    I don't know what happened to this one... All of the alphas were SO much better and they weren't even a complete game. I feel like the added a little too much story to it and it overcomplicated it, the whole fun of the game was just running through a gigantic house to try and unlock the basement, there's no need for so much story.     I can't believe how many people are hating this game. This is one of the games that are absolutely interesting. The game choud be acctually better of course, if the developers aren't such lazy and bad by executing it, but it has still recieved a better score than that. I know that there are more HN lovers than haters.

    Now, Reasons why this is somewhere bad:

    - no hints to puzzles
    - bad puzzles
    - plenty of bugs
    - bad made nightmare levels

    The Graphics are fine and the AI is NOT bad. It's not good but also not terrible.
    every person that hates this game, are persons that haven't played it corectely.
    this game series even still has potential that can be used for being better.
    in the new game HN2 was a bit of a failure too, but that doesn't mean than this series lost it's potential + you don't know what happens in the future. You don't know that they coud release a new Patch, new game and so

    This game had some decent potential from the start, but ended up wasting the popularity on a jank filled game. They attempted to add a deep and heavy storyline but ended up failing awfully. The 3rd act in this game is awful, like so bad. It includes a massive house that gives no hints to any puzzles, at all.

The Al was broken, the game required you to go on YouTube, and the game was buggier cyberpunk 2077 1.0 on the base PS4.
    You think they would fix this on release due to the bad critic reviews? That's a funny joke. The game to this day has very positive reviews on steam, all of them are 10 years old. I checked their accounts, they only had Hello Neighbor and the most amazing game ever made.. Secret Neighbor.     Про геймплей я уже рассказал в прошлом пункте , но хочу уточнить пару вещей .
    Мы должны тихо и незаметно пробраться в дом нашего соседа и решать там головоломки , и находить разные вещи для прохождения , хотя не обязательно пытатся делать все тихо , можно и просто бегать по дому от соседа и делать все что я перечислил ранее . но местами вы делаете так только хуже .

    ГРАФИКА :

    Я никогда не оцениваю графику в играх , но хочу уточнить что стиль и графика чисто на любителя , кому то заходит а кто то кидается в нее камнями . В игре используется наполовину мультяшный стиль ,который половина игроков засрала , так как в первой альфе стиль был другой .

    МУЗЫКА :

    О музыке мало что могу сказать , да она приятная , да она атмосферная , но чего то прям особенного в ней нету .

    И вот вы у меня спросите : ,,Если я так сейчас приятно говорил об этой игре , то почему у нее оценка 4.9 ? " .
    А я вам отвечу , у игры есть ряд проблем..

    ПРОБЛЕМЫ :

    У игры есть ряд ошибок , начиная с багов , заканчивая Проблем с ИИ и Физикой . Начнем по порядку :
    БАГИ : В игре есть большое количисто багов , хоть и большая часть из них это редкии или смешные баги , но есть и раздражающие баги .
    ПРОБЛЕМЫ С ИИ : ИИ часто бывает тупым и раздражающим , хоть прям и ужасным назвать его не могу , так как сосед может учится на вашем поведении , хоть эта механника должна была быть лучше .
    ТУПЫЕ ГОЛОВОЛОМКИ : Половина головоломок идеотские, так как они настолько не очевидные и странные что капец , и это не я просто тупой , на это многие жалуются
    ПРОБЛЕМЫ С ФИЗИКОЙ : Тут нечего говорить , физика не очень в этой игре .
    3-Й АКТ : Вы сейчас не понимаете почему я сюда вставил этот пункт , но просто 3-й АКТ является рассадником всех проблем которые я сейчас перечислил , и нет , 3-й АКТ не такой прям ужасным , но просто мне кажется что если бы он был другим , то и у игры оценка была больше .

