    I am shocked to see people aren’t enjoying this as much as I did. I literally give it a perfect score. Captures everything about the old games, addresses the faults of the last couple, and sets the characters forward in a way that’s new. Amazing ending, I was blown away. And the gameplay!!!! Top notch. I’ll be playing this game forever

First off, the game actually worked at release, which is amazing for a 2021 game title. The gameplay is exceptional and addicting, I can't stop playing multiplayer and the campaign is a solid single player experience worth playing. Just finished the campaign 9/10 on that part but controller starts randomly putting in inputs at random idk if it's PC or my controller but overall great game.     В основе своей тот же хейло только лучшие. И как же приятно в неё играть. Ты не чувствуешь не минуты потерянного времени. Ты просто получаешь удовольствие от игры.(хейвиш фан как у нас в деревне говорят) Вроде так мало, но учитывая всё то что выходит последнее время эта игра ощущается как свежий воздух.     Если вам как и мне после окончания компании хейло хотелось ещё. То теперь есть такая возможность благодаря открытому миру.
    Хотя местами ощущается как будто из за открытого миро "ИИ" стал глупее, в сюжетнах же коридорах "ИИ" чуть умнее. Быть может мне показалось.
    И тот факт что морпехи теперь не могу управлять транспортом из за того же открытого мира тоже разочаровывает
    Но в целом отличная игра. Просадок не было. Баги очень редкие и скорее были веселые. Играл на ПК с характеристиками

    Best Halo from 343i IMO. The campaign is engaging, the open world is well designed and fun to explore. Gunplay is great. Multiplayer is ton of fun but needs a playlist adjustment. I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Don't trust all the hate it's having. It's a bunch of "halomasterrace" toxic fans. The game is superb, the community is not.

    The game has been fantastic to play with quite honestly 343's best Halo game to date. The open world sandbox allows for a lot of exploration of Halo's current storyline and fun and unique ways to kill enemies. The movement system is super smooth and a lot of fun to mess with.     Кампания что-то среднее, файты с боссами на сложном режиме мое почтение, сюжет неплохой, текстурки и модельки выглядят отлично, а вот в открытом мире графика страдает. Сделали мы они весь упор на коридорный шутер добавив больше механик и разнообразия, то цены бы просто им не было, а так потраченное время на открытый мир себя не оправдало.     Took my time and played it through thoroughly and will again a few more times for skulls and extras, there is alot to be said, but in terms of gameplay it was stunning and made it feel like im playing a true halo game again but with a modern open world design with alot of lore and alot of audio logs and dialogue.     Graphics: Phenomenal and overwhelming, amazingly crafted and beautiful game overall. the graphics i can see ray tracing and everything and its just... breathtaking. So on this note ignore the reviews calling it trash, because this was played with an RTX 3080.

    Gameplay: Gameplay was stellar and really fun, the gunplay, vehicles and just getting around and playing the games objectives how you want is exactly what i wanted from a halo game in this day and age.

    Story: The games story was fun, open and thrilling, they didn't wipe the past 2 games, but never tried to bring them up much either, instead they owned those mistakes of the past games and made them better. For those who finished (Spoiler), there is going to be Expansions, this is a 10 year title and we were given a beautiful cliffhanger and im excited and thrilled for the future content.

    Overall this game is a return to proper form for the series, and this world is only going to keep growing, don't let negative reviews ruin your personal experience, jump in and play and have fun, and most of all to please please take your time and not rush the game    … Expand

    This is a true Halo game after Reach, but also has the best Halo sandbox till date. Hopefully this will lead to sth better in the future.

