    Разработчики абсолютно не слушают фанатом, качая деньги с гта онлайн и рдр онлайн, запрещают моды на свои игры что бы самим потом выпустить трилогию гта и не обосраться, но им это не помогло. А с недавнего времени подключились к осуждению действий России в адрес Украины и запретили в россии все части ГТА и некоторые другие игры к покупке.     so free on epic, servers are crap buggy as hell, 2 days later i can play second mission dude gets all mad im employ of the month. so i go to do the mission without him...mission fail...what the fu in this day and age to have no choice is stupid. uninstall thankful i payed zero for this game cuz thats what it is.

    the story is trash. the only characters that were kind of interesting are michael, lester, and maybe a few others. the rest of the characters are either underdeveloped (like franklin), or just plain annoying (michael's family, trevor). many returning HD era characters are completely thrown under the bus.

    this game has taken sooooo many steps backwards from GTA IV, with the ragdoll physics, shooting, driving, police AI, civilian AI, melee combat, vehicle destruction, interiors, multiplayer, game world, and other aspects. it irritates me how mainstreams critics will mindlessly give this game a 10/10 while completely ignoring how all of these core gameplay mechanics have been downgraded. i guess a huge map with pretty graphics is more than enough to impress these brainless hacks.

    "b-but GTA V has parachutes, planes, tanks, business management, and a countryside!" yeah, so did GTA san andreas. guess what? many of these features have been done better in san andreas anyway.

    don't get me wrong, this game is still highly polished, beautiful, and smooth to play. first person mode is a welcome addition to next-gen. and there is still fun to be had in the main campaign. but the campaign is worth playing only once and never returning to again. it's designed to be consumed once.

    my brain gives this game a 7/10, but my heart gives it a 3/10. therefore, i will rate this game a 6/10.    … Expand

    GTA V has an immensely enjoyable and lengthy single player story that never slows down and each mission feels new. It is easily one of the best single player experiences I've ever had. As for online, it is worth playing, however it is still massively flawed and often frustrating. I would not pay full price solely for online, but if you have not played the single player, it is completely worth it.

    Grand Theft Auto V is in many ways the archetypical example of the modern open-world game. A huge environment to drive around in and get lost in, containing a few small towns, a big city, random scripted events going off every once in a while, and above all else, little icons on a map that you go to in order to make things happen.

    Clocking in around 40 hours to beat and about 55 hours to do everything but collect the collectibles, the game offers a mixture of third person shooting, driving cars and aircraft, and the odd minigame. The story is a story of three criminals who all simultaneously respect and hate each other, and who are all various flavors of terrible people.

    The game has thrilling heists, where the player figures out some plan of attack (from one of two options), does things to set up for that, and then executes on the plan, while switching dynamically between the characters to execute on their part of the plan. This is where the game is at its best.

    And if the game was always that good, it would be great.

    Unfortunately, it isn’t.

    The game is also full of very boring missions, tedious side content, and inconvenience. The lack of a normal fast travel system means that if you need to go from one side of the map to the other, it will consume several minutes of your time, the simulationist nature of the game means that changing your characters’ clothing requires you to go to their house (or a store, if they sell that particular type of clothing there), and there’s a lot of empty time that is filled up by driving from one place to another.

    GTA V does its best to avoid too much blatant filler content – there’s only a few of the typical “collect 50 of this random item scattered around the world” missions, and they’re purely optional.

    But a lot of the content in the game is just dull. Running around in the desert for five miles, doing a half-hour long triathlon where all you do is tap A repeatedly to run/swim/bike faster, spending twenty minutes loading and offloading cargo – there is many a dull moment in the game, where the game just has you do something inane for no good reason for far too long.

    But even the “good” missions are often held back by the gameplay. The core gameplay of driving around in cars is alright, but the helicopters feel rather janky to fly and the plane missions are something of a mixed bag, as there’s no real air to air combat system. The third person shooting gameplay is quite weak – it feels awkward, and while using a mouse plus keyboard makes it better, the game just doesn’t do anything very strong with the third person gameplay. The enemies are almost all indistinguishable from each other, just being a bunch of dudes with guns, or dudes with guns in cars/planes. Tanks technically exist, but I saw them in exactly one mission – and a side-mission at that – and they were easily dispatched with explosives.

