    Not too many shooters make me laugh as much as this game. this game is definitely Rick and Morty at it best

    Guns need more variation, loved the story and quests. The world and graphics were visually appealing, with action, comedy, all packed in one metroidvania esque game. You fight a lot of the same enemies (in many shooters), but offer unique bosses and that classic Rick and Morty punchlines! Would recommend to wait until it goes on sale for less than $40.

    The game banks it all on the popularity of a different work written by the same people (Rick and Morty) and does nothing to make a fun or at times even playable game. The game play itself is the farthest you can get from being innovative with literally every facet being recycled from older games that almost universally did it better. It's not all negative, though. The writing IS good, and prompted a hearty chuckle at times. The scenery is well made and colorful, and the level design functional and has a decent flow.

    Final verdict: good in every area that a player doesn't interact with. Bad in every way that makes it a game. They should stick to writing shows/movies.    … Expand

As someone who love's Rick and Morty, it really feels they're really scrapping the bottom of the barrel with these jokes. As for the gameplay, it's pretty bad. Gunplay feels stiff and there's not enough variation in guns or how you go about killing enemies. Overall, the game just sucks. Only reasonMassive disappointment.     Fun. That is all I want in a game, most times. If you like the humor in it, you will love it. You can also quiet down the talking guns and enemies to some extent.
    Fact: a game that truly takes you away from your daily worries and helps you unwind and relax, and laugh. Beautiful!

    Awesome game with good fighting mechanics and a pretty average story but the strongest selling point is the comedic dialogue between characters which any gamer with a sense of humor will enjoy.

    High on life is definitely an unusual experience. Graphic style is really nice and I do actually really enjoyed different planets although unfortunately there aren't many in the game. There is some unnecessary backtracking and some aspects of the game feels little bit stretched out to length the game.     Un juego hermoso gráficamente, innovador a la hora de jugar te da un refresco tanto visual como en jugabilidad su mecánica me gusta mucho el guión excelente lo malo es que está subtitulado al español y sus letras son muy chicas haciéndose difícil para el lector y molestó para el que no tiene ningún nivel en inglés

    For the sheer joy of a few hours in a wacky world with jokes flying fast and thick, this is well worth playing. As part of gamepass, a no brainer. Delighted to see the fun brought back to video gaming.

    Very funny and unique. The gameplay and story are enjoyable too. But really that crazy vibe is the greatest thing about this game. Reminds me of Borderlands 2 which I love.

    Very fun game, nice game to relax and have fun with and the humor is on point and will have you laugh through the game. Wouldn't play it in front of your little ones considering the humor can be a little dark.

    If you enjoy Justin Roiland brand humor you will have a lot of fun with this, almost constantly enjoyable as long as you like the Rick and Morty style of an everchanging mashup of dumb stuff. One of the better first person shooters mainly due to it's style and how hard it leans into its humor, which can be why it isn't for some people.

    Un juego muy divertido, buenos graficos y nada Politicamente correcto. El humor es excelente y la interacción con los personajes. Desde Conker Live and reloaded no jugaba un juego con un toque de comedia. Definitivamente un excelente juego para estos tiempos donde casi no hay esta clase de juegos.

    High On Life es una maravilla de juego cuenta con una gran jugabilidad, historia interesante y un poco turbia sabiendo de que creador viene juegos, un diseño de niveles un poco particular, te mezcla arena de duelo de toda la vida con plataformero, diálogos muy disfrutables e interesantes, se nota las referencias a rick y morty .

    This special game. If you liked the number in the South Park games (Fractured But Whole & Stick of Truth) then this should scratch that itch. The star of the game is the humour, delivered with a familiar cadence from the co-creator of Rick & Morty. The shows on the random tv screens around the hub world are hilarious.     The game-loop is no slouch either, with an addictive and satisfying feel. The bad? I've not run into any glitches yet personally. Aiming can be a bit hit-and-miss (literally). Also down on the D-pad to crouch as default is a crime! Give it a try if you're a fan of Adult Swim humour and engaging action games.

    The game is absolutely beautiful. The dialog is so funny, the story is really fun, the characters design is insanely great, and the gameplay is enjoyable. After the huge disappointment I got from all this year games specially Sony first parties. Grounded and High on Life made this year not that bad!

It looks fantastic graphically playing it at 4k 120fps on mh PC [rtx 4090 + ryzen 7700x] with all max out sometimes i think im watching a pixar movie. At release the game had some shader compilation issues    G

    I find the humor to be very on par with Roilands other ventures, honestly it does not run as bad as other people will say it does, it is a very fun, creative shooter that just gets you through the choppy parts with laughter and cheeky jokes. Its a video game, don't expect God out of this.

    One of the few games that tries to do something completely new, breaking the fourth wall multiple times and being funny at the same time, hilarious game voiced by my favorite actor, the shooting mechanics are new and satisfying, the world design is seriously impressive.

I found it gets a bit to easy towards the end when you start purchasing all the upgrades and gain access to more of the weapons. This could potentially be fixed with updates thou. But other then that it was all good. I really hope we get more Squanch games. The fact this is their 1st title is awesome.     If you are looking for a game with comedy elements, this is probably the game you should go for. but it is a bit short i think it could have been a little longer then it is.

    Would rank much much higher if I could get past the second boss without the game glitching. The boss goes beneath the map and is fighting you but both you and the boss are unable to deal damage to one another. This is causing the game to stop progression and be stalled. Things like this make gamepass seem like it's really not a good deal.     The game is a lot of fun and made me laugh countless times, there were times when I paused the game to have time to hold back my laughter, as I really like the humor shown in the TV series "Rick and Morty" (the series that the game was heavily inspired).

    But, frankly analyzing the product, the only aspect that makes the game stand out are the smart and funny lines along with the subtle    The game is a lot of fun and made me laugh countless times, there were times when I paused the game to have time to hold back my laughter, as I really like the humor shown in the TV series "Rick and Morty" (the series that the game was heavily inspired).

    But, frankly analyzing the product, the only aspect that makes the game stand out are the smart and funny lines along with the subtle and bold jokes, which are scattered throughout the plot. And the fact that there is no translation into Portuguese ends up destroying the great advantage of the game for most Brazilians who do not understand the languages made available by the developers, fueling the serious misconception of Americans who faithfully believe that Brazilians understand Spanish fluently.

    (Recalling that the Brazilian game market is one of the largest in the world and it is practically unacceptable that an Indie game as audacious as this one that came out at the end of 2022 comes without translation into Portuguese even though it has support for several other languages).

    Looking at the game from the perspective of someone who doesn't understand the language being spoken, it's a mediocre and even tiring game.    … Expand

    em pleno 2022 eles trazer um jogo para vender num pais e nao trazer nem uma legenda para o idioma daquele pais e uma falta de respeito estava muito afim de jogar o game mas nao vou jogar por esse motivo

    Dialogue is quantity over quality to the extreme (and unskippable). They're trying to tell 100 jokes a minute in the hopes that at least one sticks. At points it felt like the verbal diarrhea was never going to end.

    The game is crazy the amount of work that must have gone into making every second of the game interactive and responsive to your actions in incredible..And it's not just the insane, off the wall humour that Is great, the gameplay , exploration, world building all hits a high note. The weopens are like nothing else and they give the feel of amazing game like StrangersWrath..Only issues I had would be with the same issues literally every modern game has, performance and polish.. The game runs at 30fps on SX and has noticable graphical issues...To be fair, with motion blur 30 fps isn't as bad as some other games..

    Story and characters are mediocre.
