    This game is just perfect for both old halo fan and the newcomers like me where this is my first halo game ever. The campaign can be played in different ways like any other open world game either speedrun or completion and the f2p multiplayer with decent game modes and more coming (because that’s what 343 said in the internet) can benefit everyone who can’t afford any game atm but gamepassThis game is just perfect for both old halo fan and the newcomers like me where this is my first halo game ever.     Gotta love these fake user reviews. This game is honestly amazing. They finally managed to make a halo game feel modernized without taking away what makes it so great. Personally, Its the best game i have played this year.

    Completed the campaign completely, got crazy fun, an open world, not big and not small, but one that you liked exactly, the weapon is good, and the plot is not bad

    This game basically contains the classic Halo mechanics but in a more expanded world. The level design is not the best in the franchise but it is satisfactory.

    The campaign gets stale very quickly. If they had coop I don't think it would be as bad, but as is they have not released the coop yet. The multi-player on the other hand is good enough that they deserve an eight out of ten

    The campaign is just amazing, Zeta Halo is just beautiful, I loved the story, the sandbox and the combat feels good!
    The multiplayer is maybe the best in the series, the map design is great, and the gunplay... easily the best in the series, it feels like almost every gun has its place in the game.
    The current amount of content may be a little limited, but it's enough to make you play for    The campaign is just amazing, Zeta Halo is just beautiful, I loved the story, the sandbox and the combat feels good!

    A review to counter the review bomb. Silly kids wouldn't know a good game if it SLAPPED them in the face. It's good, play it, campaign is good, yes it's worth the price on PC. I paid 90$ for cyberpunk so paying 90$ for a good game I want more of hopefully counteracts the evil I did.

    Awesome, can’t understand why the hate, is really so good. Needs some bug fixing, but it deserves better. 8/10 but I’m giving it a 10 to offset some ridiculous 0 ratings. Like people don’t understand the concept. If it is a 0 it would mean it has the worst graphics, gameplay, sound, etc and is never fun in any way. That’s just a lie.

    Everything is very well optimized and the campaign/ story is fun and engaging and the mp has pretty fun moments, however this game has a severe lack of content that needs to be fixed soon before the player base drops do to the lack of new content and terrible progression system.

    I'm impressed by the AI which is really good. Graphics are nice without being awesome. But this game is boring, sad but true. Story isn't interessant, and as soon as you reach the open map, everything seems dull.

    Great campaign, amazing gameplay mechanics (best halo ever in terms of gameplay), and the multiplayer is fun. Although there are still issues they need to fix such as the progression system and game mode playlists, halo infinite is still an amazing game!

    Great game. Minus all the fuss regarding multiplayer it is a solid Halo game. Campaign is better then what 343 has done in the past. Multiplayer has a solid base to evolve and getter better. No idea why people are trying to review bomb this. Dillusional Halo fans that expect games to be tailored to their needs or salty playstation players.

    This is a decent game. The core gameplay is fun but there are many things holding this game back. The story is rather disinteresting and the few characters there are, I don't find very compelling. Honestly the characters whine too much in this game, they don't really feel like they belong in such an alien setting. I beat it on legendary and its seems like a very short campaign unless you flesh it out with the boring open world objectives. All in all this is my favorite halo by 343, so hopefully they continue down the path of try to bring halo to its roots somewhat. Also please make the next campaign more linear.i can't deal with halo just being open world from now on.… Expand

    I know people hate Halo 5 the most, especially "thanks" to the same bossfight you get thrown into every now and then, and yet had way more fun with that game compared to Infinite.     The best thing about Halo Infinite is the graphics. It runs great and looks very good!
    Sound design, for me, is a hit and miss as always. Weapons still sound very weak (but better than before at least) and ambient sound is still great.

    EDIT: first rated it as 8/10 because i thought it still had potential. Then the open world made me realise how all of this game is just filler and no material. Go from A to B. Kill some aliens.     Xbox once again proves that they are best of the best and no other console can get even close. Sure Sony has had hit games in past, but most of them are extremely linear "movie-games". Spider-Man was fun i guess, but overall Sony games are meh. No offence. Halo Infinite shows how you should write characters and story, make world fun and interesting and especially, make gameplay fun.

    The best part of Halo from 343. Thanks to the developers for getting the series back on track and returning the fans to the feeling of the old Halo that Bungie made. We have been waiting for this game for a long time and are glad that one of the creators of the series has returned to it. Great gameplay, catchy music, an intriguing plot.

    I gave it a 10 cuz ppl are spamming 0 out of 10 because sony fanboys get joy from low microsoft scores.

    Overall amazing game, one complaint tho, i wish Weapon was more naked, like Cortana in Halo 4, just for that true Halo experience, but overall it's great. And tbh Weapon makes up for it with her nice personality, she is really funny and likable and feels more human (irony) than some female characters in some Sony games, that's how you write female characters, Naughty Dog should take notes.

