Поначалу игра интересная, механика с перематыванием времени занимательная, приятная музыка, графика, я бы сказала, своеобразная, но можно привыкнуть. Сюжет интригующий, есть желание играть дальше и узнать конец. Но с появлением Хлои, мое отношение к игре постепенно ухудшалось. Она безумно неприятная личность, не понимаю, как главная героиня может с ней дружить. Я полагала, что со временем Хлоя откроется с хорошей стороны и она мне понравится, но нет, наоборот, с каждым моментом она начинала бесить все больше.
    Финальный выбор должен был заставить игрока переживать (убивать Хлою или нет), но меня она за всю игру так настроила против себя, что это был самый легкий выбор в моей жизни.
    Еще минус, это финальная глава, а точнее количество постоянных перемоток времени, когда уже не знаешь последняя ли эта перемотка или нет.
    Также к концу игры надоели однотипные, сопливые и клишированные разговоры, хотелось перемотать, но увы, это нельзя сделать.
    По итогу хорошая игра постепенно перетекла в ненавистную, оттого и такая низкая оценка.    … Expand

    This game was amazing. It made me care for even the minorest of characters, made me cry/get close to crying multiple times, i haven't gotten this emotional for any form of media in aa while, i would recommend this to anyone who'd ask. This game is amazing.

Но заставил бы себя сделать это в приквел, который только, что купил. Это то самое дерьмо, в которое вы просто обязаны вернутся или не начинать.Я вот хз почему, но я ели осилил эту игру.     Excelencia pura en cuanto a aventuras graficas se refiere, Life is Strange es un juego que juega con los sentimientos humanos como si de una montaña rusa se tratase.

    Amazing game really enjoyed playing it. Graphics are awesome for 2015. Music is beautiful and makes the whole experience better. Story is awesome. Max and Chole as characters are really likable. Honestly this game became one of my favorite games and i am happy that we will be getting a remaster this year.

I actually played the prequel first "Before The Storm," and although is was also a great game, the original is much better. So much intrigue, color, characters, and mind blowing twists and turns. It will keep you glued to your seat from start to finish. It doesn't have as much replay value as the prequel in my opinion, but many replay it multiple times because the game is just plain GREAT! BTW, despite "Before The Storm" came after the Original "Life Is Strange," it is regarded as a Prequel and not a Sequel. Hence the name, "Before The Storm." Any who...

    You play Maxine (Max) Caulfield, who develops powers to actually rewind time and change her
    decision making. No one knows how it happened or why. She foresees a disaster that will hit Arcadia Bay, and in the end, she must make the most difficult decision she will ever have to make.

    If that's not enough, Max also reunites with her best friend Chloe after not seeing her for 5 years. The two join forces to unravel a mystery of missing students from Blackwell Academy, including Rachel, who was Chloe's friend and possible love interest in the prequel. This puts Max in a difficult situation, as she and Chloe have been friends and possible soulmates since they were kids.

    In closing, it's one of the best games I've played in quite some time. The DEVS did an incredible job on everything, especially the art, voicing, music, and puzzles and lots of Easter Eggs, if you can find them. The only reason I am not giving this little gem a perfect 10, is due to Max's rewind power. There are some areas where this ability needs to be used a lot and in repetitive scenes, especially in Episode 4. Despite this however, I highly recommend this game.     It's been a while since I cried on a videogame and Lis did it perfectly. The immersion of this gem is incredible. It's the first time on a video game that I love everything on it. (musics, storytelling, puzzle, characters, gameplay). If you want to travel on an beautiful adventure for this lockdown you just find the perfect video game!

I never felt so immersed in a character as it was with max in life is strange, and how I love this character, every sentence she said when we were looking for something ...     One of the best games I've ever played. It's interesting, original, beautiful and really emotional. It's not even a game, but rather a unique personal experience of self-knowledge. You will all the time have to decide who you are and what your beliefs are. Also in this game there are incredibly lively characters. I envy those who still have not played it.