    I have played 8hours of this game in PC, just to test it and see where I should play it. And a other 20 or so in console. With a 2080 graphic card, it runs smoothly and I havent had any big issue so far. And the game is amazing, so I totally recommend it, just give it a try with gamepass and once you fall in love with it, you can try to buy it later

Couple things would be nice to have, like Active Camo and Overshield in Campaign and maybe friendly AI driving vehicles (though I still have PTSD from the Halo Reach is driving me off a cliff 4/5 times),but other than that I have nothing but praise for this game.Best halo game ever made!     Looks good so far. Storytelling seems to be inspired by Halo 4 and some Halo 3, Open-World and Combat are obviously inspired by Halo 3 and Halo CE. Best boss fights of any Halo. Solid.

    To kick this off Halo infinite is one the most fun games I've ever played in a long time Beating Call of duty, battlefield, RB6, Splitgate, and close to beating Apex Legends. The Spartan customization is really fun giving us all sorts of Lore-friendly Armors from the spartan programs respectively so creating my own spartan is an amazing experience bringing something original but close to home like in Halo Reach. Armor, weapons, and vehicle coatings are also very important which add a deeper level of customization to the game which is a big plus for me compared to the regular color picker from previous installations. music is kick-ass and adds a lot to the immersive experience to wrap up fun 10/10 from casuals to sweats everyone CAN HAVE FUN IN THIS GAME. 5/5

    The campaign is really different this time around giving you the main antagonist sort of but at the same time you're facing an entire enemy fleet, John 117 feels ALIVE no more green robo killing machine giving you answers for things in the past games and the lore but also inviting the new players into the franchise linear but not but also includes allottt of exploration sort of like Gears of War 5 this installment of the campaign really ties you into who the master chief really is 4/5

    it ties you in direct y with the story leaving you satisfied but also wanting more

    Polish of the game has been NIGHT AND DAY Comparing the 2019/2020 videos and the early tech test builds this game has come a longggg way Graphically from Foilage, God Rays, Shadows + lighting, and armor materials EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REVAMPED and built to look beautifully ESPECIALLY WITH RTX ON the game just looks incredible finessing a HALO art style AT THE SAME time no too cartoony, not over-detailed but polished in "HALO" just looking at it you KNOW it's a halo game comparing this to halo 5 and 4 the art styles were not there truthfully but yall delivered 5/5 343

    The game mechanics are actually really solid we have great movement, from sliding to jumping and nothing really to complain about the Grapple hook feels just at home taking mechanics of momentum from the titan fall/ apex series which many of us are familiar with. the return of gadgets and notabilities was a great move that keeps the game BALANCED and allows the tables to be turned on either side. the only thing many people seem to dislike is the melee but it just seems reminiscent of Halo 3 melee no comments on this. Dropping weapons, ping system, Momentum throwing the flag or the oddball, and pretty much everything works well grenades feel a bit extra bouncy in this installation but its something to get a bit used to overall 4/5

    Multip[layer content such as Item shop and game event modes +battle pass can be pretty lackluster the item shop is overpriced IMO but it is a free game ...so understandable. the lack of in-game currency in the battle pass actually gets me a bit ticked off and the weekly rewards arent all the way there yet 1 week it's good the next its garbo town emblem cosmetic on the other hand the battle pass is worth every $1 as IT NEVER EXPIRES and all the cosmetics are new and old classics we know and love from halo 3, reach and even some 4 and 5 favorites never the less overpricing of the item shop is still an issue and lack of events just can create a sad rotation of oddball , slayer and CTF

    Hard to believe, but it's the best Master Chief tribute to date. - Open-World well done - Gameplay/Gunplay extraordinary (Doom Eternal quality) - No bugs, glitches, crashes (running on 5950x + 3090 on an NVME,    (this is solely a campaign review, I did not yet dive in to the MP - I will also note that I am a fan of Halo and have played ALL Halos on Heroic, except Halo 5 (PC Gamer))

    - Open-World well done
    - Gameplay/Gunplay extraordinary (Doom Eternal quality)
    - No bugs, glitches, crashes (running on 5950x + 3090 on an NVME, so it's highend - lower speccs reportedly lead to performance issues, you might want to wait until that is fixed with a patch)
    - The world is full of details to various franchises and there are a load of references to older Halos
    - The story is fun and well done (have not yet finished the game, but currently are in the last chapter)
    - The graphics are amazing. Finally, a Halo with 2021 graphics. The details are amazing. On a 4K OLED TV... glorious. Simply glorious.
    - The sound is also well-made, if you can play this on a dedicated surround sound setup - DEW IT!

