    **** port. locked at 30 fps, options are barebones, crashes, and controls are clunky. Not worth the money currently, luckily steam refunds are a thing.

    I can get by with the graphics BUT NOT THE AI. Is it me or have games become a joke anymore.
    Game companies know the deal......you can pretty much put out anything and the masses will buy it.
    NO MAN SKY anyone..........thank god for steam refunds lol!

    It is almost the worst game i have ever played. Bad console port. Garbage. Graphics is outdated, AI is stupid. Controls are broken. Don't buy this game atm.

    Incredible. I thought this was suppose to be AAA game, but it came out as a heavy caliber Z grade game. Gameplay is extremely poor with no headroom whatsoever for repairs in future patches. Gameplay is simply super bad. They must've re-worked whole engine from bottom up and it was a bad bad move. Mafia and II are legends. Mafia III is a super failure.     Graphics are total **** it feels like a budget game from Unity engine, made by team of two to three people. Sounds, music and script is below mediocre. I'm still playing Witcher 3 and I was expecting something on similiar level. But I was so wrong, so badly wrong.

    When I move in the game, it feels like they barely used some motion capture technologies for the character movement, or some more advanced physics engine for rigging and motion of characters. When I remember some tech videos from 10 years ago, they had better technologies used for character motion than Mafia III alltogether.

    Music is really weak, leaves no emotion in You.

    Character performance is very poor due to weak facial expressions [afaik, games like this are all about facial expressions] and a lot of bugs in graphic is taking it's toll in the game atmosphere.

    Ai and enemy movement is superbly dull. It's totally worthless taking stealth approach in missions, since when You wreak havoc, You only need some basic counter-strike skill to pass through enemies.

    Overall this game is definitely not worth Your time, money, nor energy spent playing it.

    Go and play tetris, mines, or Pokémon Go, rather than Mafia III. This game is super bad. And not because of frame lock, I'm writing the review playing the game on 60 fps cap.

    Oh, and another thing. I naively thought that Asus X99 Deluxe II, Core i7 6850k @ 4.7 GHz, 32 gigs of RAM, 1.2TB Intel 750 SSD NVMe PCi-e drive with humongous throughput all powered by MSi GTX 1080 SeaHawk X will at least give me an option to play the game on high details in 2k. Well, here's the newsflash. I can't in play it in full HD xD

    If You bought this game, throw it to the trash, or return it. It's a bad game overall and as I wrote in the beginning, there's absolutely and whatsoever no headroom for improvement. They'd have to rework it from scratch, maybe some GOTY, or remaster will do the trick, but nothing in following months.    … Expand

    Ok so it has a 30FPS lock, crashes fequently and looks worse then anything I have played in years, wow this is a dissapointment. Do not buy this game!!

    This screams of a console port - 30 FPS lock, broken beyond belief, average graphics, limited options to improve said graphics and wonky performance. Do not buy this. Send a message and get it on sale.

    30 FPS LOCK and constant crashes on a PC game in 2016. Looks like the game's running on a PS3 emulator with vaseline smeared all over the screen. Another Quantum Break. So disappointing.

    Freezes, bugs and crashes. It is totally impossible to play. Graphics from 2010 and such bugs and FPS dpops.
    Horrible console port.
    Not worth a penny.

    This game is garbage. Boring, bugged, ugly. They just recreate Mafia 2 DLCs. Even more! Those DLCs are playable than Mafia 3. Just don't waste your money and time.

Как у человека без опыта вождения, "симуляторный" режим управления вызывает приятные эмоции. У "Мафии" есть даже какая-то завязка сюжета, хотя мстящий супермен, которого и пуля в голову не берет, вызываетЯ люблю 60-е. Люблю здоровенные, ревущие, мощные "баржи", оружие, которое выглядит как оружие - суровое весло M16A1, АК-47, рок-н-ролл, атмосферу южных штатов и это в "Мафии 3" есть. Как у человека без опыта вождения, "симуляторный" режим управления вызывает приятные эмоции. У "Мафии" есть даже какая-то завязка сюжета, хотя мстящий супермен, которого и пуля в голову не берет, вызывает меньше сопереживаний, чем тот же Вито. Наличествует приятная лицевая анимация, сочные кровавые убийства в рукопашной и, в общем-то, сносная графика по меркам простого обывателя. А объекты слежки наконец стали реагировать на нарушение главным героем правил ПДД и подозрительные остановки посреди дороги. С другой стороны, автомобиль, за рулем которого здоровенный негр в военной форме, следующий по пятам вот уже который поворот, вполне ожидаемо не вызывает подозрений.

