    I played this game with my girlfriend, we were both very touched with the story and characters, you fall in love with them in a way only videogames are capable making you fall in love with fictional characters.

    Easily the most emotional game I've ever played. This is coming from someone who has been playing pc games for over 16 years. The way this game sucks you into the narrative, the way you get attached to the characters and genuinely care about them and their well-being(Chloe). It's something else really. Life is Strange is by far one of my favorite games, it has a great story, the mechanics are wonderful and blend perfectly with the story, and the characters are great. This game's story is amazing, telling the story of a young woman learning about life. I don't want to go into the story that much because the best way to experience the game is by going in blind. The twists are memorable, and the story is touching and a emotional roller coaster. The gameplay is pretty good, the puzzles are fun to engage in and to solve. Although I feel like there more could ave been done with it, I still feel like what we are given is great. The telltale like gameplay is also great with the choices you make actually making a difference in the story, although in the last episode *spoiler* I feel like the last choice deciding the ending is a bit disappointing.     I'm lost for words in this game, the feels, I think it's perfectly made, thumbs up for the creator and those who work on this game, really. This game is stuck in my head everywhere I go. I feel terrible for buying this game so cheap. I'm more of a Fps,moba and mmorpg type of player so when I first bought this game, I really didn't care at it first. Life is Strange over the course of the 5 episodes had me laughing, crying, and, at times, panicking, all over fictional characters who I had only known for a few hours.     This game is an absolute masterpiece and every single person in this universe needs to play through it at least once.     The game features a non-linear story where your every choice matters, and I was simply amazed with how Dontnod managed to make it you feel like every choice is a bad choice. Brilliant!

    I can't wait to replay this game to see how the story pans out with the choices I didn't originally make. And I can't wait to show the game to my girlfriend to make her see that the gaming industry is not just Super Mario and League of Legends. I can't wait to see her squirm every time she needs to make a tough choice, and to hug her every time she cries after every episode.

    This game really left me with the feeling of awe and wonder of how brilliant game designers can be, and playing anything else after this feels utterly pointless... So much emotions to process!    … Expand

    This game was amazing. I envy those who are now able to play all the episodes at once instead of waiting months in between. I have always loved deep emotional story lines. This is one of the games that you play through the story. This is a much more immersive experience than just watching a movie. The depth of the story grows to be epic.     This game "hella" rocks! I really don't know where to start. Soundtracks? CHECK. Story? CHECK. Gameplay? CHECK. All of the characters' psychologies are well-reflected. Once you hate a character, then you can cry for him. This game is story-based, so for some players it may be bored, but if you search for a STORY RICH game then you definitely buy it. You will be addicted to it.

    Я не знаю, что ещё можно написать, особенно на английском. Но эта игра действительно стоит тех 21 часов, которые я на неё потратил. Я бы с радостью играл ещё и ещё, но, к сожалению, сюжет закончился.

The characters, the story, the music, the atmosphere, the world created in game. Everything is perfect. I don't remember being so moved multiple times during walkthrough in ANY other game I played in my life. A masterpiece. Can'tOne of the very best and most memorable gaming experiences of my life.     Beyond a shadow of a doubt this is one of the greatest achievements in the history of storytelling. This game broke my heart and I love it even more because of that. Easily 10 out of 10 and a badass seal of approval.

    Life is Strange tells a story about Max and Chloe's journey to finding out the secrets of Rachel, a dear friend of theirs. The game has great graphics, underscores the touching theme of friendship, and the twist is so thrilling it even bests many movies.

If you are into deep story, with well developed characters..f**k it man - if u are into brilliant games (rhetorical question lol)..just play this game.     Insanely entertaining, emotionally deep and well crafted story game based on decisions with a fun supernatural element. The characters are well written and fleshed out and the game moves along at a nice pace. The climax is satisfying and, while a bit predictable, well executed.

La BSO merece una especial mención porque es FANTÁSTICA, simplemente ver a Max tocando la guitarra es un gozada para los oídos y los temas finales de los capítulos están a muy buen nivel.

    Si nos ponemos hablar a nivel jugable, esto NO TIENE NADA QUE VER con los juegos de Telltale Games. Tampoco es que sea una aventura gráfica de la vieja escuela...NI POR ASOMO, pero sí que es verdad que te da una libertad de exploración que les hace quedar en ridículo cualquier juego del mismo género que se hace hoy en día. Los puzzles son sencillos, pero como muchas veces pasa en otros juegos, el encanto no reside en la dificultad sino en las mecánicas jugables que utilices para la resolución de estos y os puedo decir que el rollo de manejar el tiempo a tu antojo es una gozada y hace que sean muy entretenidos en su resolución.

