    Battle Royale with a useless time filler in the form of zombies that idle around. Players who play more have better equipment which causes huge balance issues.

    fantastic game. The only thing that holds it back is lack of maps and bosses. It's cheap so that can be forgiven to a point. But what is here is a great mix of stealth and action, across 2 excellently detailed maps, with a good variation of monsters and bosses. It becomes repetitive really quick if your fond of the pve part that is mixed with pvp and want both to be equal focus. Butfantastic game.     HUNT: SHOWDOWN is a western-style FPS PvP game with elements of PvE. Audio is very important in this game, which is refreshing, and adds a creative flavor to this game that makes it stand out in a sea of monotony. Gameplay and mechanics are solid. Gameplay is often slower-paced, but speckled with moments of high intensity and adrenaline.

    Hunt showdown is not your typical Shooter/Battle royale, since it takes a completely different approach to Pubg/Apex etc.
    In the main mode "bounty hunt", you do not pick up weapons from the map, but instead buy them beforehand for ingame-Dollars. Also, your character is not generic, but each one has a certain name, you can level him/her up and spec according to your wishes.
    But dont get    Hunt showdown is not your typical Shooter/Battle royale, since it takes a completely different approach to Pubg/Apex etc.

    But dont get too attached! Whenever your character dies to either PVE Monsters or PVP Players (and does not get revived by a teammate) he is lost forever together with all the equipment you spent your hard cash on.
    This is what makes this game so exciting. Every step could be the last one for your poor avatar.
    Although Hunt might have its edges and might not feel as smooth as Apex, for example, the emotions you feel after failure or success both are much stronger.
    Still, the best part of this game is definitely the audio. Never before have I been able to pinpoint the three-dimensional position of enemies as accurately as in this game. You not only can distinguish when your enemy steps on wood, mud or stone, but you even can determine his weaponry just by listening to the reload sound he makes behind cover. Every gun and every monster has its specific sounds that can be distinguished after only a few rounds. I wish every game would celebrate good audio as much as Hunt!
    There were some big issues with server stability and bugs after the last patch, but at least for me these issues have been resolved and now the game runs fine and the FPS is also quite ok, considering that it looks just beautiful. It runs at 65-90 fps with most settings on max on 1440p with my i5 9600k @ 4,7 Ghz + RTX2070 non-super.

    In summary, this is the best game of 2019 so far for me. It is definitely worth the 40-50€ and a must buy if you favour tactical / teambased play over fast-paced gameplay.
    I hope that the playerbase grows (afaik numbers went down after the last patch fiasko), so please buy this game!
    And to the developers: Awesome game! Please add more content in the near future to attract new players and keep the old ones! (However, ensure that your patches run fine before releasing it!)    … Expand

    Very atmospheric game, good shooting and setting, would be solo mode against mobs or survival would be nice.

    The only stable part of the game is DLC releases.
    We have constant server-side and rendering issues. UI and localization are horrible, we had very minor changes after 1.0. There is a huge sh*tstorm in all social networks, but developers don't even try to stabilize the situation and figure out their mistakes. Player base is slowly decreasing,    Unfortunately, something is going wrong...,
    The only stable part of the game is DLC releases.
    We have constant server-side and rendering issues.

    Hunt Showdown, simply put, is the most original multiplayer shooter I’ve played this decade. And it’s fun. Really really fun. Amazing graphics, INCREDIBLE binaural sound design, and an overall aesthetic that’s fiercely original in the MP shooter space. Like RDR had a baby with Resident Evil. Performance is great on my 1070, 60 FPS locked at high settings. Server issues only effected me oneHunt Showdown, simply put, is the most original multiplayer shooter I’ve played this decade. And it’s fun. Really really fun. Amazing graphics, INCREDIBLE binaural sound design, and an overall aesthetic that’s fiercely original in the MP shooter space. Like RDR had a baby with Resident Evil. Performance is great on my 1070, 60 FPS locked at high settings. Server issues only effected me one day out of 100 hrs so far, just some disconnects (Cryteks working on it). If you are looking for an online shooter that retains the tension of survival horror, and rewards careful tactical play (not just “run around and shoot good”) then I can’t recommend Hunt enough. It gives me frequent panic attacks but that’s why I love it ;)… Expand

    HIGH RISK, HIGH REWARD, they say in the description. And its true. The game is so intense, you sweat and freeze while your trying to get the bounty from the boss, or other people. I like the choice of year, the end of the 1800's. The game is best with friends.

