Dec 5, 2022One of the best tactical RPGs I've ever played. Intuitive card-based combat that makes each hero feel unique. This on top of the character development makes you feel like you are part of the Marvel universe.

Dec 11, 2022Best Marvel game in ages! Don't let these low scores fool you, this a lot of game for your money, easily a 75 hour play through.
-
Dec 3, 2022Marvel Fan-servicing lore is generously delivered between missions akin to Fire Emblem: Four Houses. Add in the addictive, and very satisfying flashy, tactical combat and you have a game that serves as a fantastic addition to the ARPG genre.

Mar 5, 2023Best tactical game that involves Marvel heroes!
If you enjoy Persona games, Fire Emblem and Xcom, then this game is for you.
If you haven't played any turn based tactics games before- this is a great introduction to the genre. -

Jan 5, 2023Hands down the best Marvel game to come out since Ultimate Alliance. Don’t let the card aspect of the game put you off. Immediately wanted to replay it when I beat it, but am gonna wait until all the DLC comes out. Bought the legendary edition at launch for full price, and it’s worth every penny. 11/10

Jan 23, 2023It had a little bit of a buggy start, but the most recent patches have it running solid on the steam deck. The Deadpool DLC has been a ton of fun. The game play loop is super addictive and has me perpetually saying ok just one more battle.

Apr 16, 2023Firstly. This isn't XCOM. Lovely game with a good story. Fantastic ending. Fun gameplay. If anything it's too long but you can rush the story if you want.

Dec 3, 2022Very good story and the figths are fun. Must play for a Marvel fan. I find it good, I do not only have to play an endless chain of fights. I can roam around, talk to people and learn more and new things about each character.

Dec 3, 2022After 9h of game play I just can't describe how much I enjoyed this game. At first I thought it would be just another card game, but it's much more than that. The fact that you can interact and level up the friendship with all heroes is amazing. So far so good.

Jan 5, 2023I immensely enjoy both the Abbey adventure part/friendship building and the strategy game part. More of this please.
Came across some framerate issues in the abbey but nothing too bad. Framerate dropped to 25fps during final boss encounter and just stubbornly stayed there, but fixed with a reload. Would be nice if Firaxis fix it.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 24, 2024The fights are very specific, tactical and surprisingly fun and often challenging, even knowing that a fallen hero can be put back on his feet on the spot during a fight and used in the rest of the encounter. [Issue#324]

Jun 5, 2023In spite of its technical issues, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is an easy recommendation to strategy and superhero fans or anyone who’s been missing the more traditional BioWare experience. Its tactical combat stands out in the genre and is consistently compelling. The plot is no great shakes but the characters are excellent renditions of decades-old favorites. It’s also a well-paced game, never getting bogged down in any one form of play for too long but free-form enough to allow for players to do that if they wish. Not only is Midnight Suns a great Marvel game, it’s a great game in its own right.

Feb 14, 2023While I wasn’t really sold on Marvel’s Midnight Suns pre-release, it has continued to impress me more as I played through the story, and it is chock full of a ton of optional content that will keep you busy for a very long time. It wasn’t a great experience around launch on PC, but Marvel’s Midnight Suns is well worth your time right now, and a joy to play on Steam Deck. It already felt like a perfect fit for Steam Deck from the start, and it has finally been fixed for Valve’s portable system with a recent update.