    Gráficamente es hermoso, realista y con una paleta de colores vivos otoñales que en conjunto hace que este juego tenga una apartado técnico muy especial.

    Y bueno...creo que lo dejaré aquí porque no quiero spoilear nada más ni de la historia, ni de la jugabilidad. Solo decir que si sois aquellos que os gustan aquellos juegos que vayan más allá del entretenimiento y os gustan las experiencias emotivas fuertes en ellos...de parte de un tío que siempre ha sido más de diversión que de historias...este juego es una O-BRA MA-ES-TRA. Y que voy a empezar otra vez la historia tomando otras decisiones, NO SÉ CUANDO, pero lo haré XD. Por lo menos probar el primer capítulo...que en Steam ES GRATIS.    … Expand

    One of my favorite games. It have lots of flaws but it is beautifully told and it quite a nice story. If you look for a exciting gaming experience I do not think this is the game for you. If you want a nice told slightly mystic story about teenagers I think you would enjoy it.

    This game made me more emotional than any other game, film or book I've ever played, watched or read. After finishing it, I could barely sleep or work for several days. A year on, I still get shivers every time I see a screenshot or gif from it. I don't know what this game did to me, or how, but what I do know is that it's **** perfect.

    Начну с того, что это потрясающая игра, жанр интерактивного кино я пробовал впервые и не прогадал.
    Игра постоянно ставит игрока перед выбором и оставаться в стороне не получится. Эмоцианальное и психологическое давление сопровождает всю игру, но именно это позволяет прочувствовать серьёзность происходящего, тщательно думать, как поступить, кому помочь, что сделать. Живые и интересные персонажи, как главные, так и второстепенные, со своими заморочками и только ты можешь им помочь. По мере прохождения игры, я много раз проводил параллели с реальным миром, в плане того, что каждый день человек должен делать выбор. Судьбы персонажей просочились в мою жизнь и уже не получится просто забыть всё это, я заберу с собой в могилу все эти воспоминания. Музыка, которая сопровождала всю игру является неотъемлемой частью этого виртуального мира, она просто прекрасна. Живые диалоги между персонажами заставляют задуматься о жизни, они наполнены смыслом и искренностью. Перемотка времени как нельзя кстати, ведь в реальности иногда так этого не хватает, я бы многое хотел изменить в реальной жизни, но это невозможно, зато здесь я могу это сделать. Иногда были очень грустные моменты, иногда очень весёлые и опять же, игра очень похожа на жизнь, она не очередной продукт потребления и развлечения, который просто забудут, в неё вложили душу, свои личные травмы, переживания, эмоции, именно это делает игру настоящей, живой. Много трагических моментов были мною замечены, иногда было невыносимо грустно и даже скупая мужская слеза просочилась через мои веки, шедевр, каких очень мало, проект не для денег, а для людей. Это моя любимая игра, лучшая из моей библиотеки, хоть я и провёл за ней слишком мало времени, она навсегда останется в моём сердце, как символ чистоты человеческих эмоций.    … Expand

    What a great atmosphere this game offers. The characters feel real, the story is good and the soundtracks are amazing. A bunch of the events gave me the chills and I got very emotionally invested. Definitely recommend this one.