    It's just a shame that this game does not have coop at launch, I would love to play this campaign with friends. That's why I will only give 9, not 10 stars.    … Expand

The multiplayer is also pretty good besides some marketing problems and the challenge system which are both being improved and 343 has already done great changes to make XP gain better. The multiplayer sandbox is so much fun and I just hope 343 adds moreThis is game amazing and a true reform to halo. The gameplay and gunplay are amazing and modern while trying to make sure that it still plays like a Halo game.     This game is so fun and takes Halo into a completely new and exciting direction and is a very posotive change from Halo 5 with the story as it keeps up consistent plot points interesting narratives and well structure dialogue while keeping the whole experience streamlined and not feeling like its dragging on. Love this game from 343i and would like to say keep it up!! 10/10 Would Recommend!

    The campaign is like if you made The Cartographer into a massive open world. I really like hunting down HVTs with a squad of marines    Pretty good! The multiplayer feels like Halo 3 and Halo Reach combined, which is a combo that can't be beat. The return to the 3 and Reach era design is nice, too. The only thing holding this back from a 10 for me is the lack of playlists, to be honest.

    The campaign is like if you made The Cartographer into a massive open world. I really like hunting down HVTs with a squad of marines and clearing out bases. The purple icon missions feel like "classic" Halo campaign missions, with intense firefights and cool structures to explore. Much like BOTW, the story takes a backseat to the gameplay here (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

    I have played Halo since the initial release of Halo: Combat Evolved. After just finishing the primary story in the campaign, I must admit that I am blown away: captivated. The campaign is only rivaled by it's competitive multiplayer experience. After the flop of Halo 5 and my distaste of Halo 4, I had hopes for Halo Infinite. I am happy to say that this game tied things together in justI have played Halo since the initial release of Halo: Combat Evolved.     Love all the fake game reviews, game is imo great. Multiplayer have been out for three weeks and even I can see there are things the need to work on but the core gameplay is there. So far I’m really enjoying the campaign as well.

    Halo Infinite has either 2 options:

    -Destroy modern battle royales bringing back a classic fps with a good campaign and many multiplayer modes, becoming once again a legendary game with a mature community.
    OR
    -Join them, with battle royale modes or too much focus on battle pass and micro transactions, and be soon forgotten.

    For the moment, looks like it is going the right way.

    The game runts great, I played it on a laptop with a 3080 Mobile and i9-11900K, don't think I ever saw framerate under 80 FPS but I do also have 2 raided M2's.     As for the weapons arsenal, by the end one only uses alien weapons, human weapons will somehow run out together with ammunition. The base system is not bad, ideal for a starting position for exploring the map. But if you don't like the open world again. Will it be a problem. As for the equipment of John himself, definitely improve the shield to the maximum, anchor to the maximum (40% cooldown will get you practically anywhere, if you don't already have a Wasp open) and then it's up to you. There is more Spartan code on the map than you need for improvements.

    When I compare it with the campaign with the new CoD, despite the bad open world, I had fun. I drowned 18 hours in the campaign (if it was a corridor, we were talking about 8-9 hours), I had fun. Enemies are definitely not boring. And who knows the Halo series will be pleased. Overall, I would rate the campaign at a nice 7.5, as part of the Game Pass you can add an extra point because the new game on the day of release for ridiculous money.

    If we go back to MP, he's a great, hectic, good old Halo. Don't expect anything more. The advantage and disadvantage is the F2P model and de facto the 1st season in the Game Pass. But even there I would go to 8 out of 10.

