    Game has a lot of dark humor. I laughed at how absurd everything is. Ran smooth, no issue on PC.
    Didn't play it on launch but glad I got around to it. The game has some platforming, and is a more mature themed Ratchet like game.

    As much as I enjoy the world of High on Life and Justin Roiland it's just not enough to keep playing.

    Missions are uninteresting, too long and vague.

    Initially I was sceptical because of 69/100 critic reviews score, I was thinking that this is just another shooter which tries to attract Rick and Morty fans. For sure I was wrong. This is a great game, I couldn't stop laughing.

    A hidden gem that you may have missed due to expressive art style or dirty jokes. But it's also a good platformer and shooter with vibes of sitcoms of 80s.

    Die Waffen haben 2-3 Modi, die im Kampf und in der Welt zum weiterkommen verwendet werden können. Die Story ist echt gut und es macht Spaß immer weiter zu spielen. Die Bosse sind kreativ gestaltet, visuell als auch im Kampf.

    Extremely fun game! 
    Yes, gameplay is just ok, not too good not too bad, but it's the funniest game I ever played.
    If you want gags after gags after gags for several hours this is just perfect. If you want complex gameplay, brain activity or other serious things look somewhere else.

    Ah High on Life... what a shame about Justin Roiland. I think if the game hadn't come out in the wake of his abuse allegations and legal proceedings, it would have been received better. It's still only a 7.5 game... but critics would have been fairer.

    I loved the vibe of the world itself. Overall an amazing shooter, great voice lines, fabulous characters. I'm giving a 9/10 because of the plot and length of the game. Buy it, you won't regret it:)

    Incredible games with a Lot of mechanical gameplay like guns ,boss fights, puzzles and awesome jokes and Beginning.
    I never forgetting this games for lovely guns like Kenny and lezzduit!!!

    If you don't like humour in this game, you won't like it. But I had a blast playing High on Life. Not just for the funny characters and crazy world, but the gameplay is surprisingly very good and addictive. Great experience.

    A very special experience which reminded me why I enjoy gaming so much. High on Life is an absolutely insane game, with some of the weirdest characters and dialogue you'll ever encounter in a video game.     The visuals are stunning, with an incredible art style and the audio doesn't disappoint either, with a frankly ridiculous amount of top quality voice work, I often found myself standing still for minutes at a time listening to NPC conversations, the world feels so alive. The gameplay while simple was very enjoyable, and there's just enough depth to keep it interesting, with a ton of upgrades to unlock for your weapons, which just happen to be wise cracking aliens BTW.

    Performance was solid for me, a locked 120fps was possible at 1440p with an RTX 3080, and everything worked how you'd expect it to, no nasty surprises or weirdness. I was a bit surprised the game lacked DLSS and FSR though, those would have been nice additions.

    Overall I enjoyed my time with High on Life immensely, and I would recommend it to anyone. It had me laughing throughout and one scene in particular was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen in a video (the dying moplet).    … Expand

    The game was fun with choices all around the game. The game had 4 actual movies from Hollywood which you can watch entirety. Everything is good but the commentary and whips throughout the game is the best thing in the game.

Another time we have super biased low score for a good game. Worth playing. If you have a game pass — just try it.     Very refreshing and fun game. Great writing if u fun of this humor type even better,
    and also surprisingly good and fast pace combat with some nice movement abilities once u unlock all.
    The graphics looks good also in 4K native , many high res. textures and good art style . even if the look its cartonish can look great sometimes in 4K has that " The Fifth element " vibe on it . Was    Very refreshing and fun game. Great writing if u fun of this humor type even better,

    Guns need more variation, loved the story and quests. The world and graphics were visually appealing, with action, comedy, all packed in one metroidvania esque game. You fight a lot of the same enemies (in many shooters), but offer unique bosses and that classic Rick and Morty punchlines! Would recommend to wait until it goes on sale for less than $40.

    First single player game I've played in years that was enjoyable. I don't remember it being severely buggy and I was able to play it without wondering when the game would freeze and break. Sadly we probably won't see anymore of High on Life because of Roiland being a creep, but oh well I guess.

    This game started of really great but then at the end got kind of repetitive. The humor is great and I found myself bawling at some of the jokes and the imagery. This games selling point is not the gameplay but if you don't find Rick and Morty funny or some similar shows with dark humor, this game isnt for you. Otherwise, this game is amazing.

