    Malestrom is a battle royale characterized by frenetic rhythms and good tactical depth. Given the youth it is a bit poor in content and has some bugs, but overall it is a good F2P.

    The visuals are decent (solid) and the physics of the water are very nice. For Pc nerds... this game has a great example    where to start...

    The visuals are decent (solid) and the physics of the water are very nice. For Pc nerds... this game has a great example of the physx feature. For a free to play title the pay system is unobtrusive and you can try pretty much all the ships and skills in a couple of hours. And thats the main problem. The game servers are empty, because after a couple of hours of solid fun, there is nothing to pull you back. Even at primetime hours the free for all games are filled with bots and almost no humans players are present.

    Thats a bit sad, because otherwise the mechanics are really nice and the idea of sea battles pretty innovative.

    When you are playing with a couple of friends I think its a great relaxation as the gameplay is smooth and the map and ships well balanced and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to at least try it. But the lack of human players is a bit disturbing. I think that the devs did a great job, its a shame that it seems that it didn't catch on. Probably better promo would help?    … Expand