    У меня уже как традиция писать обзор на игру в тот же день, в котором я её прошёл. И вот и сам обзор на Life is Strange. Покупал я игру я вроде на распродаже в марте, если не ошибаюсь. Как обычно без больших ожиданий добавил её в корзину Steam и купил. После первого запуска, я решил, что в игру я сейчас играть не буду. И вот 29 апреля до неё дошли    Одна из самых лучших интерактивных кино

Как видите, она меня затянула, так что я её прошёл за 2 дня. При том, что последние время я начал немного меньше играть в игры.

    Сюжет:
    “В самом начале игры нас знакомят с Макс. Главной героиней данной игры. Ей приснился кошмар, в котором она в шторм начинает двигаться к маяку. По мере приближения к маяку она видит торнадо. В конце концов, она просыпается резко в классе на лекции по фотографированию“
    Это был такой краткий пересказ начала игры. В общем если честно, сюжет в этой игре хороший, конечно не без минусов или изъян, но хороший. И главный вопрос почему? Потому что события развиваются настолько быстро, что ты забываешь о многих деталях. Да и потом ещё сама игра о них забывает. Как бы смешно это не звучало.

    Способность:
    Вот я себе задаю вопрос. Почему Telltale не делает такие фишки? Как бы можно было запилить, что то наподобие этого. К примеру, вот недавно прошёл Walking Dead. Там можно было бы сделать, эту способность как пистолет. Очень буду, надеется, что они такое добавят. Думаю, это будет очень весомый аргумент к покупке их игр. Но не в коем случаи я не хочу сказать, что игры Telltale плохие. Я их обожаю!

    Музыка:
    Мне лично саундтрек Life is Strange понравился. К примеру, мне запала в душу с первого запуска музыка из наушников Макс. На этом пункте мне больше нечего сказать. Саундтрек нормальный.

    Маленький, но очень приятный плюс:
    Мне лично графика игры напомнила Sims 4. Вот не знаю почему. К примеру, в некоторых кат-сценах некоторые люди выгладили, прям как в заставке симса. (опять же думаю только мне)

    The latest game in the series, Tell me Why, got another name but I know too well it derives from
    LIS as well, it's the well known cocktail of ingredients that people seem to like, and in that regard isn't bad at all! The black sheep of the series is part 2 imo. LIS is a one of a kind game, and    Life is Strange is together with Before the Storm the best two parts of the LIS universe.

    This game made me more emotional than any other game, film or book I've ever played, watched or read. After finishing it, I could barely sleep or work for several days. A year on, I still get shivers every time I see a screenshot or gif from it. I don't know what this game did to me, or how, but what I do know is that it's **** perfect.

    Magnificent game! Dialogues, the story, graphics, and all the details. The emotional bond between Alex and the player is so strong that I still think of the story and the choices even after finished the game months ago. In addition to the strong emotional background, the atmosphere is always creepy and mysterious. Especially at the end of the game hits you hard no matter what you chose.

    Um Jogo que com gráficos simples e um roteiro singelo, cativante e atraente.
    Sem muitas surpresas, Life is strange é um bom jogo (quase filme) de jogabilidade bem simples, bem difícil não ficar retido em ao menos 1 momento. Só alguns pontos que me deixaram levemente incomodado, mas a estória e a trilha sonora é o grande potencial do jogo.

    But, choices really doesnt matter at all, but several times its just change one or two things. I must say, its good to make choices, but if you make one, doesnt matter if it is main choice, it must AFFECT some little situations, forver. It can take several years maybe to develops sich a game like that, with so many endings and options. But its only up to developers how their game will go. But its still sad at all, story and all. Well made. Characters have lots of dialogues, and you can even earn achievement like collectibles. Exactly, photos. Sometimes hard to find, but barely possible. Its good to have games like this... Game with choices are good, but it must have better options to AFFECT the whole game. Its not bad and not great game here. But story its just fascinating. For me, 7 score    … Expand

    The game itself does not impress by it's mechanisms, it mostly feels like a movie where you choose what you want to see next, which makes you become more emotionally involved. Which is actually not bad at all, especially because the story itself is very impressive, and the graphics are very promising, picturing somehow the protagonist feels.