    А вот чего нет, так это оптимизации, патч с анлоком фпс только показал истинное лицо - 30-40 фпс на GTX970 на средних настройках, выше только в исключительных случаях. Нет целого ряда мелочей, которые делают мир игры живым. Можно списать, конечно, отсутствие возможности вскрыть замок автомобиля на то, что Линкольн не профессиональный угонщик, хотя с другими замками он разбирается без проблем. Или стремление полицейских пристрелить чернокожего водителя за поцарапанный бампер можно обусловить традиционным для того времени расизмом, хотя стоит задуматься о лени разработчиков. На эту самую лень указывает целый ряд вещей. У путей можно стоять до второго пришествия - поездов в мире игры нет. Как и осколков стекла и стреляных гильз. Зеркала словно из фильма ужасов, изображение в них искажено и обновляется весьма неожиданно. Сверкающий хром? Не, не видели. Написать скрипт, чтобы полиция реагировала на происходяще реалистично? Зачем, если можно просто сообщить игроку, что она куплена и заведомо настроена только против него. Мелкие детали при вождении автомобиля, в духе штрафов за превышение скорости, механической коробки передач, кончающегося бензина или работающих поворотников, утрачены с первой части окончательно. Как и модель повреждения этих самых автомобилей. Но большинство из этого можно было бы простить, будь у игры захватывающий сюжет. Но и тут не обошлось без удара ниже пояса. Сюжет-то есть. Только он безбожно порезан на мелкие части и щедро разбавлен однообразным процессом захвата районов по примерно одной и той же схеме. Снова лень, лень придумывать длинный сюжет, чтобы удержать игрока на десятки часов? Да и качеством не отличается, честно сказать. Убийство Марти во второй части было трагедией, смерть второстепенных героев здесь вызывает куда меньше эмоций, слишком уж слабо они прописаны. И подобное отношение к написанию сценария встречается буквально на каждом шагу.

    С горечью на сердце могу констатировать, что пациент хоть и скорее жив, но находится в вегетативном состоянии. Задуматься о покупке стоит только большим любителям эпохи 60-х. А вот фанатам серии не стоит, это плевок в душу.    … Expand

    The picture is blurry and it looks like a very old game. I have the GTX 1080 so this is bad and it´s not ok. This is a sad day for pc gamers all over the world. Another developer who releases an unfinished game or were not qualified enough to make a playable game. The Game developers just released a big POO and i bought it. ;(

    I was looking forward to this game and i am deeply disappointed.

    ... so as soon as the game got released, i installed it and started playing, and to be honest i didnt expect the game to be as good as the previous just by watching the game play trailers, but i did expect the game to be atleast half as good as Mafia 1 or 2, and man i was wrong.. This game is just a disaster, the gameplay is just sad, and can't be compared with Mafia 2. the AI is **** as if they didnt feel like scripting it properly, the story is boring, i could have lived with the 30fps, as long as the game would be good, but sadly even if they fix that the game will still be sad, i took a day off work to play Mafia 3 the whole day, and i turned the game down after 2 hours, i just had enough, i've waited a long time for this game and i'm very disappointed, they shouldn't even have named this game Mafia3 .    … Expand

    -Changeg "fire" button in options by mistake, then swithed back for default but could not shoot after that on both hot keys...

    Mafia 3 is a return to the first part of the Mafia, and even worse. There is no such feature in action playing as: fuel the car, do not remain objects on the ground sleeve of bullets, pieces of glass, even the smoke from under the wheels of cars modest. Mafia 2 was much more serious and plausible Igor and Mafia 3 is a misery. Pazor developers !!!

    DO NOT BUY! In 5 hours I experienced 4 crashes, 2 times the entire PC crashed and the last one corrupted my savegame. The game is not optimized at all and even the actual game itself obviously was not finished.