    The open world also tries to introduce things like property ownership, but the properties feel like more of a burden than an asset – several will ask the player to do repetitive side quests from a very small list, and the only one that really felt like it was worth purchasing was the one that let you customize your cars for free. Indeed, given the limited duration of the game, it was a losing proposition to buy property, as you’d have more money by the end of the game if you didn’t – the best way to make money was to do the stock market manipulation missions.

    The game does try to entertain people with the story. And on some level, this actually works pretty well – the characters almost always have stuff to say, with the “boring bits” of driving long distances allowing for exposition dumps and back and forth dialogue. There’s story content in almost every mission, and the characters have something to say about almost everything that happens.

    The problem is that the characters themselves aren’t particularly likeable, and the story as a whole doesn’t ultimately go anywhere. Michael is a jerk with anger problems. Franklin wants to get rich and escape from the hood. Trevor is a violent sociopath who wants to just keep on running his meth empire. There’s tension between Michael and Trevor due to Trevor believing that Michael betrayed him years before, and Michael is trying to mentor Franklin a bit.

    But none of it really feels like it has strong enough payoff, and the characters don’t feel like they ultimately learned anything. Franklin never gets to run a heist, so he never really emerges from Michael’s shadow. Michael still has anger issues, and his family’s resolution is basically “We’re all a bunch of **** so we’re pretty much stuck together,” and somehow, this makes them happy. And Trevor… is just doing the same thing he was doing beforehand, and learned absolutely nothing, except he ultimately makes peace with Michael by murdering a third party that they both loathe.    … Expand

    As someone who played GTA games since GTA 3, GTA V feels like a massive step back from GTA San Andreas and even a small step back from GTA 4.     As someone who played GTA games since GTA 3, GTA V feels like a massive step back from GTA San Andreas and even a small step back from GTA 4. Having three separate characters that you will have to earn money for, upgrade and utilize to level up their skills feels tedious. What's wrong with just having a single character? It worked so well before, didn't it? Instead, I have to buy business separately for them, upgrade their cars separately and make money and trade stocks separately for the characters. Gone are the days when I can focus all in just one character and buy numerous stuff for a single character. now I have to do everything 3 times! Also, how come I can buy many business but cannot buy different houses for my characters? They only have the story-given houses and that is it. Also, I can no longer have girlfriends. I also can no longer do gyms or other activities like San Andres. It's very bad. Now with GTA Casino, we also have in-game gambling with fake money that you purchase with real world money. It's stupid and terrible. The console menus are also bad and the flying and swimming controls are very unintuitive. The Rockstar Games Social Club, which is a DRM, is also very bad and gets sync errors all the time. I don't like these things to be in my GTA. It's a disaster compared to San Andreas.

    GTA used to be game where you can fulfill your power fantasies in a parody version of our modern day society. You can kill people like crazy, ram them like hell, fly on jetpacks, run around with **** and gimp suits, pick up your girlfriends for a date in a ruined blood-stained car and even go on a rampage while you are with your girlfriend. The radio stations were also fun and vulgar in previous GTA games. We also had racist gangs and turf wars back in San Andreas, which was really fun. All of these things have been removed and replaced with SJW and PC-culture, niceness and way less violence compared to previous GTA games. Lazlow used to be funny and now he is a washout. The talk radio stations are also boring, full of SJW guests, PC and fail at being funny. You can't have PC culture and comedy in the same space as they go against each other. I remember watching the sunset while inside a parked car in GTA San Andres while listening to the radio. Those were the days.