    I found myself (for the first time when I ever played a game) not thinking only from my perspective, but instead trying to judge by the story and what Max is feeling. Also makes you think about the fact that sometimes, the people we tend to judge for their EXPOSED behaviour, which might have hidden reasons - we just don't give them a chance to explain or trust themselves, feel appreciated, listened and respected.

    Moreover it exposes issues we can all relate to in some way (I mean encountered, even if not directly in our families, maybe we've seen it in other circumstances), like domestic violence, alcohol abuse, bullying, high school drama etc. Maybe not for all even other darker topics which I will not mention to not spoil something. We might say: we were not bullies, but how many really were supportive with someone bullied or tried to stand for them, for example? That makes us part of the story too. I can say that I resonated very well with Max every time she faced a stressful situation, moreover I think that the voice actor for Max did a great job expressing the feelings (even though I have to say I hated some way too childish phrases which I will not spoil for you ^_^).

    I resonated so well with the game I actually let myself be lead ahead by my feelings, at the first play through. Generally in games I ignore the "I really need to go talk with ..." / "I should find ... now", and say - "yeah yeah, I just want to explore a bit more, I know it's not THAT urgent". This time I was actually really finding myself rushing when Max was worried about something and bail all the exploring. I realised this at the second play - for the photo album collection and was very surprised too see how much exploring and conversations I missed.

    Not to mention - even though I knew about the ending since I have watched a youtube video spoiling it for me in advance, I was still able to feel it during the play through with maximum intensity, real strong emotions perfectly pictured, and built over time, having a better impact than just the fact itself (I generally don't mind spoilers because I am more interested in how the story reached that conclusion, and not the conclusion itself). Also all the character reveals and growths made this authentic and gave feel to it. The game also tries to make you accept that "life is strange", and sometimes we have to accept the destiny and try to be the better version of ourselves for the people we have near us no matter what first impression they generate on us, and try to actually get to know them before judge them - not become friends necessarily, but kind with each other at least. A story well written from the feelings perspective. Sometimes with some plot holes about the time reverse mechanisms, known physics existing theories and logics about this, but the focus was not solely on that, but rather on the interaction and exposing small life stories.

    Last but not least, someone asked me how can I like and even promote a game that contains so many sad real life topics, isn't gaming all about fun? I said that this game should be played or at least watched as a movie by everyone. Not every person gets to face all the issues exposed, so they might become spoiled by not knowing the possible consequences of their actions (here I especially refer to bullying). We all should learn to be part of the solution, not the problem - but first we should acknowledge that the problems even exist, otherwise some might feel like "everyone is doing it, hence it's cool", sometimes bad behaviour is even promoted in order to be accepted in certain "popular" groups. So exposure to the action -> reaction/consequences is the first step towards building a solution from my point of view, and this game does this very well. Not to mention the game also contains beautiful, fun, enjoyable and memorable moments, not only drama as it might seem from 85% of my review, so it is totally worth a try :)    … Expand

    life is strange is a game which doesn't try too hard to be more than it is which is nice, it's one of those games that heavily relies on the story so much it becomes hard to acknowledge its gameplay elements, i always hated those games because it tries to be something it is not, but i still play them and let myself enjoy them as long movies to be honest.

    on the objective level, life is strange has some stunning stylized artwork, the soundtracks are out of this world, and the characters feels real, and even though there are a lot of stereotypical characters that isn't really important for the story the game still finds a way for you to care about them and give them a little bit of depth, and the biggest strength in my opinion is the relationship between Max the protagonist of the story and her friend Chloe which honestly is one of the best relationships in gaming history, it's so heart warming and wholesome even though i never liked Chloe's character but was empathetic nonetheless.