    This is a lazy copy&paste port and it's release in this state is inexcusable. Shame on you 2K!

    Folks however bored you get, however curious(or brave) you are, however many laughs you THINK you will get out of this game, please DO NOT BUY THIS. It has literally ruined my life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

    Comment to the producer: I hate you. You have ruined my life. After playing this I feel empty inside. My wife and kids have left me and hate me because I couldn't speak or hardly move after playing this. I lost my job, my dignity, and above all my pride.     This is not a game actually. It is 5 missions and 100+ checkpoints in the middle. Routine and bugs from the start to the end. Do not fun at all. Let's play something else

    very bad game, by bad company! the developers did not care about consumers, they thought only of the benefit. monotonous game primetivnym geypleem, terrible graphics, lock in the physics of cars 30fps.uzhasneyshaya many bugs, etc. Hoping hangar13 company ruined !!!!

The graphics are 1990s at best, the game has clearly been rushed throughout and there is nothing good to even say about it. it is safe to say Hanger 13 have well and truly ruined their reputation with their first effort of a game, maybe they should have stuck to a game that is on their level like pong maybe?

    My review stands on par with the rest of the bad reviews posted here. Have been let down very badly by 2k games and their piece of **** Mafia 3. Mafia 2 was way better and had left me in lot of hopes on this one which they have let down.
    I recommend every gamer to not buy or download this stupid game and play and waste time.

    This is game about a complexed racial afro shooting and burning and running over innocent white females and men. Its a game made with hate in mind. Shame it has a real good soundtrack, but i wont let my kids play it. It has NOTHING to do with a "Mafia" game, just the name.

    This doesn't even feel iike a Mafia game. Luckily I didn't end up getting this when it first came out and waited until playstation gave it out for free as a 'free game of the month'. I could say this is the only way getting this game would be worth it. Very buggy, dated textures, boring and repetitive mission structure, also a lot more political in nature than i'd care for. Seems like moreThis doesn't even feel iike a Mafia game. Luckily I didn't end up getting this when it first came out and waited until playstation gave it out for free as a 'free game of the month'. I could say this is the only way getting this game would be worth it. Very buggy, dated textures, boring and repetitive mission structure, also a lot more political in nature than i'd care for. Seems like more of a way 2k cashed in on a successful franchise for quick easy bucks than a true & honest 3rd installment of the franchise. Very disappointing.… Expand

    İlk çıkan Mafia 1 bundan kat ve kat daha iyiydi. Oyun ne grafiğiyle, ne oynanışıyla, ne de başka bir mekaniği ile ortaya bir fark koyuyor. Kısacası bu oyundan veya Hangar13'ten uzak durun. Birde ana karakterimizi mafyadan biri göstermek için oyun başındaki gereksiz peder babasının İtalyan olabileceğini söylüyor :D

    This game have no story its awful the 1-2 hour was good but the other missions are CRAP like do the samething again again again

    Booooooooring repetitive missions just to extend the absolute lamest story ever upto 20 hours and then gets you stuck on a glitch. 110% would never touch another game in this series

    Buggy, slow, game breaking glitches, played 80% through the main and additional content but couldn't persevere to the end after my so many glitches and mission halting bugs. Got over it and not even that great a game when it actually did work...

    Piece of **** SJW game which try to push their politics down your throat. Not to be confused with two of the best games ever - Mafia I and Mafia II. Uninstalled after a few hours.

    en un principio me parecia regular pero despues de 4 años lo volvi a jugar me parece adictivo la ambientacion una de las mejores bandas sonoras de los videojuegos

    Hum. What a shame on this one. Again game from 20+ years (Mafia Definitive Edition, I & II) are so much more enjoyable. You can really compare the both era of those dev studio. How shameful it is to release this after the two masterpiece. I mean.. for me it’s just not a Mafia. We are waiting for a Mafia III one day :)

    Mafia III isn’t necessarily a bad game, but it is definitely not a true heir to the Mafia series. The story is rich and the gameplay is satisfying (although it’s nothing special), but having played the previous games in the series (especially the first one), I never felt like I was playing a Mafia game.
