Wavelengths manages to capture so many emotional moments and story beats, packaging them all up in a short-and-sweet experience that connects the world of Life is Strange together in a way unseen before. Wavelengths is everything and more we could have hoped for with a DLC.

Life Is Strange: True Colors - Wavelengths is an intimate look at one of the game’s most dynamic characters, and a laid-back experience with meaningful messages behind it.

After going through LiS: before the storm, I fell in love not with Chloe or Rachel, but with Steph. How happy I was to learn that there will be a whole DLC about her, but how disappointed I was after playing.
Here you will not find any location other than a **** music store, about Steph we only learn that she was very worried about the death of Chloe and Rachel. We will not get any game play, except for wandering around the store and looking at everything around us, not a single character from TC will be visible, at most we will talk to them on the phone, even the cat was hidden (separate dislike). Also, there are no cutscenes, which TC was so full of, I also did not find good music for myself, but these are already my problems. Oh, yes, there is also a whole FOURTH of the game dedicated to LGBTQIA + - * / ^ 2. I kind of have nothing against the LGBT, myself, when choosing whom to start a relationship with, I always chose a girl (because once they give it, take it), but that was exactly my choice, this is what all parts of LiS conveyed (except for the second, she just some kind of **** but then they openly pour into my eyes and ears from all the cracks that Steph was so bad and scared, because she was oppressed. Total: 0 for characters, 0 for locations, 0 for story, 3 for Steph (I will always love her)

I loved True Colors but this is just a waste of time and money. Literally nothing happens.

Around halfway through, I felt disappointed, even contemplating not recommending it, as it seemed like a mundane job simulator with little story. I was so frustrated that I quit the game and went to bed.

However, I decided to give it another shot the next day, hoping to see how it unfolds. Surprisingly, it got more engaging. While not a masterpiece, it was still interesting, especially the tie-ins to the first game and the evolution of Steph's personality throughout the DLC. Getting to know different sides of her made her an even greater character in my eyes. The interactions with others through the radio show, messenger, and dating app added depth to the experience.

The "job simulator" aspect was less enjoyable and lacked significant events or places to explore beyond the radio station and the shop. But, the fun picked up gradually, mainly because you're playing as Steph.

In conclusion, "Wavelengths" offers an alright experience, providing insights into Steph's character and events following the first Life is Strange. It may not be mind-blowing, but it's worth it for those interested in Steph's story and the connections to the first game. Overall, the DLC is a decent addition to the True Colors experience.
