Idle champions is one of those games you dont have to spend much time in, but it's also one of those games in which "if you choose to" you'll be stuck there for hours. This is a clicker game at it's core, however you eventually can automate everything.
With that being said, there is a bit of pay to win mechanics in the game. You can buy pets that click for you, and the more you have, the more you can automate. You can also buy new heroes, and even chests to level up their stuff, so in that nature it can be very pay to win if you want it to be. There are frequent events however that allow you to unlock all the champions for free, and during those events even gear them out quite well, so even without putting money in you can progress just fine.
All and all, it's a game you can forget about for a week, and come back and your heroes on missions will still be out fighting, and you can jump right in and see how they're doing.… Expand
