Oct 16, 2021Such bad stuff is hard to see nowadays. Literally a non-game. Social simulator where the player is asked to press a button every 5 minutes of cut scene. No gameplay, history of a foregone and banal comparable to elementary school for simplicity, 1/2 important moments throughout the game. Like an episode of a very long and flat series.

Jul 28, 2023an innocuous and empty story that appeals to the cheap sentimentality that can be found in any short motivational video on the internet, at least acceptable.
-
Sep 15, 2021Makes the writing in the original LiS game look good. Didn't think that was possible, to be honest.
-
Sep 12, 2021Weak Plot, Very Slow Game. You do Not Have An Action. And a stupid ending. Everything is clear and predictable, I waited more.

Oct 17, 2021The story and new characters are great, the new power is quite fun, and I also love the new town where the story develops. An improvement from the second, and even the first game

Oct 29, 2021Shít game all around. Characters are bland, boring. Story is bland and boring. Setting is nice, but quickly becomes.... you guessed it; bland and boring. Just play Life is Strange 1 and Before the Storm. Yes, even for the 10th time, they are still better than this garbage.

Jan 27, 2022Pretty boring game where super power is empathy... like lack of empathy is unhuman. Strange :) It is difficult to stay alert and keep playing after flood of boring dialogs. At times it feels like simulator or experiment. There a re plenty of great games out there. You may skip this one.

Nov 14, 2021A step up in quality in most aspects - except for where it really matters. It looks a lot more polished, but the tame story and Alex's "power" really doesn't make for a immersive experience. The story is very weak and short compared to the first game. I tried really hard to give this game a chance, but ultimately—it did not deliver.

Dec 12, 2021Played 40 minutes. Hated the whole thing. Sluggish pace. Binary decision-making. Dull characters. If you didn't grab my attention after 40 minutes, what are you doing? Dull. Dull. Dull. On the plus side, it's pretty. Also, why can't I select a screen resolution in fullscreen? I had to switch between the dx11 and dx12 versions to escape 720p hell. Asked for a refund.

Sep 18, 2021No me parecio tan bueno es otro drama adolescente, se desarrolla muy lento, me gusto manipular a los demas para nuestra conveniencia, pero en general me parece muy pobre.

Nov 30, 2022The game was pretty average and boring most of the time. The music was good and the ending was very well acted but other than that it had little to no gameplay.

Jan 3, 2022Life Is Strange: True Colors paints a pretty picture, creating a story you’ll really want to invest in, with only a slow plot point or two distracting from what is otherwise a great work of art.
-
Nov 19, 2021True Colors is the most “alive” Life is Strange so far thanks to a technological leap, but it lacks spark and tries to compensate for it by referencing or imitating the original game.

Game World Navigator MagazineOct 22, 2021With Dontnod, there’s always a small town and the death of a friend to get the story rolling. But this time around, characters, plot and setting are far more developed than in previous games. [Issue#255, p.62]
