Aug 21, 2023best fighting game ever. it only lacks a shortage of the numbers of the fighters you can play ... but theyre getting more with updates
-
Jul 8, 2023Wtf is this game. Story is just a movie / cutscene collection? Designs are nice and crazy. Graphics are cool. Controls are ??.
-
Jun 3, 2023Really good fighting game that I am extremely bad at. It has some great combos and a really big competitive scene.

Nov 1, 2022The decision to retroactively make Bridget trans is absolutely baffling - as a gay man, disappointing to lose representation

Sep 15, 2022Can't support companies that backstab the fans for cookie points on Twitter. Congratulations to ArcSystemWorks for dividing their community. 343i and Activision-Blizzard should take notes.

May 23, 2022This game is amazing, best 2D fighting game rn imo, great net code, amazing soundtrack, good visuals, the only thing i dont like is story mode literally just cutscenes, no gameplay.
-
May 1, 2022Almost a year since release and game still has broken balance and absolutely nonsensical rating system where you have to waste your time each month to do pointless celestial challenge. Still no way to check ping before match, still no proper way to tell a skill level of a player. Half of the cast still absolutely braindead overtuned unga bunga gorillas.
Only netcode and visuals are great. -

Mar 10, 2022This game is awesome, it has the graphix, it has the intense dolphin gameplay, and it has the best soundtrack to ever be produced, but don't quote me on that cuz I'm still stuck on the loading screen.

Nov 3, 2021This game is just a pain in the ass. This Tower-System is really annoying, the hardest challenge in this game is to find an opponent to fight without having a mental breakdown

Aug 21, 2021Good netcode, lobby and menus is a pain though. Makes up for it with visuals, solid combat, good music and a good starting roster.
-

Jun 17, 2021Fighting game perfection. Incredible gameplay, great tutorial and mission modes for beginners. The story mode is amazing and carries on from Xrd. The netcode is amazing (rollback), and it runs incredibly smooth and quick on PS5.

Dec 14, 2021GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- is a great fighting game and a great sequel to an old franchise which successfully caters to both genre veterans and newcomers. It is a bit on the expensive side, but the gameplay, art, and music all justify it.

Game World Navigator MagazineSep 3, 2021Each fighter is very unique, so, even though there is a good tutorial, it will take a long time before you’ll learn how to fight properly. Still, if you have even a slightest interest in Japanese fighting games – you absolutely have to check out Strive. [Issue#254, p.56]

Jul 27, 2021In summary, Guilty Gear Strive is an excellent evolution of a series that’s always provided players with a unique and interesting approach to weapons-based combat, and now it’s slightly less impenetrable for newcomers. It’s got room to grow, but it’s a stylish, standout fighter whose strengths absolutely outnumber its flaws.