    As for the characters, instead of doing crazy things, Michael now has to take care of his family (which screws him over repeatedly). His family is so annoying and full of retards and narcissists that the game should allow me to kill them for being such. I know that previous GTA games would. Trevor is the only fun character, which is the redneck stereotype, but his craziness can be annoying sometimes and he changes into women clothes all the time on his own. Franklin was trying hard to be CJ from San Andreas, but he falls flat because of poor story and writing. I'd almost think he was the diversity hire if he didn't have skills.

    The gameplay is good and the bugs are minimal. Driving is fun and there are lots of cars, but you have to buy the best ones with in-game cash. The graphics are also very good but has issues with ultra widescreen PCs, which is bad. I got this game on a sale, so it's not much damage.

    People who rate this game a 10/10 clearly have no idea how far we have regressed from GTA San Andreas, or simply weren't paying attention. They seriously lower the bar for future GTA games. I don't think I'll be buying the next GTA game anymore, simply because I am sure it will be a microtransaction-filled mess with poor writing, disappointing comedy and less features and fun activities compared to even this game.    … Expand

Rockstar nailed it on the head when it came to the characters; how the chemistry works between them and how each main character in-game is the actual face of    GTA V as a whole is a great game.

    For Online, I suggest you download FiveM or GTA Network so that you can play on other servers, than on the main Rockstar servers (for the time-being). You can you FiveM/GTA Network or you can create a private lobby from the 'Online' tab and just do heist/races in that lobby with your friends. Other than that, the base Online game is filled with hackers sadly. For a 3+ year old game, you would think they would invest money into making a anti-cheat instead of making pointless updates.

    Warning; as of March 2017, you can't transfer your Online character from console to PC or PC to console. So, with that being said. You will need to start all over if you planned on merging your PS4/Xbox One character to PC. It's not possible anymore. It's funny how Rockstar can still put GTA V at the $60 price point (not worth it, get it on sale (maybe $30)), but yet they can't support a small but great feature.    … Expand

    I had to come here to say this is one of the best games I've ever played in my 41 year old life.
    It's almost like having a second life when I play this.
    To play a game of golf inside this game with so much attention to detail was impressive. The dialogues are great. Graphics amazing.     The online mode pushes Shark Cards too much, and that is a fact, most of the items need abusive amounts of grinding, and that is sad, the online mode´s gameplay is really good, especially with the free DLC, but sadly, the DLC content is hidden behind a secret paywall, vehicles cost an absurd amount of money, requiring you to buy some shark cards if you want to get the content at the launch, a small detail that bothers me are the litteral spam calls from the DLC characters, it is annoying as hell, it pushes the content so hard into you it makes you want to buy the DLC content just to stop those calls.    … Expand

    Incredibly cool game. In addition to the main plot and many small side-quests, you can play it literally forever by imagining yourself an activity in the vast expanses of a very beautiful gaming city. Modern graphics of this time gave us the soul of the old famous Vice City in a new wrapper. In a very beautiful wrapper, which, like the old city, outplay all its zones at 100%.

    I played GTA V about 700 hours in the Multiplayer together with the Singleplayer, but unfortunately the Singleplayer did not get any content after years and the Multiplayer became a disaster which has nothing to do with GTA anymore.
    The Singleplayer i can easily give 9 of 10 points but the Multiplayer only 3 of 10 points.

    Пусть уберут капчу с логина, а лучше пусть удалят свой сранный лаунчер и было хорошо что-то сделать со серваками, а то мы с ребятами по 10-15 минут заходим в игру. Бывает, что вообще не возможно зайти на сервер. Все падает у них как будто хостинг бесплатный.    Как оценить игру в которую не можешь зайти.

    Loading takes forever. Loading jobs/missions/heists/whatever takes forever Almost everyone on the server has godmode. Cheaters changing weather every 2 seconds. Entire server gets teleported inside cheaters apartment, evicted and exploded. You have to wait eternity to play missions because they    I got this **** for free and I'm still disappointed.

    lots of bugs for example: you sometimes stay in loading screen for ever (when you go in bunker, arcade, casino, night club, MOC, facility, terrorbyte and moterclub. I did just now a supply sell of my bunker and i couldn't sell my things when i was in the circel and now all my supply's are gone (am talking about 700K that disapeert)

    I do not like the Online mode and I hardly ever play it.

