Even though I enjoyed the case more in Double or Nothing, I didnt enjoy playing the game as much because I felt like I had done it all before.
-
Ultimately, Law and Order 2 slightly exceeds its predecessor, mostly due to simplified gameplay. The storyline and voice acting make this a must have for every self-respecting Law and Order fan.
-
The sequel has a style and methodology that are similar to the original. However, a far more engaging storyline and a less-intensive reliance on the player's knowledge of legal procedures definitely makes Double or Nothing a better game.
-
I enjoyed Law & Order II: Double or Nothing. It's a bit different, not too taxing, well written and presented; hard to complain really.
-
Geared more towards the casual player, and the games simple interface and play mechanics reflect that.
-
Fans of the TV series and casual gamers would do well to give Double or Nothing a try, but it probably wont appeal to seasoned gamers.
-
Aside from the thrill of solving a few puzzles, though, there's little difference between playing L&O2 and watching NBC on Wednesday night.
-
Yes, the game has its faults, but like the show, Double or Nothing succeeds on the quality of its writing, and complements the TV show very well.
