“Crash Course” small campaign that it is, is extremely satisfying, gibing hints of some new visuals and design elements to come for the series.
-
Crash Course doesn't change the basic nature of Left 4 Dead, but like most good content packs delivers a jolt of energy into an existing gameplay formula. It's something any fan of the original is sure to appreciate, and caters to people who don't have the time to invest in a full Versus playthrough on one of the original campaigns.
-
The expansion of Left 4 Dead is just that, an expansion. This is a new campaign, more than two episodes in the case of PC users, is free. A good initiative to spur even more arousing interest in Left 4 Dead 2.
-
It's a decent update featuring more the same.
-
More Zombies and action for Left 4 Dead, but it’s hardly recommendable in Xbox 360 because of its high cost.
-
Pelit (Finland)Fun for a while, but two measly levels is just too little, too late. Especially for a game that's practically made for DLC campaigns. Also the difficulty level is ramped up a bit too much on expert. Yes, expert should be hard, but Crash Course just makes things frustrating whereas the balance between dying a lot and having fun was spot on in the original game. [Nov 2010]