    The story is pure stupidity and makes no sense at all. Horrible plot, voice acting, and Pacing is all over the place. The multiplayer is so dull and uninspired. Just another boring arena shooter. Nothing new to it. Maps are almost as bad as Battlefield 2042s maps. It's crazy how 343 has ruined the franchise.

    The multiplayer is filled with paywall customization that should've just been bundled with the campaign but 343 decided that it would be a great idea to make the mp f2p which really hurts the game series. Not a big fan of open world games anymore as almost every developer team thinks that's the best way to do campaigns now. Wish it was linear like previous halo titles.

    horrible optimización en pc. como puede ser que esto funcione en una xbox one original y no en mi pc? donde todos los juegos que he probado del gamepass fucionan en alto o ultra a mas de 100fps.

    played through on easy, loved it. good story, good variety of gameplay/weapons and what not. playing through on heroic now and its def quite a bit harder but still manageable so far. tremonius gave me some trouble in the beginning but once i got to the open areas it was a bit easier to get my bearings since i could get my usual gear from the FOBs. pretty awesome game, its a shameplayed through on easy, loved it. good story, good variety of gameplay/weapons and what not. playing through on heroic now and its def quite a bit harder but still manageable so far. tremonius gave me some trouble in the beginning but once i got to the open areas it was a bit easier to get my bearings since i could get my usual gear from the FOBs. pretty awesome game, its a shame people are review bombing instead of just playing it and being unnecessarily immature… Expand

    The campaign is the best campaign since the original 3 games, and it feels incredible. All of the mechanic additions they've added make the game feel fresh without changing what Halo actually is. But despite that it feels incredible and over time this game will be insane.

    I'm not finished with the campaign yet so things may change, but I do have 23 hours of play time with about 4 of that in campaign and i'm absolutely obsessed so far. Most of the reason I have it as a 9/10 is because of the multiplayer issues and the fact co-op and forge are coming 6-12 months down the line.

    This is an absolute must-play game and its definitely my favorite game of 2021, perhaps my favorite over the last several years.    … Expand

    Xbox truly singlehandedly saved gaming in 2021, i'm not even joking. Imagine this November-December without Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. All other shooters failed miserably. Forza Horizon 5 has amazing graphics and it's one of the best arcade-racing games of all time. Xbox Forever!

    Overhyped game of 2021. Nothing is better than halo5 which is released 6 years ago.
    Graphics and optimization is terrible.
    Gunplay, motion, sound everything is xbox one, ps4 generation quality.
    Openworld design is useless. You got no reward when killing road blocking annoying enemy.
    It is no more than fanboy game.

    In my opinion its a good game but I give 1 because the game is not complete, the motion captures of faces are no good and the graphics are low in most situations.
    This couldn't be Xbox Sign anymore

    If the campaign existed as a standalone game, it would be a 9/10. Story, characters, soundtrack, visuals, the semi-open world environment, all combine to make this a solid campaign. If 343 can build effectively on this foundation in future DLCs this will be a    Bumping my on-site rating up to a 10 to counteract all of the review bombers. (Actual rating as of Launch Day - 7/10)

    If the campaign existed as a standalone game, it would be a 9/10. Story, characters, soundtrack, visuals, the semi-open world environment, all combine to make this a solid campaign. If 343 can build effectively on this foundation in future DLCs this will be a masterpiece.

    The multiplayer, sadly, is another story. Core gameplay is excellent but everything else such as customization, progression, challenges, and even the ability to choose what game mode you want to play is either nonexistent or a hot mess right now, and the in-game store is a total cash grab. Also, there seem to be only 5 maps available for the small team modes and three for the big team modes, and the small maps get old really quickly. If you don't care about that stuff, then go wild because the gameplay, as I said before, is awesome. Otherwise, maybe hold off until that stuff is fixed. 4/10 for the MP.    … Expand

    Don't listen to those 0 review scores. Clearly just review bombing. Game is solid. Great gunplay, awesome graphics, story is decent although clearly they left a cliff hanger for story dlc. One thing i would've liked is different biomes. But like i said maybe future dlc? Best halo game for me definitely

    Halo Infinite has an enjoyable combat system and a fun multiplayer that will appease many fans, however, the new campaign is a disappointment. The story, characters and open world all feel half baked. The story felt as though nothing happened, thus resulting in a game that doesn't progress the story in any meaningful way.

    The performance is beyond embarrassing for a game that looks so poor. You need a 3080 to run this game at 1080p 100+fps. The campaign was incredibly buggy and the open world is boring and unnecessary. Halo fans deserve better.

    The campaign is like one level thats been stretched out and called an open world. Every FOB looks the same but with a different layout. The gameplay loop is identical everywhere save for the bosses which are just elites or brutes with a big health bar, turning them into bullet sponges. The big shotgun is weaker than a melee attack, the pistol can 2 shot kill any enemy without energyThe campaign is like one level thats been stretched out and called an open world.     Multiplayer would save it but for some god unknown reason you cant choose your game type or map. Meaning you can be repeatedly forced to play oddball when you just want to play slayer and the game punishes you for leaving a game.

