    Boring sterile multiplayer-oriented game that gets repetitive fast. The game lacks a good single player campaign. It's lifeless obviously made as an e-sport. The gameplay is so clunky already bored with it

    game looks pretty, played it for some time. however it is poorly done mechanically. The balance is not there at all. Weapons not balanced. mobs are poorly tuned and AI is dumb. Lastly the competitive aspect, it's bad. There is no matchmaker, when you try to join team game, people end up leaving you because you're new and too low of a level. The gap between old schoolers/pros and new peoplegame looks pretty, played it for some time. however it is poorly done mechanically. The balance is not there at all. Weapons not balanced. mobs are poorly tuned and AI is dumb. Lastly the competitive aspect, it's bad. There is no matchmaker, when you try to join team game, people end up leaving you because you're new and too low of a level. The gap between old schoolers/pros and new people is HUGE. You'll be killed by some pro with a crap gun nearly across the map. Players just camp in bushes non stop. all together, the game is hard to enjoy. instead of coming home from work and enjoying the game, you will end up suffering match after match after match and trolled with "get gud" comments.… Expand

    Frustrating Gameplay, poor Content, toxic community.
    Setting, graphics and content are nice, but the core gameplay is not enough fun.
    The fights are short and deadly or tedious and boring.

    Battle Royale with a useless time filler in the form of zombies that idle around. Players who play more have better equipment which causes huge balance issues.

    Gioco molto valido, ma infestato da russi/est europa. Lagswitcher a palla, cheating a livelli squallidi, svariati bug, pessimo team di sviluppo, prezzo esagerato, la notte e' completamente ingiocabile causa una pessima via di mezzo tra "notte illuminata" e "non si vede un ♥♥♥♥♥"... sarebbe meglio avere una notte completamente nera, dove si usano laterne etc.

    In parole povere un FPS che rasenta il capolavoro, ma per colpa di un team di sviluppo indiceso e che prende pessime decisioni e una discreta (enorme, IMMENSA) quantita' di cheaters, lagswitcher o problemi vari di hitbox (verso player e non) raggiunge sempre piu' uno stato di totale ingiocabilita'.

    A mio parere basterebbe un filtro per "ping" o simili, e una rinnovata/aggiornata/cambiata al sistema anti cheat (o in caso una KILLCAM e un maggior numero di persone al reparto "assitenza/segnalazioni"), e qualche contenuto extra (MAGARI NON SQUALLIDE ED INUTILI SKIN) e tornerebbe ad essere il gioco affascinante che era quando lo acquistai ormai 2 anni fa.    … Expand

    They boys in Crytek totally lost the plot. They are adding Drone in a game themed in 1895. Absolute retardation. It seems they are adding some heavy chemicals in the US water nowadays because the average IQ there is dropping by the minute.

    It’s beautifully bad. There’s no point trying to shoot people as the meta at the minute is just take advantage of the **** movement system and melee people. It’s trash.

    Not sure where all of the negative reviews are coming from. I personally installed the game when it was in early access, then refunded because at that point in time it truly did feel buggy. I couldn't be bothered to learn the ropes, it was too confusing.

    Fast forward last month, got it on sale was a little more patient and oh my God... This is literally one of the best FPS's if not games, I have ever played and this is coming from a long time FPS player (Doom BBS's through TitfanFall 2)

    - Stunning environment, and lore
    - Incredible models, costumes, skins
    - Maps are very well designed
    - AI is just smart enough and adds a huge layer to PVP (PVE)
    - Game play is slower, methodical and VERY VERY heart pumping and nerve-wracking
    - Sound is absolutely the best Iv'e ever experienced in a title
    - Gunplay, balance and feel is incredible..

    If you're a fan of FPS, especially more hardcore or mid-core FPS. BUY THIS GAME and give yourself the week of patience to learn it. You won't regret it.    … Expand

    Oh, and want to solo? You'll be put in a match against teams. 0/10 rating for unforgivably frustrating gameplay    The gunplay is frustrating.     The game should be renamed, "Crash: Serverdown". This game is a massive joke. There is no way this should be for sale. It's simply not worth any money. If you are able to survive through the crashes and bugs and disconnects and server outages, you feel lucky - the game completion rate is about 50%. The game has been out for over a month to paying Steam users and Crytek has not released oneThe game should be renamed, "Crash: Serverdown". This game is a massive joke.     Although it can be pretty fun at times, it's very poorly optimized, has lazy boring events, and there's no solo queue only bounty hunts. Honestly I think it's overrated.