    That being said, I love to play single-player mode. Sometimes I just start the game up and cruise through the motorways for as long as I can, it's always relaxing. Other times I pick up a gun and just go berserker on the NPCs. The game is super fun. The story is not a masterpiece, but I liked it and the characters, especially    I do not like the Online mode and I hardly ever play it.

    That being said, I love to play single-player mode. Sometimes I just start the game up and cruise through the motorways for as long as I can, it's always relaxing. Other times I pick up a gun and just go berserker on the NPCs.

    The game is super fun. The story is not a masterpiece, but I liked it and the characters, especially the protagonist trio. There's lots of variety in story, vehicles and weapon choice.    … Expand

Что саундтрек, что сюжет, что геймплей на ОЧЕЕЕНЬ высоком уровне. Только графика могла быть лучше для такой игры, но это не делает игру хуже или что-то в этом роде, даже в шедеврах есть незначительные минусы, но они из-заНу это маст-хэв уже прошлого десятилетия, те кто говорят что гта 4 лучше и проработаннее, те просто дебилы.     Its one of the best, if not the best game ever created. The story, gameplay, gunplay, location, graphics .etc, Rockstar nailed every thing. The story and the characters are memorable. The humor is great. The graphics look fantastic on ultra settings. The optimization is great, you can even enjoy this game on a PC from 2006. The game is fun even when you are not completing missions, youIts one of the best, if not the best game ever created. I got this back in 2016, and I've been playing it ever since.

    I think this is one of the best games ever developed to date. Its a 10/10 of game, and I recommend it to everybody. The only flaw is its huge size. Other than that its a solid game, and can be found for quite cheap at around $10. (Its free until 21st May, 2020.)    … Expand

    The game is great in almost every aspect. Graphics are not bad at all and the story is great despite not being the best in the GTA Franchise. Modding Community is great, lots of mods to play with and constant support. Can't wait for the release of GTA 6

R* tried to incorporate 3 protagonists into the game keeping the same amount of gameplay time as in previous GTA games, due to which the characters barely got the time to develop. Franklin's story started out in a great way that reminded me of GTA San Andreas but all fell apart when he met Michael. R* reserved all the over the top moments with Trevor , who itself is a psychopath and is the most annoying character. The bank heists were fun but again it didnt provide enough options to plan. Lamar was the most interesting character besides the protagonists, and his missions with Franklin was very well designed. Unfortunately, after a few missions he is thrown out of the story. And most importantly, there is NO proper antagonist in the game! The Stangers and Freaks missions were good but they werent great either.… Expand

In every session there is atleast 1 modder and they destroy the fun of everyone by turning off the passive mode of everyone and kill them all.     The devs love it, the playerbase loves it. Yeah its GTA5 with the constant updates that costs literally nothing. The devs are trying to keep the game alive (Online version of it) and the players in it still loves to play the game.

    I've played this game since it was released back in 2013 on my PlayStation 3. So I bought the game for PC as well on Steam at a good price. YOU CAN LITERALLY DO ANYTHING IN THIS GAME. To conclude, it's a 10/10 game.

    I never played online part, because i hate online games, but single player part of gta 5 is phenomenal. This game's only problem is, that it got too popular. Gta 6 should be out already, been way too long. Thankfully it should come sooner than later.

    The appeal of rockstar games' gameplay just misses me completely. These games are story driven and built so children with limited capacity will still be able to complete them.
    Every rockstar game feels the same. Like I'm watching a crappy movie but holding a controller, and the movie frequently pauses requiring me to hit the "I'm still playing button".

