Jul 20, 2020The game is still on early access and its a good game with great graphics and mechanics... but there's no matchmaking yet and it's a really difficult game to play alone or with two players only, also have some game breaking bugs that can ruin an entire run. The idea of new rundowns after some time its cool and fresh.

Jun 27, 2021After well over 100 hours of play time and multiple rundowns I can honestly say the difficulty scaling and learning curve are far too brutal. If you don't have at least 2/3 pro gamers in your squad you are f**ked for any level past the B tier of the rundown.

Jan 25, 2022Pros-
Complete focus on team play
The claustrophobic feeling works well in the horror aspect
Simple, yet unique loadouts make the game more fun
Cons-
UI Readability is horrible
Enemy AI feels really dumb
Rundowns can get very tiring -
Jun 21, 2022This game requires a lot of patience to play. It also requires 4 people to play. If anyone of those players screws up then everyone is dead. That's what type of game this.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 30, 2024Despite its difficulty, or perhaps because of it, it pushes all the right buttons for an epic cooperative experience. So if you've got a bunch of friends up for regular trips to the underground, the atmosphere will instantly and definitively absorb you. [Issue#317]

Feb 16, 2022GTFO is a concentration of love and wickedness, the merciless manifestation of a concept as inflexible as it is created with care and dedication. Although not all the pieces of the 10 Chambers proposal have yet been filed to perfection, the title does not fail to offer its users a cooperative experience full of personality, fiercely hardcore and stimulating in the most infamous sense of the term. It is certainly not a product for all palates, and it is certainly true that the Swedish studio still has some work to do, but already now GTFO is perfectly able to offer lovers of cooperative shooter with high difficulty rate a valuable mix of anxiety and excitement, fueled by an inflexible playful formula but capable of giving large doses of satisfaction.

Edge MagazineJan 27, 2022This may not be the best choice for a player without an existing co-op team, but if you do have three friends who are willing to learn, and die, together, it's a work of unmissable claustrophobia. GTFO indeed. [Issue#368, p.110]
