If you love the T.V. show and/or have any interest in this kind of detective game, Law & Order: Dead on the Money is a must-purchase.
-
There is even a low enough learning curve and relaxed gameplay mechanic that even fans of the show, ones that are not exactly computer savvy, could be sucked in.
-
It's about thinking, and analyzing, and actually firing neurons to solve this case. Trust me, it's not going to take you an hour to run through this game. You're going to be at it a while.
-
Cheat Code CentralA major difference in this game is that there is no time limit. You can take as long as like to wrap up the case. This time the story is more involved and convoluted. It's not as straightforward as it seems at first.
-
The adventure is on the short side, but with good writing, a strong translation of the TV show, and the fact it makes you think makes Law & Order II: Double or Nothing a solid purchase for fans of the show and those that want a bit of a mind exercise.
-
It may be a conventional, paint-by-numbers murder mystery, but the resulting portrait is a rather generous one that provides two unique perspectives, a complex story, and hours of fun.
-
Sometimes, expectations for a second swing around the love nest can result in less than a satisfying rendezvous, and such is the case for this fizzled out flame that once burned brightly.
-
This is a perfect game to play through during a weekend. Youll be able to get to the end before you have to go back to work on Monday. Its almost like watching a Law & Order marathon on TNT.
