Jun 21, 2020Little Misfortune is a decent little adventure game. It has a slightly dark and decent story. Unfortunately some of that gets lost in the rather bad voice acting for Miss Fortune (the "voice" is pretty good though!) and the (two?) instances of out-of-place potty humor.

Playtime: 3h
Enjoyment: 6/10
Recommendation: It was alright, good for a quick play through. -
Dec 29, 2020Pretty interesting, wacky game. It was kinda slow at parts and the final explanation for everything wasn't as satisfying as it could've been, but this game really shines in terms of the characters and the voice acting.

Sep 22, 2019The gameplay is pretty much walking and interacting with stuffs but i really enjoyed the voice acting and the story. Its short but worth the money buy at full price if you are into story-character focused games with barely any gameplay and good voice acting

Dec 16, 2019Right now, Little Misfortune is at the top of my personal list of bitter disappointments of 2019. I would have overlooked many of its flaws, if it were just a pilot episode in a series. Alas, this is a finished product.

CD-ActionOct 25, 2019The story made me uneasy not because I thought: ‘those are the kind of things that shouldn’t be said out loud’ but because I thought: ‘it’s unsettling how poorly it is written, how badly they depicted a child’s naivety and how everything is just too over the top’. Sep 30, 2019Dark humour is used liberally throughout Little Misfortune’s exploration of bleak themes. Half of the time, you don’t know whether to laugh or recoil in horror. Either way, it’s easy to become absorbed in the plight of our little heroine. It’s pretty short for the price of admission and arguably a little too much of a cinch to play, but a loveably weird tale all the same.