    Can't recommend this game at it's current state.The game is badly optimized, the matchmaking is incredibly unbalanced and needs a lot of working and there are constant High Ping issues from their servers. It makes it incredibly difficult to play this game since it requires a ton of attention to sound cues and you can't hear those sound cues due to it's technical issues.Avoid for now untilCan't recommend this game at it's current state.The game is badly optimized, the matchmaking is incredibly unbalanced and needs a lot of working and there are constant High Ping issues from their servers. It makes it incredibly difficult to play this game since it requires a ton of attention to sound cues and you can't hear those sound cues due to it's technical issues.Avoid for now until they fix this.… Expand

    Bugs are not fixed for years. No reconnect feature. No new content, only hats. The game is full of bugs, and this tech debt is not going to be fixed.

    Crytek has massive server issues, The game is fun. But just border-lining unplayable. Just go have a look at the Bug Reports on their official discord server. The LOD rendering distance is broken so it looks like the game is loading while you are playing. A PVP game at heart with hit-reg worse than another FPS game with 200 ping. (playing at 20). Sound was broken in last patch andCrytek has massive server issues, The game is fun. But just border-lining unplayable. Just go have a look at the Bug Reports on their official discord server. ITS 2020. ALL GAMES SHOULD RUN AT 60FPS. Might as well play another game while you're waiting for this one to load. The point of playing PC is because you CAN play budget builds and because they are superior in every ways to console.

    second...be prepared to aim your crosshairs at a target, fire, and have it not do anything. it will happen to you ALL THE TIME. and meanwhile, your opponents will ALWAYS get headshots, one shot, the first shot, and you will have no chance to respond. Your opponents will NEVER miss even when you have superior positioning, even when you take initiative, even when you take your time to line up your shots, your opponents will ALWAYS turn (without REALLY knowing where you are) and kill you instantly, even though you carefully setup the scenario by making superior plays to your opponents

    If the actual aiming and firing part wasn't bad enough, your opponents will kill you through solid brick walls and these boxes that are not "penatrable" and other surfaces that bullets cannot penetrate in real life, so hiding in cover or concealment will never work. nice job crytek.

    third...the worst matchmaking ever. as a new player, expect to go up against 3.0 kd tryhards that team up and play together regularly. and as a random match, if you are a 3.0 kd, hardmode on. you will ONLY have level 0 noobs on your team and you will only go up against the same type of before-mentioned scenario.

    crytek, this is the first game i have tried of yours. needless to say, i will never be purchasing one of your products ever again. consistency is what i look for, and this game feels so rough around the edges like you ran out of budget. i have so many videos of just WTF from this garbage game, that you have solidified in me the idea that i will never purchase another product from you ever again.    … Expand

    We have constant server-side and rendering issues. UI and localization are horrible, we had very minor changes after 1.0. There is a huge sh*tstorm in all social networks, but developers don't even try to stabilize the situation and figure out their mistakes. Player base is slowly decreasing,    Unfortunately, something is going wrong...,

It lures you in with "oh its a hardcore fps" but no, it's just **** broken. You WILL get clipped through objects, and when asked veteran players "Oh yea welcome to hunt". They also tried to lure in people with one of their selling points being "graphics" since its using the crytek engine. Well, they downgraded that quickly. So now the game just looks like **** The nights are more like "slightly dark" than they actually showed. When a game was looking better in the alpha than in the official release. You know something is wrong. To sum up why you should'nt give these ****heads your money. They dont fix bugs, they only add skins instead of new content like they keep promising. They have bad cheater problem. You get NOTHING for 40 euro. And there are multiple audio and visual bugs.… Expand

    1.Разработчики пытаются привлечь как можно больше игроков, упрощая стрельбу от плеча !
    2.С каждым обновлением игра всё хуже и хуже!
    3.Пропал баланс оружия, теперь ненужно прицеливается просто бей от плеча !
    4.Очень много читеров в этой игре !
    5.Если вам дороги ваши нервы и здоровье не покупайте эту игру она не стоит своих денег!
    6. Графика намного хуже чем в рекламных роликах (сглаживание отвратительное ) очень сильно устают глаза особенно если ночные карты!

    Broken. This game has no bugs fixed, no content for your money and alot of cheaters. over 40 dollars for 2 maps and 3 npc bosses. Dont waste your money.

    Hunt: Showdown is a great blend of battle royale and survival horror; one that is an enjoyable, but also unbelievably tense, and merciless gaming experience. Apart from being quite rough around the edges, its unrelenting nature (courtesy of its surprisingly cruel permadeath mechanic), and almost awful matchmaking logic, make this a game for only a few - a few who must put hundreds of work on it, if they don't won't to spend most of their time staring at the words "You're Dead!"
