Jul 9, 2016I bought this expecting another Gabriel Knight, but this is a disappointment. There are very little puzzles in it, the story is quite short and the ending clearly makes it like a first episode and not a full length game. Also I'm getting sick of low res graphics... Makes it hard to distinguish things.

Dec 19, 2016Five Word Review: A story worth listening to.
Favorite Thing: The story was enjoyable.
Least Favorite Thing: Not a big fan of the graphic style.
Playtime: ~ 4h
Enjoyment: 7/10
Recommendation: Adventure game fans won't be disappointed. -
Oct 25, 2020Pixellated puzzler.
Surreal little indie adventure with occasionally unintuitive puzzles. The story is moderately interesting but it loses its way somewhat towards the end. Recommended, but with reservations. -

Jul 11, 2016Mediocrity in every way. The developers of Kathy Rain should have realized early on that they are unable to create a work of art with interesting supernatural elements and human emotions.

May 29, 2016It's not necessary to go to LucasArts or Sierra for a bit of nostalgia. Kathy Rain is a great modern classic point-and-click adventure that fits perfectly in line with Blackwell, Gemini Rue and Shardlight.

May 27, 2016A fantastic story well told, superbly presented. When it comes to point and click adventures on Steam, Kathy reigns.