    I am running this on my i7 system with a GTX970 at very high settings and the game is smooth as it can get. I haven't had one single crash. One of the games where it's evident they really wanted to make a good version for PC and not just a halfa$$ port.
    I don't have too much to complain about this game, in fact I once stated this is probably the most impressive and possibly "the best" game of all times. And this should mean something. The only issue I have is that the scope of the game is just massive (aka: too much too see and to do.. :) and that getting through the story does not feel as "connected" as in previous GTA titles and you're sometimes stumbling not knowing what to do next...unless you then check the map to see where you can go to continue with the story. I had the impression that with former titles, getting through the story felt more "guided", while the scope/size of this game is just so big you can lose track on occasion. But maybe that's just me.
    Ultimately, I'd say that this game ALONE would be worth it someone buying or building a high-end PC. Most negative reviews I am seeing don't make any sense.    … Expand

    - even though its a pro this can sometimes be a con and that is the realism. if you expect gta 4 level of badass like niko belic just dont bother its very realistic and that can put some people off but not me.

    Overall it has its issues and some bugs but other than that a great game from a great company    … Expand

    Very good PC version of a very good game. Worth an 8.5/10. Story is good, gameplay is fun, and it runs smoothly. Graphics and animations are extremely good, except for the human characters which are too stiff/plastic. The online version is a great addition for those who have completed the single player.

    2. Driving at a very high rate of speed makes pedestrians disappear. (possible console limitations)

    3. Police helicopters re spawn too quickly making an on-foot shootout unlikable and frustrating.

    4. No military intervention. Bring back 6 stars

    5. The Train can't be stolen although there's a mission where your able to hijack and control it WTF. That's a step back from san andreas

    6.Where's the mini submarine, where's the scuba gear? I want to explore the ocean but I can't without the risk of drowning.

    7. 30 or 40 Foot waves would have been nice to see when's there's a storm.

    8. Big buildings that your unable to interact with like the brightly lit up Casino. I want to gamble away my "useless" millions of dollars

    Dispondibile should do so also for Mac and Linux as well as to have a large amount of people who will buy the game . In fact, when people came out with Mac and Linux they were very disappointed and hope that they do so in a future update available for these two operating systems .

    Absolutely incredible. It is a great game and runs smooth as butter on my gtx 980 build and also on my Asus gtx 860m laptop (surprisingly) would reccommend to anyone over the console version.

    Although the game did not quite live up to its hype, it did provide me with a great deal of entertainment. Excellent writing, superb voice acting, and wonderful game mechanics are marred only by the mundane things that the game sets before the player. Who wants to drive through traffic in a car once you have driven about in a tank? Nevertheless, it is an A- game is still well worth playing.

I would've liked an explanation of each buzzword (instead of just VRAM cost, which doesn't perfectly translate to FPS). My recommendation: turn off MSAA, turn down Post-Processing, but leave Shadows on "very high" (so moving headlights will cast shadows) and Grass on "high" (for foliage immersion).

    PRESENTATION: 10
    (Story - 9): Dialogue and characterization is so excellent it encourages progression even during simple taxi missions. Mike and Trevor are equally psychotic, but Mike feels guilty and Trevor hates that hypocrisy, an interaction paralleled by the Franklin-Lamar relationship. Franklin will compromise his morals for money. Trevor's in it for fun (nothing the player can do as him is "out of character"), and might snap and kill Mike at any time. It's great. My only quibble is how the GTA4:TLAD characters are treated.
    (Graphics - 10): Numbers changes used to designate engine changes, but GTA5 is GTA4 with tweaks. The level of detail is amazing, with thousands of little touches: roof lights when you enter cars, gorgeous sunsets, how distant lights halo out at night, smoke/dust effects, etc. Shifting reflections on your car hood and moving shadows do more to create a sense of speed when driving than any motion blur could.
    (Physics - 9): The Euphoria engine that procedurally blends animations with ragdoll physics (for humans and animals) makes for glorious car crashes and shootouts. I love how enemies can ragdoll and still get back up, so you have to confirm kills.
    (Audio - 7): Good music, probably not at GTA:VC or GTA:SA level.
    (Force Feedback - 7): You feel things like the rough of a freeway, but less in 3rd- than 1st-person view, and I prefer more frequent rumbling.

