You play as Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, a little girl with unfortunate luck. Following her new friend, Mr. Voice she sets out on an adventure to find eternal happiness, which she intends on giving to her mommy. For every action, there is a consequence and Misfortune is about to learn about this cosmic law. Mr. Voice sets Misfortune out on her first quest, to leave the house. She then makes her way through the streets of her home town Openfields, and then out into the wilderness of Sweden. You control Misfortune left or right, and make decisions for her along the way. Every choice you make has bearing on the overall outcome of the game. You sometimes control Misfortunes' hand in mini-games like at the beginning when you fix the vase you knock over. Lastly, and maybe most important is you bring glitter with you, so you can sparkle everything unhappy, and make it happy. The voicing is wonderful, and the commentary during the game ranges from cringy to just the right amount of snark, and you will find yourself smiling if you enjoy darker humor. Little Misfortune is an enjoyable game and will do great in the collections of those with slightly darker tastes. Expand