    So I would leave the overall rating at 80%. It's definitely not a great game, I personally don't even consider it the best part of Halo. But charismatic heroes and their enemies. Great dubbing and an interesting story make it a game that will either suit you or you will simply turn it off after viewing the open world. Nothing more, nothing less.    … Expand

    Looks and plays great on PC. Well worth the Pc GAME PASS and well worth the wait. Multiplayer cosmetics could be better but gameplay is great and that’s all I need. It’s old school.

    Great game! A lot of the negative reviews are coming from people who only play the free to play multiplayer. The campaign was a lot of fun, you can be creative in so many ways and outside of the main quest there is a lot of things to do! I've played Halo since the first xbox, and this was easily one of the best. Highly recommended

    This is as good of a Halo as the Bungie era. In Halo 5, 343 had developed great gameplay mechanics and hit detection, but they veered away from Halo’s story. Infinite keeps the great mechanics from 5, and brings back the heart and soul of Halo.

    I had a great time playing the campaign and I am still playing the multiplayer. The story is really good and the gameplay is just perfect. I love Halo and Halo Infinite is absolutely amazing. I am extremely satisfied with it and I recommend everyone play it.

    It is time to retire master chief. This is by far the best halo campaign in a long time, but the weakest narrative and much of it is brought down by our dead serious green armored super soldier.     It is time to retire master chief. This is by far the best halo campaign in a long time, but the weakest narrative and much of it is brought down by our dead serious green armored super soldier. Chief has never been a man of many words and the voice acting is not but he is so insufferably cold he is unfun to play as. By far one of the least likable characters to play as, chief would serve better as an NPC than a primary character. A majority of the game your AI does the talking, and you respond with one word answers. It makes the AI look more compelling and the supporting cast seem more reasonable than chief. Chief does not feel like a hero, especially with this plot, he just feels stale.

    The gameplay however, does make up for this with one major exception which I will knock out right away. There is no ammo in this game, anywhere. You are forced to swap weapons constantly or else you just won't be able to shoot. There are ammo boxes scattered around for various types of ammo but they're never put intelligently and your ammo reserves are so unbelievably small for some guns. The UNSC shotgun holds 7 in the magazine and 7 in reserve, it is essentially a useless gun due to this.

    However, the ammo scarcity is annoying but once again does not ruin the excellent evolution this game has had. Linear levels still exist, but a vast majority of the game is open and allows you to take your own approach to things, much like a far cry or just cause. Halo greatly benefits from this, but its not supremely in depth. There are several "skills" you unlock and each one can be upgraded with skill points, you can play the entire game without ever upgrading any of these and it is still fine, but upgrading the ones you use the most does add some great benefits, I found that the grapple was the only one of steady use even when upgraded but the others were tossed in occasionally and did have their use every few hours or missions.

    The world is well made but as many others have pointed out, is very one dimensional, its all one giant biome, no diversity and while i don't enjoy it, it's not awful. The amount of side missions and things to do is well spread out and the world changes as you do these which feels great. There is a lack of vehicle gameplay in the game generally, as most missions take you into a structure and then you spend your time traveling through narrow hallways which lead into basically wider hallways over and over. The final few levels don't do that, which is great but much of the gam e does do that.

    First thing with the guns is the sound is incredible, flawless, the sound designers for this game did fantastic, everything sounds perfect. The gun variety however sucks in my opinion, in multiplayer its actually rather fine for that, but in single player there are very few strengths and trade offs to make, some guns are just worthless but you have to use them due to no ammo, or they're just great and need nothing else. I found a majority of the game was spent with the mauler and headshotting enemies. Many classic halo guns and vehicles just don't make appearances which is kind of disappointing but there are some welcome additions. There are unique guns that can be acquired through various means and they never quite explain what the advantages are to that gun and why it differs. I was unable to refill ammo for one by passing over a normal version of the gun which was incredibly frustrating.

