    La campaña es mala. No para de reciclar elementos y situaciones una y otra vez; y la misión final, obligándote a realizar unos saltos mal hechos, no ayuda. Además, el doblaje al castellano deja también que desear.
    En cambio, en ocasiones tiene momentos épicos disparando a los enemigos con una gran banda sonora de fondo. Todo un puntazo ver los gráficos del juego original con solo pulsar    La campaña es mala.     Como inicio de saga no está del todo mal, aunque supongo que Microsoft se encargó en la época de tapar todos sus defectos centrando sus méritos en sus modos multijugador, que los recuerdo bastante entretenidos en la consola Xbox jugando con amigos.    … Expand

    Man is this game overrated, it might have been incredible when it released but by today's standards the game is really mediocre. The visuals are fine, the music is decent, the voice acting is mediocre and the level design is painfully boring.     The game has aged very poorly. The combat is still fine and engaging, but even then-poor vehicle controls and repetitive design and incessant backtracking make this game a slog to get through. And the finale is just an exercise in frustration.

    Never having owned an Xbox, Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC was an instant purchase for me. I started with the first game, hoping to love one of the most popular franchises but I am a bit disappointed. Halo: Combat Evolved is not a bad game, it’s just not that good for anyone familiar with FPSs on the PC that predated Halo. I understand its appeal to console gamers in particular,Never having owned an Xbox, Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC was an instant purchase for me. I started with the first game, hoping to love one of the most popular franchises but I am a bit disappointed. Halo: Combat Evolved is not a bad game, it’s just not that good for anyone familiar with FPSs on the PC that predated Halo. I understand its appeal to console gamers in particular, considering it was maybe the first FPS on consoles with rather good controls. It also introduced a regenerating shield mechanic which was borrowed by many other games.

    I did not find the story anything special. There is a very little variety of enemies and you will keep killing the same aliens over and over. Whereas I really liked the graphics of the remastered version, the graphics of the vanilla game feel a bit dull with the use of repeated grey corridors throughout the game. You can switch between the original and remastered graphics by a simple press of TAB, so it was a great feature of the Master Chief Collection. Whereas enemies feel a bit repetitive, the gameplay does not. Some missions take place in narrow corridors, some in large open areas and some of them expect you to use vessels. Different missions play differently and so the game offers a change of gameplay throughout. My favorite mission was definitely The Library which felt like a mix of Serious Sam and Half-Life.

    I played on Heroic difficulty but I felt the difficulty was a bit unbalanced. Some levels were quite easy, whereas some others were really frustrating.

    Overall, I enjoyed Halo: Combat Evolved. But it failed to secure a place as one of the most memorable shooters of the early 2000s.    … Expand

    Overall an enjoyable FPS. One can see how it spurred one of the most successful video game series of all time. One nice thing they did in the remaster textures is they added markers on the walls and ground to help indicate which direction to go to progress. While the new graphics add atmosphere to the environment, sometimes the new environments don't always indicate where to go next so well.

    Never played the original but the remake is a decent first person shooter, levels are full of the same rooms and areas however which is a disappointment, in the original they were obviously restricted by the tech of the time but they could have given the level design a bit more love in the remake without changing the game to much.

    В преддверии Infinite решил пройти все части, так как перед этим играл только в мультиплеер данной серии, который мне понравился, захотелось пройти всю коллекцию, чтобы быть в курсе лора игры. И скажу что эта часть мне понравилась, но местами я плевался, а местами восхищался, и вот почему такой разлёт получился.
    Плюсы:
    *Отличная графика.     *Хорошая стрельба. Мне реально понравилась шутерная механика, она показалась мне мясной и сочный, но местами это был и минус из-за того что враги просто прут один за другим, и ты с дробаша их просто без интереса отстреливаешь и это утомляет.
    *Великолепная музыка.

    Минусы:
    *Растягивание уровней. То что начинается после появления Потопа, иначе чем "духота" не назовешь.
    *Левел-дизайн просто помойка, большую часть игры занимают скучные коридоры, которые нужно быть в определенный момент проходить два раза. И да я понимаю, что игре 20 лет, но как же всё прекрасно сделано в том же Wolfinshtein 2001 года, или в более ранних представителей этого жанра Quake II и Unreal.
    *Главный герой очень медлительный и двигается, будто в киселе. И из-за этого прыжки делать не так удобно, и в некоторых моментах мне сломало трай.    … Expand

    + level design variety
    + sticky grenades
    + vehicles
    + memorable sound effects

    Cons:
    - ost can feel out of place
    - terrible platforming section at the end
    - no map or compass
    - some places feels too big
    - no sprint button

    Просто шутер, достаточно устаревший, слишком много коридоров, слишком мало разнообразия действия, стрелять не слишком интересно.
    В коопе можно побегать.

    The story is good a good continuation from reach going into halo 2 however the gameplay is really grindy by to days standard, very much reminds me of doom in that sense not my thing.

    Halo CA is fun to play but it did not age well even with the remastered edition. Graphics can't help the Library level, the level design does not pass the test of time. Should be played once.

    Неплохой шутер с открытыми пространствами и различными биомами, не фанат хейло, но поиграть было приятно. Тонкие настройки сложности, хороший геймплей, сюжет присутствует, немного душные все таки локации и очень копипастные в пару уровнях, но в среднем пойдёт, для фанатов хейло точно ремастер зайдёт.Неплохой шутер с открытыми пространствами и различными биомами, не фанат хейло, но поиграть было приятно. Тонкие настройки сложности, хороший геймплей, сюжет присутствует, немного душные все таки локации и очень копипастные в пару уровнях, но в среднем пойдёт, для фанатов хейло точно ремастер зайдёт.

    Na versão Masterchief Collection é possivel mudar entre os graficos originais e os remasterizados e fica evidenciado o cuidado que tiveram nesse remaster. Graficamente falando não é feio nem desconfortavel jogar, os modelos são bem feitos, tanto dos personagens como das armas, porém as expressões faciais são quase inexistentes.

    ---== História ==--
    Eu particularmente gosto de histórias espaciais e essa não decepcionou. O universo é bem construido, a história vai se desenrolando de uma forma legal e os personagens são interessantes. Em especial claro a Cortana e o Masterchief.
    A voz inclusive é bate muito com a personalidade dos dois.

    ---== Gameplay ==--
    A parte que menos gostei no jogo rsrs.
    Ela fica muito repetitiva sendo hordas e hordas de inimigos em locais que as vezes parece copia e cola da area anterior. Algumas fases ficam muito cansativas e chatas.
    Não existe muitas armas disponiveis, mas as que existem são bens diferentes umas das outras.

    It's fine, it's also aged poorly. The first half is nice, but the second half of the single player is bad and half the weapons are bad.

    Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is an outstanding first-person shooter that remains a joy to play nearly a decade after its original release. This remastered version looks and plays great, but audio bugs and downgraded Classic visuals sully the experience.

    Packaged with the rest of the Master Chief Collection, it’s an easy way to hop in and see what all the fuss was about 20 years ago. If you’ve spent the last 20 years moulding Halo PC into a custom content chimaera, it’s a harder sell. What Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is offering a clean slate.
