    Just because you're developing the game with Unreal Engine 5 doesn't mean you can't optimize it. They will probably use this as a new excuse. It's funny that with these ridiculous system requirements you expect the game to sell and play successfully on PC. I'm so tired of AAA game developers who don't care about system requirements and optimization anymore.     Absolutely abysmal performance, can't keep constant frames on a 3070, which makes the PC sound like a jet taking off, all while looking extremely average. Which for some reason is blamed on Unreal Engine 5, when only the developers or publishers are to blame for not properly optimizing their game, and instead try to rely again on DLSS to make the game decently playable, while insteadAbsolutely abysmal performance, can't keep constant frames on a 3070, which makes the PC sound like a jet taking off, all while looking extremely average.     I thought the story and acting was good. The game was fun to play and lasted a more than fair amount of time to complete.
    The graphics were good. I enjoyed many of the long vistas. I wasn't expecting hyper-realism and the characters were OK.

    As a new IP from a new studio it’s a must play for fans of fps games.

    There are far fewer flaws here than most other fresh IPs that had successful launches and went on to become huge franchises.

    It lays a solid foundation and it would be awesome to see what these devs can do with some experience under their wings

    Instead of magic in fact guns with recoil
    Dialogues like from twitter in a fantasy world
    A mess of effects on the screen
    At the end of the game there is a terrible balance, no matter how you pump and no matter what loot you find, the further along the game, the weaker you are

    Attendez la 5090 pour y jouer à 60 FPS.
    Ils n'ont même plus besoin d'optimiser leur jeu il se repose sur le DLSS, FSR, XESS.
    La plupart des jeux sous EU5 seront injouables ce moteur demande encore plus d'optimisation que le précédent.
    Virer Denuvo et le lancer EA et ça ira mieux vous verrez.

    Trop de défauts pour l'instant: problèmes avec DLSS 3.0 Nvidia, on ne peut pas passer les cinématiques, l'écran est fouillis lors des combats, parfois les décors manquent de netteté, etc...

    No ultrawide cinematics.
    No ability to disable Motion Blur. Dialogs are very bad, there is almost no pause between characters' words, and as soon as one finishes talking the other one starts, feels robotic and unnatural. The animation of characters is also very bad, facial expressions are    No HDR, graphics are so-so, and other games have much better and sharper-looking worlds/characters.
    No ultrawide cinematics.

    What happened to this game? It had real promise and shines now and again but for much of this game you'll be doing rinse and repeat first person shooter generic shooting but with your arm. On pc the graphics look good but the fps really tank even on a decent system . There is a story but it's pretty bad and the long cut scenes don't help.     This game looks beautiful and is refreshingly straight forward. I feel like this will be looked at more positively by gamers than reviewers because it's simply a game that you pick up and have a fun adventure with.

    Isn't this the kind of game that we're hoping becomes more prevalent instead of bloated live service garbage? This is much more old school and I appreciated it.

    This game has got everything i like. Super-duper story. Very movie like game. The Story is ready to use in a great movie. NIce graphics (even on rtx3050 and works well on low and dlss), nice models, great locations. Good filling during exploration and fights.
    Some small bugs like few time i lost cotrol on keybort (after dead keybord was working fine). one time was missing a part ofmap so    This game has got everything i like. Super-duper story.     The settings is an interesting mix of modern vernacular and Nordic inspired architecture. The only problem seems to be that you need a high end PC to enjoy the experience, since this is exclusively built on UE5 with nanite and lumen. Meaning if you don't    Immortal feels like God of War as a shooter: well polished, beautiful action.

    8,5/10 großartiges Game. sehr gute Grafik, keinerlei Bugs oder Abstürze bei mir (7800X3D / X670E / 32GB-6000-DDR5 / RX6900XT / WIN11), tolle und gute Story, guter Sound, sehr gute Vertonung (deutsch), macht Spaß und Laune und wenn man nur die Hauptstory spielt ist man ca. 13-15 Std. sehr gut unterhalten. Natürlich gibts auch viele Nebenquests oder die Möglichkeit nach der Hauptstory noch8,5/10 großartiges Game. sehr gute Grafik, keinerlei Bugs oder Abstürze bei mir (7800X3D / X670E / 32GB-6000-DDR5 / RX6900XT / WIN11), tolle und gute Story, guter Sound, sehr gute Vertonung (deutsch), macht Spaß und Laune und wenn man nur die Hauptstory spielt ist man ca. 13-15 Std. sehr gut unterhalten.     One of the best single player game with great story of the last years. I love how they made God of war style achievements and world building. They dont deserve bad ratings. Performance is not perfect but its only small 0,5 sec lags from time to time, nothing really bad. People are overreacting. Good job Ascendant!

    With the exception of the more or less well-drawn surrounding World, everything else here is done horribly. Even this surrounding world, although nice, looks plastic and sterile. Okay, one could also say that there was some well-executed cut-scenes and a potentially interesting idea for the overall plot/story of the game. But this plot potential was drained down and the product had only one plus at the end - the above-mentioned stage direction of cut-scenes. That's All.
    I don’t even think we need to talk about optimization, do we? ...It simply doesn't exist. Asking such a high requirements from gamer's computer, I would say that it is even negative optimization, and not simply absent of it.
    That's it... that's enough. If these unfortunate so-called "game makers" won't start making *drum roll* GAMES! I will not give any discounts them like “well, maybe this thing deserves one more point, or that one deserves half a point.” and will give to every subsequent product like this one no more than 1-2 points in rating.     Game has average graphics at most, not as advertised in the trailers. Falsely advertised as magic COD. It's more like a bad adventure game, with even worse dialogue.

    The combat was fun and enjoyable, in the age of open world games its refreshing to have a linear shooter to mess with for 20hrs, overall i would recommend

    Immortals of Aveum’s greatest flaw is missing the target in marketing. It may not be the best FPS adventure, but it has a very enjoyable narrative and great (albeit few) full-fledged spell-flinging fights that I couldn’t get enough of.

    It is a failure, plain and simple. While there is still hope that it can be salvaged, with time, that's no excuse for a launch like this. One can usually forgive a bad launch. However, it is far more difficult to forgive an unplayable launch...
