    The game banks it all on the popularity of a different work written by the same people (Rick and Morty) and does nothing to make a fun or at times even playable game. The gun play is slow and unsatisfying, and the modification system does little to help that. For a game thay is primarily a first person shooter this is a mortal sin. The game play itself is the farthest you can get from being innovative with literally every facet being recycled from older games that almost universally did it better. It's not all negative, though. The writing IS good, and prompted a hearty chuckle at times. The scenery is well made and colorful, and the level design functional and has a decent flow.

    Final verdict: good in every area that a player doesn't interact with. Bad in every way that makes it a game. They should stick to writing shows/movies.    … Expand

    I don't think rick n morty is that funny. The shooting gets waaay too repetitive ! I was not a fan of this at all tbh.

    This game doesn't have subtitles in Brazilian Portuguese. The publisher just ignored all Brazilians request to put subtitles to understand the game properly.

    Would rank much much higher if I could get past the second boss without the game glitching. The boss goes beneath the map and is fighting you but both you and the boss are unable to deal damage to one another. This is causing the game to stop progression and be stalled. Things like this make gamepass seem like it's really not a good deal.     The game is a lot of fun and made me laugh countless times, there were times when I paused the game to have time to hold back my laughter, as I really like the humor shown in the TV series "Rick and Morty" (the series that the game was heavily inspired).

    But, frankly analyzing the product, the only aspect that makes the game stand out are the smart and funny lines along with the subtle    The game is a lot of fun and made me laugh countless times, there were times when I paused the game to have time to hold back my laughter, as I really like the humor shown in the TV series "Rick and Morty" (the series that the game was heavily inspired).

    But, frankly analyzing the product, the only aspect that makes the game stand out are the smart and funny lines along with the subtle and bold jokes, which are scattered throughout the plot. And the fact that there is no translation into Portuguese ends up destroying the great advantage of the game for most Brazilians who do not understand the languages made available by the developers, fueling the serious misconception of Americans who faithfully believe that Brazilians understand Spanish fluently.

    (Recalling that the Brazilian game market is one of the largest in the world and it is practically unacceptable that an Indie game as audacious as this one that came out at the end of 2022 comes without translation into Portuguese even though it has support for several other languages).

    Looking at the game from the perspective of someone who doesn't understand the language being spoken, it's a mediocre and even tiring game.    … Expand

    Dialogue is quantity over quality to the extreme (and unskippable). They're trying to tell 100 jokes a minute in the hopes that at least one sticks. At points it felt like the verbal diarrhea was never going to end.

    Big Rick and Morty fan, not the biggest fan of this. Probably because I like Dan Harmon's humor a lot more than Justin Roilands.

    Story and characters are mediocre.     Perfect example on why not fully rely on critics. Really dont know how this fun game takes its spot 68% metacritic. This game is a lot of fun!

    Really aggressively mediocre shooter gameplay. Like just plain boring and the movement items are great because you can get past all the boring combat. But then your stuck either listening to the guns non stop even when adjusting the settings to make them shut up. Or stuck with the game wasting your time with either stupid gameplay or conversations.     I love Rick & Morty, but this game.... Man, i had high hopes. I saw the trailer, i wanted Morties voice in the game, but man was is disappointed. There are some serious performance issues on the pc but lets pretend that everything works fine. The game is utterly boring. Its like a bad shooter from older times.

    Just a big ol' pile of 'meh'. I could excuse lazy, hand-holdy and shallow gameplay if the narrative delivered but the jokes just didn't land with me and the voice acting was repetitive at best and more often irritating as hell. had high expectations based on how funny Trover Saves The Universe was but this is a lemon pie. What a shame.

    Imagine being 8 hours deep in a game and you can't continue... Because of a bug. Just by making a simple google search, you can deduce that thousands of people (at least) experienced the same bug as me. Shame on you, devs ! I'll do my best to    Shame shame shame...     An adorable FPS that looks like a cartoon and plays like a wonder. Witty humour, variety, top notch graphical compartment and wonderful characters. This is a 10 out of 10 hands down.

    * Game is literally unplayable as it will not allow me to rebind the keys. I even Googled how to modify the input.ini file to manually re-code the keys and that didn't work, either. If attempting to modify the bindings in-game, it just gives you a message that you can do it once you're in the game...and I tried that, too - loaded up a game, and once the level started, I went right    Cons:

    * Game is literally unplayable as it will not allow me to rebind the keys. I even Googled how to modify the input.ini file to manually re-code the keys and that didn't work, either. If attempting to modify the bindings in-game, it just gives you a message that you can do it once you're in the game...and I tried that, too - loaded up a game, and once the level started, I went right back into the menu to try to modify the key bindings and same error message.
    * Developers are using Epic Online Services with this game. I don't allow connectivity to Epic's servers from my network. No exceptions - I'll always play games "somewhere else" when Epic Online Services is integrated into the game.

    Pros:

    * None - literally unable to play the game due to the issues with rebinding keys.

    Game Length: Unknown - unable to complete.

    I'm incredibly grateful to have played this on Gamepass so as not to spend any actual money buying it.

    Technical: - The graphics are hideous and it runs like a steaming pile. Too many colors all in a washed out greasy haze, can't differentiate between anything in the environments. The same 4/5 enemies reused over and over and over and over again. The same NPC model reused over and    I'm incredibly grateful to have played this on Gamepass so as not to spend any actual money buying it.

    Writing: If you have to include an option from the get go to have your characters and enemies shut the hell up for two seconds maybe consider right off the bat how asinine and grating your writing is? Repeating the same sentence ad infinitum with stuttering, mumbling and throwing in zany pseudo baby space talk ending in "oopy, gooby, zoopy" etc is exhausting to listen to. There's no structure, jokes or cleverness to any of it, just "HEY WOW LOOK HOW ZANY THIS ALL IS" and then on to the next vomit inducing set piece. Absolute pure garbage    … Expand

    Cant stand the annoying voices or how often they say some stupid Morty line i’ve heard 1000 times already in the same voice. Great concept for a game, HORRIBLE execution.

    I couldn’t play the game long it was irritating and just boring, the weapons telling me what to do while I was doing it and telling me to go over there when I was exploring constantly was awful. I tried several times to like it but even with weapon chatter off it was just a dull game.

    To start with the game broke and was irreparable after an in-game crash, I was to play it for around 4 hours (3rd boss), hence why it has a 0. I wouldn't give this more than a 5 even if I was able to finish the game.

    This is a generic combat/shooter game where the stupid has tried unsuccessfully to take the humour seen in the Rick and Morty series and slap it onto a game, unfortunately it just doesn't work it feels like they are just trying to hard. It reminds me of the failings of Borderlands 3 compared to Borderlands 2 inters of the humour failing flat. As the humour is one of the main "selling points", the so-so combat, mediocre performance and visual fidelity really don't help.

    Overall, maybe pick it up and play if you want a short shooter/platformer to play, but temper your expectations, and consider other games first.    … Expand

    A lowbrow Rick and Morty clone with pseudo-intellectualism as its main offering. Graphics are nice but prepare to lose brain cells with every minute of play.