    Boss fights are a welcome addition, however some fights were incredibly frustrating for little to no reason and their execution wasn't fantastic, many of them felt like 4 phased bullet sponges. You just shoot it for a quarter health, it turns invulnerable and does some dialogue and then you can start shooting again. They're not perfect, but they do break things up and I can't say they're a complete waste of time, many of my favorite moments occurred during these.

    Cutscenes were fantastic quality, they decided to not do any loading screens for them and I believe they're all rendered as if it were in game, its very seamless and transitions straight to gameplay most of the time. A majority of these however are just holograms, which is rather bland at times but that in part is due to chief being a bad character for narrative.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm not even sure where to begin writing this review. There are just so many good things to talk about. I guess I'll start with the cinematics since the first thing we're introduced to is a phenomenal cutscence. The game looks absolutely gorgeous, even during gameplay. Beautiful game in that category. Since I mentioned gameplay I might as well talk about it. This campaign was a great joy to play, I loved every minute of it (well, I played on legendary and died a lot which was upsetting but that was my own fault). It was just so much fun to load up a razorback with Marines and go hunt the VIP targets or sabotage Banished operations with them. The dialogue between Marines was done very well and the Banished dialogue gave me plenty of chuckles. The driving felt a bit off at times, especially with the scorpion but it wasn't enough for me to quit playing, just a slight annoyance at the most. But something that was actually very pleasant was the music. The music synced up perfectly with the situation you were currently in, whether it be at a FOB, assaulting a Banished base, or in a more serious setting during a cinematic. The music absolutely blew me away, even during times when I was just walking through hallways or exploring an empty room, the music did an excellent job at setting the mood and really made me feel like I was in the moment. The atmosphere and tone were near perfection. Finally the story (minor spoilers maybe), probably the only reason this game doesn't get five stars from me. I understand damage control needed to be done after *cough* Halo 5 *cough* and I haven't listened to all of the audio logs yet as the open world is pretty large and I haven't found them all. But there were some parts that just seemed tedious. Why do I have to walk to the next room that's 20 feet away to get a power seed to power up a machine to unlock a door? I get that it was supposed to make it seem like the Banished were trying to slow us down, but they weren't trying very hard if that was the case. Just a minor inconvenience. And the second fight with Adjutant Resolution wasn't really necessary it seemed, I thought we had killed him in the first fight anyway. Besides the unnecessary steps or tiny little fetch quests, the characters in the story were phenomenal. Master Chief felt like Master Chief again, man of few words and felt like a war machine, like what he was created to be. But it was also nice to see him relate to Fernando Esparza when the pilot had a breakdown. Which brings me to character development. It was done so well in this game. In the beginning of the game the pilot was worried and scared and just looked hopeless, probably how we all would have felt if we were in his position. But at the end of the game he was joyful and happy and constantly smiling, probably because he realized they actually did have a chance with Master Chief around. The voice acting was top notch, it really helped paint a picture of the differences between the Banished (Escharum) and humanity (Master Chief). The banished were hothead and cocky as they had believed they already won, while humanity was calm and collected while they tried to figure out how to turn things around. In the end, I really enjoyed this campaign and went in expecting it to just be a hot pile of garbage as I've come to expect of Halo campaigns recently, but I was pleasantly surprised when I found myself getting lost in the open world or finding myself connecting with the story.     Gorgeous graphics. This is a great 'reset' of the Halo franchise. 343 did a great job of bringing Halo into the current generation of FPS. Multiplayer is a most play. The single player story is great. I look forward to seeing how they will continue to add to the story through different seasons, over time.

    I fricking loved it. Its basically like Halo 1 on crack and the story is good for long time fans. Its like theyre cleaning the slate of 4 and 5 and setting up for more campaigns. If u havent played Halo the story will confuse you a little bit but its worth playing either way.