    My advice is have a play around for a few hours if you have game pass but dont pay money for this abomination.

    Multiplayer has its Quirks but is still fun. The campaign has some amazing story telling and i was cautious of it being open world but this is the first open world game i have gone through and completed every side objective. Cant wait for the next chapter next year.
    The music as well is on point and as beautiful as it was with Halo 3, Reach, Anniversary and Wars.

Barely any customization options when compared to previous games. Points scored and winning doesn't matter. No stats. The list goes on.     Amazing sound design, Gameplay, and Gunplay, one of the best Halo of the Decade, it needs work in his monetization but it can be changed, the addition of the grapple hook and the equipment brings back that speed from Halo 5 Guardians

    Play on legendary. Gunplay is amazing, games run smoothly on my PC no problem. The enemies are challenging and I love how all the weapons were useable. Boss battles were a letdown because they were fairly easy. The open-world was a lot of fun need to go back and finish clearing the banish from zeta halo. Not a perfect game but it's fun and I recommend you give it a try.

    The best part of Halo. Before the release of the Master Chief Collection on PC, I was not familiar with the Halo series.
    But now I'm a fan.

    The narrative is pretty lacking, I can't believe they killed a major character off-screen and passed it off as acceptable story telling. Do you need to read/play every spin-off media that is made for Halo to get a good story experience out of a Halo game these days? No yikes this games narrative is rough as hell. At no point was I at the edge of my seat because of the narrative. Also very disappointing is the loss of excellent cinematography in the cutscenes that even Halo 4 & 5 had. This was a staple of the series, but cutscenes are Infinite are extremely barebones. There were some interesting shots, but you can count them on one hand.

    The sound design is excellent, but most of the original music is not memorable. Relying on the original trilogy music feels kind of desperate, but objectively that music is good.

    As for the gameplay and open world. The gameplay is perfectly serviceable, the grappling hook is introduced and feels pretty useful in combat. I did not care for the Far Cry-esque open world map markers and outposts and basically skipped all of them. Getting from story mission A to story mission B basically equaled to just finding a vehicle and driving for 5 minutes. The open world therefore is more of a detriment if you liked the older Halo titles (CE, 2, 3, Reach), and the fact that world consists of solely trees, hills and grass doesn't do it any favours. Sometimes you are thrown into forerunner structures, but they get pretty samey after a while and look like copy-paste jobs.

    It's definitely an improvement over Halo 4/5 in terms of gameplay but the narrative is just as lacking as Halo 5. It's narrative is worse than Halo 4 though.

    grievances: The bosses are just regular enemies with more health (aka bullet sponges). The intro cutscene goes unexplained and none of the characters are known or met in the game itself (who the hell is Atriox?). Cutscenes are way too long, and interrupt gameplay too much early on in the game. The facial expressions of The Weapon are hilariously bad and distracting, and the fact that she is a copy of Cortana can be seen coming from a mile away. Checkpoints are basically existing in a semi-state of permanence, they exist as long as the game session lasts. It is never made clear when it is safe to turn off the game and know that mission progress will be saved.    … Expand

    The actual gameplay is great. Short of that, the game is disappointing. Campaign is missing all the set pieces that made halo great, and the story is a confusing jumble. Multiplayer is structured around buying in game currency for cosmetics, and is lacking some really basic game modes. As a halo player since the original, im worried about the direction the series has taken.

After playing both its multiplayer and compaign I felt the game needed more polish on pc because its performance is meh even on my rtx3080ti 10th i7 gen intel with 3200mhz ram. The gun play is fun but the game feels so repetitive due to environment. There is no variation in environment and enemies.     Provavelmente um dos piores jogos que já joguei na minha vida. Muito ruim mesmo. Campanha extremamente capada, multiplayer sem conteúdo nenhum, gráficos terríveis, parece jogo do X360. Um jogo péssimo, não recomendo a ninguém.

    Halo Infinite is the best shooter of 2021. With much anticipation from the fans, 343 Industries brought a great multiplayer experience and a story as a love letter to the Halo series. With some bold innovations, the game pulls all the best from previous iterations and makes it into one of the best FPS games in recent history.

    Halo Infinite was supposed to become a flagship title for “the most powerful console in the world,” but in reality we got an interlude of a story devoid of epic set pieces, a template for something greater that may or may not arrive in the future, an empty “open world” punctuated with interior design circa early 2000s. If not for the awesome shootouts, Master Chief should have been jettisoned back into space.

    The new Halo game is far from flawless. There’s no co-op, even though there should be, and there’s a boring open world, even though there shouldn’t. The multiplayer feels unfinished as well. Still, at its core, it’s a solid story-driven shooter with a more-than-acceptable Cortana replacement.