    Hello Neighbor приносит мне много хороших воспоминаний , и сама игра мне понравилась , но я буду честным и дам этой игре бал : 7/10 .
    Сама игра не плохая , и я бы посоветовал в нее поиграть , но не факт что она вам понравится .    … Expand

    Umm, what were they smoking when they made this game, it felt so glitchy and not fun. I tried so hard to beat this game, and I only got to the second part and I just raged and quit. It was horrible and confusing. It started fine, and fun, but then it got worse and worse. It was laggy and buggy and overall not fun.     i cant recommend this game without a guide past act 1 because there are some nonsensical puzzles that use 2D point and click game logic made worst by the fact that this is a 3d game with a decently sized area to explore in later acts where almost anything is interactable

    El apartado gráfico del juego es bonito y bastante bueno. Sin embargo este juego está lleno de bugs por todos lados. Desde que desaparecen objetos que usas como interacciones mal hechas, lanzas algún objeto a una ventana y se queda bugeado y no lo puedes coger. Por un bug de estos no he podido avanzar en el juego más allá del Acto 3, ni lo he podido terminar ni he podido continuar al ActoEl apartado gráfico del juego es bonito y bastante bueno. Sin embargo este juego está lleno de bugs por todos lados. Desde que desaparecen objetos que usas como interacciones mal hechas, lanzas algún objeto a una ventana y se queda bugeado y no lo puedes coger. Por un bug de estos no he podido avanzar en el juego más allá del Acto 3, ni lo he podido terminar ni he podido continuar al Acto Final ya que se me ha bugeado una tubería y no funciona la salida de agua. Es inadmisible que habiendo pagado este juego no lo pueda ni terminar. Las mecánicas del juego están bien, quizá a veces demasiado repetitivas, muy poco intuitivo el juego, tendrás probablemente que consultar vídeos porque habrá partes que ni puedas completar sin ayuda porque no es nada intuitivo, pero bueno es tu decisión si te la juegas a comprarlo y que se te bugee y no lo puedas ni terminar dejándolo a la mitad.… Expand

    This game is literally a disaster. It’s bugged as hell, the graphics are ugly, controls are horrible and the neighbors ai is just dumb, it’s even an insult calling it an ai. I have to admit tho that in act 1, I actually wanted to know what’s inside the basement. That’s it.

    It would be better if the game was free and not 20 dollars. I still don’t know how people like this buggy hell.

    I will make this as simple as possible. The concept is great but the execution is awful. I guarantee you will enjoy watching somebody else play this more than playing this yourself. Don't waste your money or time.

    I really love the game i would giving it an 11 out of 10.

    The only problem is the act 3/ alpha 3 house. It is just stupid platforming and it took me half an hour to get the green key. But i dont care about this, because i LOVE act 1 and act 2. This is real fun i dont know why you voted that bad for this game.

    Мне очень нравился Hello Neighbro ALPHA-2. После выхода Альфы 3 я перестал интересоваться игрой. Когда игра вышла в полную версию я снова стал в неё играть. Пройдя игру я не испытал нечего кроме пустоты. Я не скажу что игра ужасная, но то что меня в ней зацепила уже не вернуть.
    Плюсы: Интересный геймплей, Неплохие головоломки, интересно придуманный первый акт,
    Минусы: Графика (мне    Мне очень нравился Hello Neighbro ALPHA-2. После выхода Альфы 3 я перестал интересоваться игрой. Когда игра вышла в полную версию я снова стал в неё играть. Пройдя игру я не испытал нечего кроме пустоты. Я не скажу что игра ужасная, но то что меня в ней зацепила уже не вернуть.

In addition to the neighbor's house, other locations are not involved. The gameplay is poor. Lots of freezes, bugs. But the game is about 10 hours of playthrough.

    Hello Neighbor is very good game for me. I know it's so buggy but I love this game with all bugs. Sometimes you can have escapes that can excite you. No game will ever replace Hello Neighbor for me. I recommend you to try.

    One of the worst games I've ever played. The "puzzles" are a lame excuse that have no creativity. One section has a part where you have to take a painting off the wall to expose a hole. No other painting in the game can be removed, how the heck am I supposed to know that one can be removed. Do not play. Developer be ashamed.

