this will never happen so yeah.     Minecraft used to be a perfect game, a 10/10 for me. This was before Microsoft stepped in and completely f****d everything up. Instead of the updates adding necessary features to the game, now, they feel completely unnecessary. The prime example for this would be the unnecessary texture changes that for a huge majority, look worse than the original textures. And, despite having simplistic graphics, the game is incredibly immersive and has a very believable world even with the gravity defying physics and the fact that you can build a portal to "Hell." Minecraft is one of the first PC games I ever played and still remains as my favorite open world survival game, it's just the recent changes and the community that bogs it down from being 10/10 for me.… Expand

The villagers are also interesting, they really make the player feel alone in single player, as they can't communicate with anything other than grunts.     I will never not return to Minecraft. While I experience some ups and downs, I will forever be fond of my memories of the game, my friends and brother playing together. Unless Mojang breaks the game, I will return to it to play a little even after it's abandoned. The game and its community shaped my childhood and made me the gamer I am now.

Open world games like breath of the wild or GTA are often praised for the amount of openness and freedom you can have but neither of these games are truly able to compete with Minecraft in these categories. Minecraft is so good of a sandbox game to the point where the lines between it being a video game and a tool are blurred. Basically what I'm trying say is that its the best game of all time.

    You will lose track of time playing this game. It is insanely amazing with others. Likely one of the best games to play with friends. I played it for the first time YEARS ago and played it randomly with a group a few months ago. It is a timeless game in my opinion. A game that I keep coming back to.

The survival mode is where you have limited resources around the map and must go and mine, craft dig and shovel, etc and if you have enabled “easy, medium, hard” you must fight monsters that try to go near you. The hardcore mode of the game is where things get really difficult, because once you die, your world gets deleted and you have no chance of respawning.
    There are also mini games on the Wii U, Xbox, and PS4 versions of the game called Tumble, Battle and Glide. Tumble is a free game which is basically spleef, where you use shovels and snowballs to make players fall off the platform. The last standing person wins.
    Battle is basically like hunger games, just with less players and smaller map size. Depending on how many players are in the game, the maps will expand to fit that amount of players. You go find items such as swords and bows and use them to defend yourself from other players. Battle royals, last one standing wins.
    Glide Is by far the least fun, however it still can be really fun on your own. The glide mode requires a lot of practice and you use wings to glide and navigate your way around the map until you reach the finish line. There are boosters hidden around the map that allow you to take shortcuts or get that extra speed boost. With other players it is a race.

    You can customize your character in the form of skins(some you have to pay for on all versions) or create your own on the Pc or Pocket editions.

    Other players on the pc version can start servers where you can find other people and mini games. The most popular are Hypixel, Lifeboat, anything pvp related and much more.    … Expand

    This game is the epitome of freedom and value. On top of having a bountiful base game, the use of mods and many fun servers keeps the game fresh and easy to come back to. The simplicity allows anyone to understand and make their experience their own allowing for anyone to let their creativity flow in their own way.

They are both fun game modes but that's not all. There are also chances to play with friends either on the same console or online, plus there are things called servers that were made by people so that you can play minigames or other activities that they have designed. The graphics are a good call back to the 8-Bit graphics of the NES, and the gameplay is smooth and the controls are even better with them being simple to use and understand. Overall if your looking for a fun sometimes family friendly game then this perfect for you. There is no wonder why its one of the best selling games of all time… Expand

    This game is absolutely godlike. No game compares to it (except for Smash Bros, both equally amazing games.) The graphics are amazing for a game made of nothing but cubes. The small details of Minecraft just makes it that much better, such as the dinnerbone easter egg. Another great thing about this game is the community.     There is really no other game (apart than Rimworld) that has the mod support and community of Minecraft. It is so vast and wide, if can be a single player, building game, multiplayer, PvP game, questing, its just fantastic. There is so much to do in modded you could spend your life in this one game alone. If you don't play it... well nuff said.

    The 1.0 version of the indie phenomena is still obviously unfinished and flawed in many ways, but it's so easy to forget that when you're building your dream castle, exploring scary caves and vast mountain ranges and having a great time in its blocky world.