    Fun game and every gun adding up different mechanics to the game. While in some parts the humor it has gets boring but most of the time it has really good humor. Story was OK and boss fights were good. Sometimes these type of games are needed for a short adventure.

    i don't get the best frame rate in this, and the game simply becomes less fun if you turn the difficulty to anything other than "story". most of the difficulty is in platforming and exploration regardless of what setting you choose, but the boss fights are just not well enough designed to play on "hunter" difficulty.

    that said, the game is really funny, has a surprising amount of easter eggs and cameos, and looks great. there is an entire movie playing in the living room that you can just sit and watch, plus what seems like hours of interdimensional cable playing on monitors all around town. people say the game is short, but nearly every single person you meet can be interacted with for long periods of time to hear them explain more things about themselves or do silly stuff.

    if you do not like rick and morty, you will not find this funny though, and the gameplay itself doesn't exactly warrant the price tag if you aren't viewing it as a sort of interactive media experience.    … Expand

    It was my dream to get into one of rick's world in the space and killing aliens with morty in hand. Everything in this world has the same beauty as the tv series and then this is so **** good. Only problem in my case is blurry textures but this is because 2gb vram in my gtx 1050 (game needs at least 3GB in minimum requirments). Nevertheless it's still awesome game, cause graphics doesn'tIt was my dream to get into one of rick's world in the space and killing aliens with morty in hand.     I think it's good, I mean, it doesn't have the best gameplay but even with that it manteins you really entertained.

    The gameplay is pretty short tho, hope they release a second part with improved game mechanics, wich I repeat, weren't bad at all but still could be better.

    You like the Humor of Rick and Morty? play this Game! Its the funniest Game since years. And the "Levels" let me think of my childhood, levels with cool and funny bossfights. Maybe more languages would be nice. But it is in English absolutely fine.

Games are also supposed to be fun, creative, go beyond reality, reality is just a optional reference, not a rule. FAR too much effort goes into dissecting whether it’s “funny” or not, which is largely beside the point. It’s like trying to argue about whether Earthbound is “funny”.     I really liked it! Its a fun game and it breaks the forth wall some times like Stanley Parable-ish and its fun. It gets a 9 from me becuase it has some bugs and I had to restart a boss fight like 3 times.

    One of the best games I've played in a while. It actually worked on release date. I experienced no bugs and it was just a genuine good laugh. A nice change from alot of broken games that have been released the last few years.

    Very fun and unique game filled with a lot of parody and unique bosses.
    Shooter elements are there, but mostly to create a background for driving narrative. It is more a parody on FPS games than an FPS game itself.

The weopens are like nothing else and they give the feel of amazing game like StrangersWrath..Only issues I had would be with the same issues literally every modern game has, performance and polish.. The game runs at 30fps on SX and has noticable graphical issues...To be fair, with motion blur 30 fps isn't as bad as some other games..

    It’s actually a pretty good game. Small slowdowns in the main city in PC but overall it’s gorgeous in my opinion. The comedy is subjective. I love it so that’s me. They give you a option to turn the talking down so you can do that as well. Overall a solid game.

    It is like a combination of The Simpsons and Borderlands. A bit like Trover Saves the Universe. To be honest I didnt enjoy any of these. But somehow I like High on Life. The characters, locations, graphics and music make it a nice audio visual experience that you get dragged into. It is certainly not the typical call of duty like First Person Shooter, but something a lot more creative. InIt is like a combination of The Simpsons and Borderlands.     Really fun game and nice gameplay, definetly not a masterpiece, but you will have good times and great moments during the campaign.
    I had only one bug during the whole playthrough but the only thing I did to fix it was restart the game, good performance overall. Recommend it to everyone who likes Rick and Morty and shooters such as Doom and Halo.

    this game is absolutely wonderful! it's brilliant for its delivery in capturing it's type of humor within this fun and explorative video game environment.
    many different aspects are used to balance out the variety of gameplay, and does a great job of inviting you into it's world to explore and marvel with delightment in.

    It is such a funny and light hearted game but it is a bit short I fully recommend this game has a great and funny ending I think in my experience it is my favorite game of the year for sure

    A lot of fun!!! Awesome gameplay, very funny Haven’t played anything like it!!! Interesting though they kind of took the concept from Cyperpunk 2077 - Skippy the Gun

    What a great game!! I didn't expect to find a game that draws my attention so much! I am 35 and its been YEARS since a game consumed my life for a few days and it was such a great time with this game.

    Loved the guns and characters- wish they had merchandise- would buy it in a heartbeat! Glad I got t9 enjoy this epic game and had to make an account just to sing it's praise!     This game is just fun just plain and simple fun no woke garbage and doesn't apologise for it. I think alot of the negative reviews are from people who don't like this kind of comedy but think of it as a playable episode of a rick and morty like tv show. I'm loving it and recommend checking it out

    One of the best games that I could play. This is a amazing game, but without dubbing in my language turning this amazing game with a lot of action in a boring game where you stay the entire game reading (reading in Spanish, if you are a unhappy Brazilian). I hope this game give money to Squanch translate the game.