    Life is strange é um jogo focado em contar a história de “Maxine Caulfield” situada na cidade fictícia arcadia bay, que fica no estado de oregon. Max é uma estudante de fotografia que descobre que possui uma habilidade de voltar no tempo, fazendo assim a cada mudança no fluxo temporal causa um efeito borboleta, que faz com que o universo gere posteriormente efeitos catastróficos para a população daquela cidade, como tornados gigantes, animais encalhados etc.
    Minha linha de interesse nesse game se dá por meio das diversas escolhas que é possível realizar, causando assim um efeito de liberdade, tendo que usar o poder com responsabilidade para não fazer escolhas “ruins”.
    O jogo é cobertos de referências para outros jogos da mesma empresa e do mesmo universo, funcionando assim como peças de quebra cabeça que no fim, com o lançamento de outros jogos façam com que se completem causando um entendimento no público alvo. Muitas questões como pessoas desaparecidas são explicadas e detalhadas em novos jogos lançados depois. A mecânica de poder olhar e examinar objetos ao seu redor é fascinante, fazendo com que qualquer pessoa se interesse pelo cenário atual, e , para as pessoas que não tem paciência podem simplesmente passar direto. O seu poder de voltar no tempo faz com que ao fazer uma escolha que você ache ruim voltar no tempo e escolher outra opção seja o mais ideal para o momento, mesmo que depois você veja que não era bem assim. Para manter o foco dos jogadores life is strange aposta na liberdade de escolhas e de relacionamentos com pessoas locais, fazendo com que coisas que você vê agora, como simplesmente ler uma bíblia salvará uma pessoa do suicídio no futuro, ou não devido a sua escolha.     My friend someday just told to me to search more about "Life is Strange" so i saw what the first episode was free on steam and i play it and i loved, all the characters, all the history is awesome this game is so far the best "storytelling" game what i have played in my life

    Story and atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal. And the climax was emotional and brilliant and just really well-done.

    But I do have a couple critiques of the story.

    I felt like the scene where Victoria was trying to seduce the teacher was pretty weak. It obviously existed to solidify Mr. Jefferson as a trustworthy man before he surprises you by revealing he was the main bad guy all along, which is just really cliché. I really wish Jefferson could have alluded to his creepy side better before the reveal.

    It's obvious that sacrificing Chloe is the "intended" way to end the game, but the "sacrifice Arcadia Bay" option feels like a missed opportunity since it could have been really powerful too: Max is refusing to just accept what "fate" wants and will do absolutely whatever she can for her friend, which is pretty badass. It would have been nice to see this mindset reflected in the game, especially because player choice is the game's core theme.

    Overall, I think it probably deserves like a 9.7 out of 10. Totally glad I got to play it.    … Expand

    Um dos melhores jogos já produzidos. A abordagem foi diferente da convencional, o que pegou todo mundo de surpresa. Única coisa que pecaram foi na sincronia dos lábios, mas que não fez a menor diferença no gameplay.

    O jogo é 10/10.

The bonding with others feels super emotional and I definitely had goosebumps more than once while playing.

    Graphics are good but nothing special, the atmosphere is amazing.

    Gameplay itself isn´t fast neither slow paced. You can decide where to go in a small level-based area, but exploration within the level is completely available.

    The Story is absolutely crazy and super well written. Decisions have a huge impact on everything and can be really hard at times. There are many twists and turns which made me shiver a lot. The setting and the characters within the story are very well placed and all of this fits together perfectly.

    The time it took me to finish the game is satisfying. Not too long and not too short.

    In my opinion this is a must play game for everyone who likes meaningful stories with emotional encounters and a strong message.

    Within the first few minutes of playing the game, I fell in love with it.

    It was one of those games you don't want to leave, because it draws you in, the story is super interesting well written, amazing characrers, awesome choices that affects your playthrough.

    Bei diesem Spiel stimmt wirklich nahezu alles. Tolle Musik, tolle Sprecherinnen, stimmiges Gameplay und unfassbar herzzerreißend schön-traurige Geschichte. Nur hier und da hätten die Suchpassagen angepasst sein können (wenn man Leute ewig warten lässt, um ein Plakat zu bestaunen).

DONTNOD really did their research as the game tackles some big issues like slut-shaming, cyber bullying, drug abuse, grief and abuse. Fazia tempo que não sentia a sensação de vazio após terminar um jogo e Life is Strange foi o que me fez sentir assim(no bom sentido). Aquele final foi tortuoso para escolher, mas salvar a Chloe foi a melhor opção. Salvar Arcadia Bay faria com que a Chloe morresse pensando que a Rachel e Max haviam abandonado ela e que o padrasto dela não se importava com ela, só de pensar nisso é muito triste.

    I've heard of this game before, but never saw any footage of nor played it. Now that I started the first episode I wasn't able to stop until finished the whole season. This is a masterpiece. A touching and mysterious story, the characters are the most memorable ones I ever experienced in a video game. This game along with the prequel are my games of this decade, period.

    I found myself (for the first time when I ever played a game) not thinking only from my perspective, but instead trying to judge by the story and what Max is feeling. Also makes you think about the fact that sometimes, the people we tend to judge for their EXPOSED behaviour, which might have hidden reasons - we just don't give them a chance to explain or trust themselves, feel appreciated, listened and respected.