    CONTROL - 9
    It's seamless, loading only on starting. 1st-person view on foot is recommended, 3rd when driving, and it remembers each preference separately. The interface is clean and functional, and time slows when you switch weapons or change radio stations. The game auto-detects when a controller is connected and accepts either input.
    GTA is built on open-world driving and shooting. The new element is shifting between the three characters at will. In one mission, one was flying a helicopter, another shooting out the back of it, and the third sniping from a nearby roof, all working in concert to avoid and take out chasing copters. Each character has a special ability, like slowing time or invincibility. Friendly AI is amazing; it can competently shoot AND drive (eat your heart out, Halo), to the point where, on one stealth mission with sniper cover, I kept switching and yelling "no, let ME do the fun stuff" at whichever AI I wasn't controlling.
    (Shooting - 7): Shooting is good, especially in first-person. I miss visible gas tank covers on cars from GTA:SA (you can still aim near the left rear wheel, but you have to guess). The worst part is that, unlike GTA4, NPC's now drive off when you aim at them. In GTA4 you could threaten a driver out of a car, which was better gameplay than just pressing a carjack button; now, even if you shoot them, they slump on the gas pedal and drive off.
    (Driving - 10): Vehicle physics have improved massively from GTA4. GTA4 cars felt slow, ruining what had been the best vehicular "feel" in all of videogames. Driving is now at the GTA 3/VC/SA/MidnightClubStreetRacing perfection level. You can do donuts again. Flight controls are similarly great, the equal of GTA:SA's, but now with wind buffeting your copters/planes. Parachuting works great and I liked the bullseye-landings side missions.
    Due to the constant rolling 3D waves, the water physics are now the best in any videogame (including Wave Race and AC4:Black Flag). Whereas Ubisoft claims it couldn't put online sailing multiplayer in any of the three Assassins Creed sailing games (3, 4 and Rogue) because it was "too hard" to standardize their water physics, Rockstar's GTA5 supports 8-player jetski races with the full 3D rolling waves and seaspray.
    (Melee - 3): Fistfighting is not improved, disappointing given how common it is. You can only attack or dodge-then-counterattack, and sadly the physics engine doesn't differentiate one fistfight from another.

    DESIGN - 8
    You can replay missions (including most side missions) from a menu, and time of day autoshifts forward where appropriate on triggering a mission, but for some reason neither statement applies to street races. Sadly, every mission design has been repeated from past GTA's.
    GTA:Online Races and Deathmatches work fine, but Heists never will because they aggravatingly fail whenever any player dies. But singleplayer is huge (40+ hours) and well worth it alone.    … Expand

    Let's be honest. It's easy to give a game that you LOVE a ten out of ten, but nothing is perfect and GTAV is no exception. Having said that, I have given this a ten out of ten. So why have I contradicted myself? Well, I would give it a nine out of ten based on the game itself. The map is massive and open and yet when you get right down to ground level it still is obsessively detailed. TheLet's be honest. It's easy to give a game that you LOVE a ten out of ten, but nothing is perfect and GTAV is no exception. Having said that, I have given this a ten out of ten. So why have I contradicted myself? Well, I would give it a nine out of ten based on the game itself. The map is massive and open and yet when you get right down to ground level it still is obsessively detailed. The story is a little flimsy in places and some missions are downright infuriating.

    However, that extra point that puts this at ten out of ten comes purely from the GTA Online experience. Seriously, go online with 3 of your friends on Skype or Teamspeak and you will be hard pressed to find anything more entertaining. The game offers so much more for online players than GTAIV had, and it shows. Countless missions, official races, deathmatch arenas, heists and they are STILL adding to it. But when you're done with the official stuff? Well, you can go ahead and make your own. Hell, you can even come up with your own games to play within it. Turn off all your HUD elements and then try to find a specific location. Hell, make it a race.