    Very disappointing. It could've been so much better. The story is confusing, way too kid-friendly to be a horror game, too buggy, and the graphics suck. It's a little fun, but way too confusing

    A laughably bad game which sadly seemed pretty interesting at the beginning but ultimately destroyed any potential that it had .Now its a boring story with really bad gameplay mechanics and the graphics look like something a 12 year old did in blender.Avoid

    I was really intrigued by this as I do enjoy puzzle games and it looked quite quirky and different. In my opinion, the game could have been really successful, but it has a huge flaw. It is far, far too difficult. Honestly, I would get stuck, watch a Youtube tutorial and just think "how would I have ever known to have done that" - over and over again. This isn't even me being dumb - I amI was really intrigued by this as I do enjoy puzzle games and it looked quite quirky and different.     The early versions of this game were much scarier, creepier, and even had their own cartoonish and at the same time serious style. What happened is if one of the unsuccessful versions of the game, if alpha 2 has not changed the style of play, the game would be much better. This game saddened me because at first it seemed cool to me, but the final version is just awful

    I love this game. It's really amazing and good optimalized. There is three bad things:
    -This game is really short
    -Act 3 is same like beta 4, without any bug fixes,
    -It's too expensive.
    Everything else is good for me.

    In fact, it's a shame that such a good game, so poorly evaluated. I personally liked the game and bugs I wasn't really paying attention. After all, the essence of the game is not in the number of bugs, but in the plot, which no one here has disassembled, but simply called the game bad. (I used a translator, so there may be mistakes)

    Things are changed up a bit in this newer release of the game...
    The original version there were tons of exploits for you to be able to take shortcuts and speed through parts of this game...
    some exploits do exist but a few have been fixed such as the first level having a satellite dish in front of the area that everyone was jumping to and basically skipping most of the first act… however I feel the game is mostly to blame for this…
    This game will take you 6 to 7 hours to go through without shortcuts or knowing locations of the keys…
    The story takes place across 3 acts and one finale.. Your goal is to essentially find items and keys to help you get to new locations in an area... things start out decently simple and get more convoluted as you go one..
    For some reason players and critics alike don’t really seem to like this game but I feel like it’s actually pretty neat...
    there’s an interesting story here told through cut scenes and the occasional flash back moments when you die too many times, you’re getting the story of both you and your neighbor...
    who by the way is doing all he can to ensure you don’t succeed in collecting these items and keys or solving the puzzles in his yard and basement..
    This feels very much like an old school early 2000s game with a modern polish...
    Not to say this game is polished... it has its bugs glitches and hiccups, but for what it is its pretty solid…
    you’re free to explore the area completely however it’s up to you to figure out how it get into locked doors or find windows to climb through,
    This old school feel and freedom is the games downfall as well..
    This game explains nothing to you, it shows you a key in an attic and just lets you go... how are you going to get it… you have to figure things out on your own and for that reason many players will accidentally break the game and miss parts of it, hello neighbor does a really poor job of leading the player along or hinting towards solutions, this is what makes the game so special but what also makes it so frustrating…
    This isn’t the game’s biggest problem though...
    That lies in the hands of the over used neighbor...
    at first dealing with this neighbor is terrifying... He means almost certain death until you figure out how to dodge and set up escape routes in case he spots you... but the problem is at least during the house sections of the game... he’s seemingly everywhere...
    I’m not sure if he’s spawned into areas, but I’m almost certain he is… this means you never really get a moment away from him and therefor the game never allows tension to build... Its constant inch towards progress get caught rinse and repeat… instead of steak around his home, find out what’s going on. What you need to deal with or figure out to unlock the next part of this map, hide when he gets near and then goes back to his set path....
    I think this is key to great stealth…
    Sure you can disrupt paths... but the enemy should always return to their set paths and have a bit of predictability to allow the player to feel they are outsmarting the enemy rather than constant distract and run
    This could’ve been a way better game with this in mind.. It has the potential to be a 3d little nightmares game…
    I still enjoyed it for it was... clearly more than everyone else did...
    The stealth bit of this stealth game though doesn’t really exist...

Just one thing: The game felt overprized. No really If there would've been more content than just those 3 different houses it would be so much better.     The concept of the game is great but it's current state is terrible. It's filled with bugs, the AI (which is one of it's big selling points) is unpredictable, and it still feels like it's in alpha state.

    Hello Neighbor is a wonderfully surreal cat and mouse game with a mysterious stranger who has something to hide in an unnervingly over constructed suburban mansion. For those who are willing to search out the truth there is a dark tale of horror that hides in this particular neighbour's basement.

    An Indie Horror well elaborated, I spent about 2 hours exploring the house, a lot that was not discovered, its gameplay is a bit bad and the neighbor has a bugged Artificial Intelligence, but, the game is in Alpha