    Boring sterile multiplayer-oriented game that gets repetitive fast. The game lacks a good single player campaign. It's lifeless obviously made as an e-sport. The gameplay is so clunky already bored with it

    New gameplay and nice graphics with excellent sound. Atmosphere is amazing and the hunter recruit permadeath system makes it so hard to die. I love that game..was waiting so long for a competitive monster game. Thx crytek

    Crytek has massive server issues, The game is fun. But just border-lining unplayable. Just go have a look at the Bug Reports on their official discord server. The LOD rendering distance is broken so it looks like the game is loading while you are playing. A PVP game at heart with hit-reg worse than another FPS game with 200 ping. (playing at 20). Sound was broken in last patch andCrytek has massive server issues, The game is fun. But just border-lining unplayable. Just go have a look at the Bug Reports on their official discord server.     Buena idea, buena ambientación da como resultado un juego como mucha personalidad y diferente a lo que hay en el mercado en la actualidad.
    Aún así cabe destacar el mal rendimiento que sufre en pc desde la salida oficial al mercado, espero que se solucione pronto.

    If you enjoy fps multiplayer games, you definitely must try this. I cannot remember the last time I had such a roller coaster of emotions playing a multiplayer game. From being head shot out of nowhere, to making it out with a bounty just killing a team a few moments ago that ambushed you can be extremely rewarding. Its a much slower paced game than for example call of duty or destiny, butIf you enjoy fps multiplayer games, you definitely must try this. I cannot remember the last time I had such a roller coaster of emotions playing a multiplayer game. From being head shot out of nowhere, to making it out with a bounty just killing a team a few moments ago that ambushed you can be extremely rewarding. Its a much slower paced game than for example call of duty or destiny, but requires much more tactical thinking to try and outsmart your opponent into what can essentially turn out as a thrilling game of hide and seek... before popping out of nowhere and sending your opponent to hell. One piece of advice. Play with a friend as you will not win much solo queuing.… Expand

    Gra od samego początku jak tylko pojawiła się w ea była tytułem który wpasowała się w mój typ m rozgrywki. Teraz gdy gra jest oficjalnie wydana poprawiło się wiele rzeczy. Mimo że zawartość gry nie jest duża bo tylko dwie mapy i 3 bossów to gra się szybko nie znudzi, każda rozgrywka jest inna. System udźwiękowienia jest bardzo dobry jeszcze nie zdarzyło mi się żeby dźwięk z gry źle miGra od samego początku jak tylko pojawiła się w ea była tytułem który wpasowała się w mój typ m rozgrywki. Teraz gdy gra jest oficjalnie wydana poprawiło się wiele rzeczy. Mimo że zawartość gry nie jest duża bo tylko dwie mapy i 3 bossów to gra się szybko nie znudzi, każda rozgrywka jest inna.     Graphics and art is awesome in game and if you are looking an alternative way of battle royal games this is for you. There is nice AI and game is very good with everything.

    A masterpiece of atmosphere, slow-building (or sudden spiking) tension, and stealth mechanics. Guns are varied and incredibly well-chosen for the setting. Single action rifles, pistols, crossbows, and various punchy shotguns (as well as many more inventive weapons and defense/offense tools), all of which have slightly varying specs, and one of which will definitely fit your style. TheA masterpiece of atmosphere, slow-building (or sudden spiking) tension, and stealth mechanics. Guns are varied and incredibly well-chosen for the setting. Single action rifles, pistols, crossbows, and various punchy shotguns (as well as many more inventive weapons and defense/offense tools), all of which have slightly varying specs, and one of which will definitely fit your style. The eldritch, lower-case L lovecraftian environment and tone exists nowhere else in games. Gunfights will often be protracted, clenched-teeth affairs as each team attempts to sniff out the moves of the other, hidden in some sprawling lumber yard or slaughterhouse (among many other ruined and cursed rural outposts) or near-terrifying exchanges in the bayou, where every noise can attract the awful hosts of AI that stalk the zones. P v P v E v Boss v Your ever-increasing hypertension and derangement make for an incredible experience. It’s a magnificent game, with deep deep audio and interaction systems built with cardiac arrest and Paleolithic howls of triumph in store for every player. Often in the same game. And it’s cheaper by $20 than a typical AAA game. Believe.… Expand

    one of the most tense fps at the moment, it's very unique, setted in the 1980 lousiana swamps, i highly recommend it, is not a br game btw if you are thinking it, here you have some mission, not just killing other player, oh forgot the audio is the most insane i ever seen, 10/10

    Hunt: Showdown is an incredibly intense and sometimes nerve-racking game that will require a lot from you. In return, it delivers an experience and a world you will have a hard time finding anywhere else.

    10/10, best game I've played pretty much ever. Tense as hell. Great graphics, immaculate sounds (sounds are a major driving factor in the game). I'm going to buy official merch to support the developer, thats how much I love this.

    Hunt: Showdown is a great blend of battle royale and survival horror; one that is an enjoyable, but also unbelievably tense, and merciless gaming experience. Apart from being quite rough around the edges, its unrelenting nature (courtesy of its surprisingly cruel permadeath mechanic), and almost awful matchmaking logic, make this a game for only a few - a few who must put hundreds of work on it, if they don't won't to spend most of their time staring at the words "You're Dead!"