    Moreover it exposes issues we can all relate to in some way (I mean encountered, even if not directly in our families, maybe we've seen it in other circumstances), like domestic violence, alcohol abuse, bullying, high school drama etc. Maybe not for all even other darker topics which I will not mention to not spoil something. We might say: we were not bullies, but how many really were supportive with someone bullied or tried to stand for them, for example? That makes us part of the story too. I can say that I resonated very well with Max every time she faced a stressful situation, moreover I think that the voice actor for Max did a great job expressing the feelings (even though I have to say I hated some way too childish phrases which I will not spoil for you ^_^).

    I resonated so well with the game I actually let myself be lead ahead by my feelings, at the first play through. Generally in games I ignore the "I really need to go talk with ..." / "I should find ... now", and say - "yeah yeah, I just want to explore a bit more, I know it's not THAT urgent". This time I was actually really finding myself rushing when Max was worried about something and bail all the exploring. I realised this at the second play - for the photo album collection and was very surprised too see how much exploring and conversations I missed.

    Not to mention - even though I knew about the ending since I have watched a youtube video spoiling it for me in advance, I was still able to feel it during the play through with maximum intensity, real strong emotions perfectly pictured, and built over time, having a better impact than just the fact itself (I generally don't mind spoilers because I am more interested in how the story reached that conclusion, and not the conclusion itself). Also all the character reveals and growths made this authentic and gave feel to it. The game also tries to make you accept that "life is strange", and sometimes we have to accept the destiny and try to be the better version of ourselves for the people we have near us no matter what first impression they generate on us, and try to actually get to know them before judge them - not become friends necessarily, but kind with each other at least. A story well written from the feelings perspective. Sometimes with some plot holes about the time reverse mechanisms, known physics existing theories and logics about this, but the focus was not solely on that, but rather on the interaction and exposing small life stories.

    Last but not least, someone asked me how can I like and even promote a game that contains so many sad real life topics, isn't gaming all about fun? I said that this game should be played or at least watched as a movie by everyone. Not every person gets to face all the issues exposed, so they might become spoiled by not knowing the possible consequences of their actions (here I especially refer to bullying). We all should learn to be part of the solution, not the problem - but first we should acknowledge that the problems even exist, otherwise some might feel like "everyone is doing it, hence it's cool", sometimes bad behaviour is even promoted in order to be accepted in certain "popular" groups. So exposure to the action -> reaction/consequences is the first step towards building a solution from my point of view, and this game does this very well. Not to mention the game also contains beautiful, fun, enjoyable and memorable moments, not only drama as it might seem from 85% of my review, so it is totally worth a try :)    … Expand

    Magnificent game! Dialogues, the story, graphics, and all the details. The emotional bond between Alex and the player is so strong that I still think of the story and the choices even after finished the game months ago. In addition to the strong emotional background, the atmosphere is always creepy and mysterious. Especially at the end of the game hits you hard no matter what you chose.

    The relationship of Max and Chloe, evolving in the sweetest way in a fictional city where everything is indie and sad. And you decide what happens between them and between Max and each character. 10/10 because you can feel the love of the developers and because it has one of the most compelling ost in the videogame industry.

    One of the best games I've ever played in my life! Graphics are awesome, the main characters are FANTASTIC. I loved every single part of this game!

    Игра прекрасная, хоть и сначала заставлял себя проходить, на второй главе очень начинает затягивать. Хоть графика и старая, лезет в глаза она только в начале.

    I just finished the 1st part of this game and I think that is really a great game! The story is engaging from the very beginning. I will continue with the other parts!!! Play it!

    A kind of story telling game which i was waiting for (after Telltale games) in which actually your actions change the world around you.

    احد افضل العاب القصة الي لعبتها في حياتي جداً دخلت جو مع الشخصيات و تعلقة فيهم رغم التحريك و الجرافكس المتوسط لكن الحوارات غطت على كل عيوب اللعبة

    Life Is Strange is an imperfect video game and the actual mechanics of playing it, including the time rewind, can become annoying of frustrating, especially when the development team tries to borrow from another genre. But the game makes it easy to create a connection with Max and to care about her choices and trials, a rare feat, and that means any fan of narrative-driven experiences should try it out to see how he deals with the feelings of the protagonist and the impact they have on Arcadia Bay.
