Wavelegths offers more insight into her life and her emotional baggage.
A good soundtrack and the choice of setting the entire story in one single location effectively convey Steph's isolation and loneliness to the player.

In my opinion it was my 2nd least favorite addition to the series besides Captain Spirit, it's very hard for me to stay engaged with a narrative when it only takes place in one setting, especially with the plot being that heavily focused on one character, I loved that the plot revisited what happened in Arcadia and how it effected Steph which in my opinion was the strongest point of the DLC when it showed how your choice from years ago still has an effect on the character, in my opinion they could have made this dlc stronger if they showed the aftermath of your choice in the original game to start off the dlc, it could have then transitioned to Steph and Izzy together as a band and quickly to Steph not being happy there and wanting to move somewhere small and simple and breaking up with Izzie and then moving to Haven Springs where she would get introduced to the people of Haven in the Black Tavern and then Gabe would have helped her get a job at the record store, and then the rest of the actual dlc experience could have transpired with maybe an additional scene at some point of Steph wanting to leave Haven and Gabe beating her in the foosball game I thought they could have at least one significant character visiting the record store each season to liven it up a bit, it would maybe added an additional hour or so to the DLC perhaps but I feel something like that would have made it a whole lot more interesting showing us How Steph got to Haven and how she came to like the place and people there. But with the DLC as is I'd give it a light 5 out of 10 I just feel like it could have done a lot more and I felt a bit disappointed after how great True Colors and how cool the character of Steph is. PS it was discovered their was supposed to be more to the DLC that got cut due to Covid protocols for the Mocap, which would have made for a more fun and interactive story, in retrospect the DLC should have been delayed and done properly.