    on the personal level though the game simply isn't for me, i don't like teen drama or stories that revolves around teenagers overall so i never cared about any character in this game and i don't like time manipulation stuff so that's a double negative for me, i mean i gave it a chance but i always forced myself to open and play it again, never out of curiosity or love for the game or the story, and i couldn't force myself more after i reached the ending of episode 3, i watched the rest as highlights on youtube, so yeah the negatives are all my personal feelings towards it.

    to sum it up it is a good game by all means but not for people who doesn't like time manipulation or teen drama or telltale style games.    … Expand

The dialogue might be a little hit or miss, but the core relationship between Max and Chloe is a high-water mark for believable human connections in video games, and I grew deeply attached to these characters. As for the 'game' portion, Life Is Strange really seems to be the pinnacle of the genreIs it perfect? Of course not! Is it an incredibly moving, rewarding game? Absolutely. The dialogue might be a little hit or miss, but the core relationship between Max and Chloe is a high-water mark for believable human connections in video games, and I grew deeply attached to these characters. El mayor problema pues bueno, es un juego que salió por episodios, como si de una serie se tratara y es algo que toca los cojones que hagan esa mierda, y eso hay que tenerlo en cuenta a la hora de decidirse si comprar un juego o no, por eso lo digo por aquí, no hay que olvidar que no salió completo, salió partido, y luego en 2016 salió la edición completa. Lo recomiendo por menos de 10 euros por más ni de coña, por su historia interesante, emotiva e innovadora y sus personajes, también por la personalidad del propio juego. A mi me gustó. In general I would say the main focus of the game is on the developing relationships with the people around you and also the consequences of your own actions in the bigger picture. The bonding with others feels super emotional and I definitely had goosebumps more than once while playing.

    Graphics are good but nothing special, the atmosphere is amazing.

    Gameplay itself isn´t fast neither slow paced. You can decide where to go in a small level-based area, but exploration within the level is completely available.

    The Story is absolutely crazy and super well written. Decisions have a huge impact on everything and can be really hard at times. There are many twists and turns which made me shiver a lot. The setting and the characters within the story are very well placed and all of this fits together perfectly.

    The time it took me to finish the game is satisfying. Not too long and not too short.

    In my opinion this is a must play game for everyone who likes meaningful stories with emotional encounters and a strong message.

    I've heard of this game before, but never saw any footage of nor played it. Now that I started the first episode I wasn't able to stop until finished the whole season. This is a masterpiece. A touching and mysterious story, the characters are the most memorable ones I ever experienced in a video game. This game along with the prequel are my games of this decade, period.

DONTNOD really did their research as the game tackles some big issues like slut-shaming, cyber bullying, drug abuse, grief and abuse. Also as someone who went to a posh private school they nailedi haven't cried this much since the last of us part I and II. Ashly Burch (Chloe) and Hannah tells (Max) chemistry and dialogue was amazing they remind me of how me and my best friend act towards each other. Fazia tempo que não sentia a sensação de vazio após terminar um jogo e Life is Strange foi o que me fez sentir assim(no bom sentido). Aquele final foi tortuoso para escolher, mas salvar a Chloe foi a melhor opção. Salvar Arcadia Bay faria com que a Chloe morresse pensando que a Rachel e Max haviam abandonado ela e que o padrasto dela não se importava com ela, só de pensar nisso é muito triste.
    Nota 10 pra esse jogo, pra construção dos personagens e como a história desenvolve.    … Expand

    Life Is Strange is an imperfect video game and the actual mechanics of playing it, including the time rewind, can become annoying of frustrating, especially when the development team tries to borrow from another genre. But the game makes it easy to create a connection with Max and to care about her choices and trials, a rare feat, and that means any fan of narrative-driven experiences should try it out to see how he deals with the feelings of the protagonist and the impact they have on Arcadia Bay.