    Assign one of your friends as the target and the rest of you have to eliminate them using only their car. Why not turn the HUD off for that as well? Hardcore things up a notch. :P

    Seriously, If you've played the last gen version on PS3 / 360, you owe it to yourself to try this out on next gen / PC.

    Great game overall. Definitely better than any of the other Grand Theft Autos. The only big thing i would complain about is the driving. It has gottan ridiculously unrealistic. Too arcadeish for me.

    I rated this 9 out 10 because the game is the most complete game in all the series, as well in the common gaming scene. Freedom is only superated by Just Cause but that game isn't well finished as Rockstar did with GTA.

    Also, I don't know why but radio stations are lame in this GTA. Kinda preffer GTA IV radio stations.

    Very cool. The story is even more interesting than expected. Surprisingly good experience in steering and environment. I was quite skeptic at the beginning but that didn't last long.

The fact that you control three characters, each one having its own storyline is a big plus for the game.     ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE. Other than some random kicks (more an issue with PS4/ comcast than the game), this is one of the most replayable, dynamic games that belongs in every collection. Massively fun offline story mode, and online play has everything going for it. Best game, total masterpiece.

    This is an amazing game. It takes grand theft auto to the next level. I know it has thousands of sales and it just is amazing. The story is great and i love having three people to choose from.     GTA 5 has a big open world !!! The Story, the graphics, Trevor are really awsome and online is the best. That makes so much fun !!! Especially with friends.

    It's become a laughing matter, the concept of an open-world where the devs boast of how vast their world is. Well GTA V actually earned the right to boast, as it not only houses a massive world, but also one which feels alive and never empty. Unlike so many Ubisoft games in recent years.

They avoid the "2D trap" where characters simply feel to static. Unlike your FPS Standard gunman who shoots because he is a soldier, GTA V's cast feel like they actually change throughout the story. They mold and change from moment to moment. They carry the story forward and ultimately i think anyone who skips straight into Online, is missing a large portion of GTA V's fun.
    That's not to say GTA V Online isn't pretty great aswell, although it did have its fair share of problems, most of them have at this point been fixed, but hacking does still pose an issue to experiencing GTA Online for what it is. It never feels like an addition to the main game, it is a fully fledged, game in and of itself. GTA V might be one of the most enjoyable games ever created.    … Expand

This PC port has proven to be very well optimized, with as many graphical options you could possibly want. (Except for a true FOV slider). The game runs well on a variety of machines and scales very well to different setups. Those who are frustrated at the issues downloading and the Rockstar social club, it is understandable, but rating the game based on those issues and not the game itself is very unreasonable; the purpose of a review to provide insight on the game itself, not reviewing overloaded servers on the day of launch.
    No game is perfect, thus rating any game 10 is idiotic, but if any game is deserving of my highest praise, GTA V would be that game. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of sandbox games or a fan of previous Rockstar Games.    … Expand

    The story mode draws you through the story of three men and those they subsequently interact with, drawing them together as a group you get to play as and switch through on the fly. While challenging, you are drawn into their tale while reaking havoc across Los Santos and more. The creativity put into the side details is wonderful. TV and movie theater shorts, random encounters on the streets of LS, the radio or even just cruising a back alley and seeing a bum scratch his butt and sniff his finger. Someone got paid to program that. Just explore, drive around with friends, punch a whale. It's all up to you and what you chose to do, with plenty of it available to you to boot. At the end of the day, it's truly a hilarious and engrossing game. A must buy if you haven't yet.

    Some cons to improve on.

    The FOV slider at max akin to a 90 year old lady with binoculars taped to her face. It's abysmal without the FOV mod and makes 1st person completely non functional for a large sector of the PC community. R* needs to increase the in game FOV slider to a much higher value.

    Online needs more stuff to do. Casino games, board walk games, the arcade machine from the last incarnation. There just is not enough after a short bit with friends... Even if it means including bowling.

    The flying shake is to much in my opinion. To each their own on this one.

