    Im really not boycotting this game but its a prime example of the hype train, overhyping and generally people trying to show how much they love games.

    This game in its core is nothing but a hack and slash thats not very addicting or satisfying, its very dull and uninspiring, only thing it has going for it is the art style which is very neat to look at but that gets worn out pretty soon    Im really not boycotting this game but its a prime example of the hype train, overhyping and generally people trying to show how much they love games.

    Combat feels the same, its the same thing with the shield, bow and arrow and sword, there is no strategy it is attack, dodge, attack, dodge and so on, absolutely no strategy included.

    In conclusion this game gets boring after ~60 minutes, it is what it is I guess, I just want more out of a game than a shallow puddle.    … Expand

    HADES is DIABLO + ROGUE with cartoon graphics. Just like another Japanese 3rd Person game that shall not be named, be prepared to die. Over and over and over again. Be prepared to wear out the left mouse button because you're gonna be clicking it a lot. Be prepared for repetition.
    I seriously cannot understand why this game is being heralded as the Second Coming of Christ - it's BORING as    HADES is DIABLO + ROGUE with cartoon graphics.     I seriously cannot understand why this game is being heralded as the Second Coming of Christ - it's BORING as hell. The cartoonish graphics are another major kiss of death, that's also the reason why I hated the TORCHLIGHT series. Bring back the dark Gothic style of DIABLO 1 (the only DIABLO game worth playing!).

    I read a lot of good reviews so i thought i'd take a shot but i wouldn't recommend it for fun.

    It's to addictive and it pushes it on you aggressively. It's repetitive and you get to a point where the fun is replaced with being annoyed. It's a extreme grind fest and the buffs dont seem to do anything as a certain point.     It's very hard to master the difficulty of this thing is very hard I didn't play demon souls because it was rumored to be terribly hard but this didn't have the same notoriety it should be warned that if you want variety you won't find it here.
    The story is not so rewarding I don't know what I'm suppose to do in this game. Escaping the underworld isn't as rewarding as you would think.
    It's like demon souls which I really didn't understand either and didn't attempt.

    Good game for masochists. Peoples love pain or they have huge free time.
    This game has only 2-3 hours content, but you need to grind 20 hours.

    Cool if all you want out of a game is playing the same level over and over and over and over and over and over. Some of the weapons are a pain in the butt to use and you can't get rid of them until you're able to get a new one.

    I wanted to like this but there's simply not enough content to justify the high scores, I'd give it a 6 or 7 but 2 to balance out all the gushers.
    Maybe it's not my cup of tea, but fighting the same enemies and the button mashing gets really old, when one is accustomed to more advanced and complex games, this games seems to cater towards casual players.     too long and boring to go to beat final boss again. characters are so salty and toxic that makes player get stressed. effects are too showy to discern enemy's attacks, also enemies have unclear movesets too. and hard to get tempo when attacks enemy so that makes keep pressing button at random which is not a good feeling in action game. it was not worth to keep playing it.

    9.0점은 너무 많고, 기껏해야 6.0점 정도가 딱 적당합니다.
    이 게임은 절대 명작은 아니고 기껏해야 평작~수작 정도 사이를 왔다 갔다 할 게임입니다.
    스토리는 너무 뻔하고... 전투나 액션씬은 지루하기 짝이없습니다.

    명작까진 아니고 기껏해야 수작 정도?
    차라리 카타나 제로가 나을듯

Also there's only 2 weapons even worth using and that's the spear and shield. The rest are complete trash. I made this account just so I could review this **** game.… Expand

    I basically don't understand why so many people love this terrible game! This game is so repeating and so exhausting to play! Every upgrading in this game seems so boring, as well as the story, the enemies, and the level design.
    So why do so many people love this game? Ah, I got it, because they are the ones who like repetitive works, and they want to live a boring life!

    Dungeon & Fighter would be more fun.

    It is as good as they say. Has high replay and encourages experimentation and new tactics. It will also probably get you reading up on Greek history.

    The RNG in this game can either benefit you or screw you over. If the latter you may as well just quit because you aren't going to be able to do anything. Actually the opposite of fun when that happens. Super overrated.

    La dificultad del jefe final es extremadamente artificial, se basa en aumentar el número de daño que hace. Y a eso se le suma un pequeño detalle de mal diseño, algunas mejoras para el arma son más raras de encontrar pero no tienen un calificativo para entender por qué son tan raras.

    This game totally deserves a 10, gameplay aswell as the storyline, voice acting, roguelike aspect and depth is truly well done and wisely created.

    I recommand you to play this one it's truly one of the best game I've playend and damned so much fun (even after hours and hours !)

    Do you know what I'm going to do after writing this review? Play Hades again - for fun. It's just so damn good. Maybe I'll be able to escape hell, maybe not, but I'll be happy to try again.

    As with previous titles from Supergiant Games, Hades features stellar artwork and music, masterfully creating a world of Greek mythology. The fast-paced action feels great, and the roguelike elements create a synergy with the game’s story, resulting in a truly addictive experience.

    Hades is a roguelike action RPG developed and published by Supergiant Games. It set a new bar for roguelike games with amazing visuals, character development, and storyline. Hades does have a few minor issues that plague most roguelikes. But these don’t impact the overall experience of an amazingly great game.
