Wavelenghts is a nice little piece of bonus content that builds up a bit the world of True Colors. It also briefly touches upon the events of the first Life is Strange game and how Steph has been affected by them.

All the music was great and the little dating app game was sort of fun. I just wish we got to interact with characters. The only interactions that ever happen are basically

At first, I wasn't sure what to expect from "Wavelengths." Around halfway through, I felt disappointed, even contemplating not recommending it, as it seemed like a mundane job simulator with little story. I was so frustrated that I quit the game and went to bed.

However, I decided to give it another shot the next day, hoping to see how it unfolds. Surprisingly, it got more engaging.

However, I decided to give it another shot the next day, hoping to see how it unfolds. Surprisingly, it got more engaging. While not a masterpiece, it was still interesting, especially the tie-ins to the first game and the evolution of Steph's personality throughout the DLC. Getting to know different sides of her made her an even greater character in my eyes. The interactions with others through the radio show, messenger, and dating app added depth to the experience.

The "job simulator" aspect was less enjoyable and lacked significant events or places to explore beyond the radio station and the shop. But, the fun picked up gradually, mainly because you're playing as Steph.

In conclusion, "Wavelengths" offers an alright experience, providing insights into Steph's character and events following the first Life is Strange. It may not be mind-blowing, but it's worth it for those interested in Steph's story and the connections to the first game. Overall, the DLC is a decent addition to the True Colors experience.

Life Is Strange: True Colors - Wavelengths is an intimate look at one of the game’s most dynamic characters, and a laid-back experience with meaningful messages behind it.

Wavelengths manages to capture so many emotional moments and story beats, packaging them all up in a short-and-sweet experience that connects the world of Life is Strange together in a way unseen before. Wavelengths is everything and more we could have hoped for with a DLC.