    The quick menu (M key/Hold Back button on controller) is way to clunky for quick operation of snacks and armor.    … Expand

On 5k the game looks beautiful. The detail levels, soundtrack and ambient inmersión are another hit. Rockstar shows how a pc game must be released.     Well... Grand Theft Auto V are the best GTA what I ever playing. Theres some bugs but it's still amazing :) And we can do that what we love in GTA (killing innocent) but better :D

I was able to get online and play since minute 1 of the release. Mind you I'm glad I wasn't playing the Steam version of this game, as it seems that that's where most of the issues lied, with Steam. I had 3 people play with me online since minute one, non of us played the Steam version.

    Prior to launching the game for the first time I used DUU to clean my graphics driver from my system, and then proceeded to install the AMD 15.4 beta driver that supports GTA V, reboot and reboot. Nvidia has a GTA V release driver as well. Is the game perfect, no, there are still some graphical glitches and last night the game crashed on me. This is to be expected. On day one I played about 5 hours of this game and no crashes, day two I played 4 hours and it ran fine as well, day three I played 2 hours and the game crashed. Oh well, it is playable and these issues will get patched out.

    The online works a lot better than the console versions of the game, you can actually play with people online. You can get into other rooms and heist setups, unlike my experience with the Xbox One version.

    I haven't played GTA since GTA 2, now I'm back because of the online. The online is fun when playing with your buddies.    … Expand

Some staple GTA game elements are missing, and it doesn't reach the quality of the other games in the series.

    I think it fails predominantly because they made 3 protagonists for you to play. There also is not a clear antagonist for you to butt heads against. This makes the story mediocre at best. You just don't care. They spread themselves thin and it really shows around the middle of the game when the missions become boring.

    Buying houses is gone, and so is that feeling of moving up in the world. Managing properties is pointless, and you cannot even afford them all by the end of the game. The money system is tied to using the computer to buy stocks, which is a hilariously idiotic concept. Secret items aren't even shown to you initially or remotely worth hunting out. You remember in San Andreas when they showed you how to spray over tags in a quest? Apparently the devs couldn't be bothered to do that here. Most of the defining GTA open world game elements are gone or irrelevant.

    Sure, the game world is beautiful, but there is no substance. It is like a cardboard cutout Hollywood set. Beautiful facade, but hollow. Saints Row has managed to surpass GTA in making the type of game that Rockstar revolutionized. That is so unbelievably baffling.

    The bank heists were cool and all, but they shipped off the content to MP so that you cannot experience it solo. They introduce creating a crew and leveling them up over time, and then you don't see your crew again for 8 hours. It's like the game wanted you to be a bank robber, but then decided against it. The game should have been completely about doing heists because nothing in the series has made that a focal point. Rockstar had a good idea and failed to deliver on it. Instead, you get a fun, exciting mission, every once and a while..

    Also, I don't understand why anyone would want to race or do team deathmatch in GTA Online. Why do you want a graphic intensive world weighing you down for DM? Why deal with the terrible control of GTA cars to race competitively? I don't see MP appeal for this genre at all. Sandbox MP should not be normal car racing and DM. Also, the whole online experience is PvP even if you are just trying to ride around and explore, or do simple missions. That means a max level guy will see you on the map and kill you out of boredom while you are going into Ammunation or something trivial.

    The MP is uninspired. The heists are the only thing of value to do, but then you have to deal with a truly terrible GUI as well as a lot of loading times. The SP story falls flat on its face, and the game has no meat.

    I am truly gutted. Nevertheless, it is still fun, and there are moments that are worth experiencing. The problem is, you compare V against the other successful games in the series and it fails to rise to their level.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A technical accomplishment as always but there's really nothing to do in end game and the final missions are far from climactic. Even though I chose the 'death wish' option I just breezed through it. I suppose 1,500,000 of free in game cash will do that though zzzzzz. Maybe I won't pre order games anymore. Nothing much to spend your money on really though. Weapons of course, a few vehicles, not many. The map just isn't utilised during the missions either. There's so much more they could have done with it. I'm hoping that GTA online will offer up a reason to keep playing.… Expand

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