    Just go play it. I enjoyed the game. It pretty simple gameplay either minor player progression. The world's you are surrounded by with each level is awesome. The game has got great jokes throughout but that's always subjective. Just check it out. Gamepass has been amazing for me and I have played more games than ever before.     A must have if you liked Rick and Morty, or just want to have fun.

    Great combat (especially after picking up more guns and tools). Lots of exploration. Really good side characters.

    This is a wonderful beautiful artwork game with fantastic humor dialogue which is the main point of the game. The combat is solid and well done and its definitely one of the most unique games i ever played and definitely the most unique game that came out in 2022.. definitely worth buying

    Great game, runs well on my PC as well as my steam deck. I wish I could move my save file between the two and I would like to be able to skip dialog as some of it is kind of slow paced. Everything else about the game is fantastic.

    High on Life offers an entertaining experience that doesn't compare to any other game that I've played. Jam packed with dark humor from a star studded cast of comedians the game plays like a movie. Players should expect some flaws as this is an indie game not a AAA title. You should be playing this game for the jokes and silly storylines. Anyone expecting this to be the next Fallout is going to be disappointed, it is not that. But fans of gaming, Justin Roiland, or even just dark comedy will not be disappointed.

    Edit: I completed the story mode last night and need to knock another point off the review. The bugs continue to get worse as you progress through the game. It is not possible to complete everything in it's current state, which is disappointing. I've really enjoyed diving into this world and exploring everything it has to offer. I want to finish everything, but I can't until it's fixed. It's a great game, but like many others now-a-days, we were given a beta. I'm going to go file my bug reports and hope for the best.    … Expand

    Fun. That is all I want in a game, most times. If you like the humor in it, you will love it. You can also quiet down the talking guns and enemies to some extent.
    Fact: a game that truly takes you away from your daily worries and helps you unwind and relax, and laugh. Beautiful!

    This is something that we haven't seen for a many years. Strong narrative, amazing humour, good feeling shooter game. Don't let it fool you by cover or short description. It is way, way better than it might look at first view. Try it!

    I finished High on Life yesterday. I did everything that the game has to offer and it was worth every second of it! If I can say 3 things about this particular one:
    1) I will miss it a lot, especially the characters.
    2) it's by far one of the best games I've played this year. 3) it is what a video game should be. I can see this game getting a fair amount of negative reviews, although    I finished High on Life yesterday. I did everything that the game has to offer and it was worth every second of it!     I can see this game getting a fair amount of negative reviews, although it is currently the most popular game on Game pass and also it's in the 3rd place as the most played game ever - again on Game pass. High on Life is quite similar in structure to old video games like Rachet and Clank or Sly cooper. You have worlds that you travel and visit often, each world is quite open and at the end of each one they have a final boss fight. You are a little kid whose mission is to "clean" these bosses and save the world from the alien threat. At your side you have different weapons that you get gradually and these come with different upgrades that you buy little by little as you progress through the game. The same weapons are 80% of the characters of High on Life since they are aliens who are able to speak and were made to kill.
    High on Life is made by the company Squanch games and the Co-Creator of Rick and Morty - anyone who has seen the series knows what kind of humor to expect here! I am talking about humor because the game itself is based on this and on the dialogues that the characters have with each other. Since we're talking about characters, I have to mention that I loved the whole cast, which, while it's not big, I'll miss them all - really, every single one of them. The Soundtrack of High on Life is also very strong, fitting, exactly what it needed to be to stick with the whole "alien world" theme.
    As for the story, as I mentioned above, we are dealing with an alien threat! We know more or less what to expect but the dialogues are so well worked, honestly you are never bored of it.
    Last but not least the game has a lot of easter eggs, so DON'T listen to those who say that its duration is 6-7 hours only. I was expecting that too, but in the end I needed about 15 hours to see everything. Trust me, finding its easter eggs, it makes the whole experience even more enjoyable so please don't ignore them.

    I recommend it 100% if you like games with dark/satirical humor and a structure reminiscent of the games we used to play as kids. It easily made it to my most favorite games list!!    … Expand

    Un muy buen juego, se agradece que salgan juegos solo para disfrutar y reir con la creatividad que tienen los creadores de videojuegos. Tiene cosas similares al "planet to a savage planet", juego que paso algo desapercibido, a pesar de lo bueno y entretenido que es.

    Very good. Solid gameplay, a little repetitive yes, but Solid. Nice and great characters, great humor, sometimes too much, but nothing to worry about, just specific moments.

    The story and plataformas helps to mantein the tittle interesting, and the bosses are good or great.

    Fun, good humor. Would be a ten with just minor improvements in gameplay. If you’re a Rick and Morty fan, this is your brand. Hopefully there’s some DLC, and a bigger sequel.

    Really funny adventure-shooting game. Plays great after Day 1-patch and contains plenty to do incl. 3 full movies. Nice graphics and a massive amount of speech.