I haven't seen a single lag- nobody is hanging in the air or teleporting around.
    I didn't like the way they designed new Covenant enemies, so I didn't get a singleplayer campaign. Multiplayer is awesome, though, I do recommend it.    … Expand

The campaign is a decent length and is in FACT longer than previous titles. The speculative lighting is a wonderful low resource intensive alternative to Ray Tracing but afaik has not been done in any other game. So the graphics are good the game is beautiful af. Ray Tracing is supposedly coming in a future update. (The most valid complaint I have is the Diversity of the Open world. Halo infinite's world is broken into different Islands, These Islands are ALL different but only in subtle ways, The lack of Biome diversity is Canon and is entwined in the story because Master Chief does not explore the entire ring only a small section. Zeta Halo itself has EVERY possible biome on the Ring so I hope future story expands on this further.

    The gunplay and combat in the game is better than everything out right now and feels punchy and juicy. Often hilarious and epic the game is faithful to the core of what made previous Halo games enjoyable and runs with it. Forge, Co-Op, Customs, and many Playlists didn't make it to launch but if that content is even half as good as the rest of the game they still nailed it.

    Normally I wouldn't comment on this but there is a lot of misinfo/ toxicity surrounding this game.

    1) Negative review directly gloss over the Fact that the Multiplayer is FREE. but are acting like 343 owes them something.

    2) Negative Reviews Say 343 doesn't deserve to make a Halo Game but don't realize how much of the original talent and creatives of Bungie now work for 343

    3) Negative Reviews say that it is the worst game in the industry for consumer friendly practice but Halo infinite only monetizes cosmetics and in bundles too. The game is free. There is no locked content. 343 has stated they are in the process of tweaking the monetization and storefront. All other AAA shooters, APEX/COD/FORTNITE/VAL are much worse with their monetization.

    Battle passes NEVER expire in Halo infinite. Their is much less FOMO or artificial scarcity of cosmetics compared to other shooters in general. So in reality Halo Infinite is about as fair as you could expect from a F2P live service.

    Many Negative review say there is a lack of playlists or game modes or content. These reviews are from the BETA or launch week of the game. The Beta was a surprise. People got the game a whole 2 weeks early and still don't know how to have fun. ass of 12/15/2021 they have been adding new playlists to the game so it only took 7 days to resolve that complaint and source of review bombs. It is a live service game so it will continue to add content with each season.

    The Core gameplay is fun as all hell. and at the end of the day that's what matters. The story is very engaging and is accessible to both old and new players. If someone has to go out of their way to review a game a 0 and say its boring their is a bias. Idk anyone who gets bored with a game that's free and goes out of their way to negbomb.

    开放世界部分做的太拉了，载具几乎没有作用，全地形车不能全地形，天蝎号不能压倒一颗小树，不过如果你当开放世界没有的话还是可以当线性来玩的，多人合作战役也被砍了，但这次枪的打击感和手感都很棒，建模和光影都是顶级的，总的来说，在 2021 年我认为这是最好的 3A FPS 游戏了

    Multiplayer is fun, balanced, and engaging. The story is pretty good in campaign and I know future story installments are coming. Graphically the game is excellent for a sci-fi shooter. It should be hyper realistic, so it strikes a great balance between realism and animated. All in all a great game. Would have been a 10, but progression in multiplayer is awful.     Halo Infinite is the best shooter of 2021. With much anticipation from the fans, 343 Industries brought a great multiplayer experience and a story as a love letter to the Halo series. With some bold innovations, the game pulls all the best from previous iterations and makes it into one of the best FPS games in recent history.

    Halo Infinite was supposed to become a flagship title for “the most powerful console in the world,” but in reality we got an interlude of a story devoid of epic set pieces, a template for something greater that may or may not arrive in the future, an empty “open world” punctuated with interior design circa early 2000s. If not for the awesome shootouts, Master Chief should have been jettisoned back into space.

    The new Halo game is far from flawless. There’s no co-op, even though there should be, and there’s a boring open world, even though there shouldn’t. The multiplayer feels unfinished as well. Still, at its core, it’s a solid story-driven shooter with a more-than-acceptable Cortana replacement.
