    I almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do. The story is great, graphics are incredible, and just about everything else you can think of is carefully crafted. However, Rockstar seems to not be interested in expanding the base single-player experience and instead have focused on trying to push their horrible, grinding multi-player (probably so you spendI almost gave this a ten because it is an almost perfect game with so much to do.     I have played Gta 1-2-3-4 and 5 and I must admit that that Gta 5 is the best game I have ever played in my entire life.

    The story is the best thing in this game... 3 protagonists and every one is interesting (some games can't get even 1). fluid story telling, Controls , graphics (I recommend a good Graphics card to see all the eye candy's) at first the game had few bugs but they are    I have played Gta 1-2-3-4 and 5 and I must admit that that Gta 5 is the best game I have ever played in my entire life.

    The story is the best thing in this game... 3 protagonists and every one is interesting (some games can't get even 1). fluid story telling, Controls , graphics (I recommend a good Graphics card to see all the eye candy's)

    at first the game had few bugs but they are all sorted with time. (can't say the same about Multiplayer).
    I bought the game for it's Single Player and it's Huge ,took me 3 days of non stop playing to finish it.
    The game borrows many ideas from other games, movies, social media... from our life. one of the thing's that make this game great is it's ability to pull you in and forget about the real world.

    The voice acting is top notch in this game. (many actors from movies used to voice characters)
    Multiplayer is also good.hastes are a great way to play with friends, many things to do , will expand you playing time , example : i played Single player 3 days...Multiplayer I spent a month.
    the only negative thing about multiplayer is the connection bug. i have many friends in Gta 5 all around the world and every body have the same issue. from time to time you will get a Network error and will need to reconnect.(issue still not fixed by rockstar)
    Even with this multiplayer issue i am not going to decrease the rating.

    If you are reading this review please stop wasting time, go play the game :).    … Expand

    Overall its not bad, but the game's story is rather boring and it just doesn't feel like there is much to do. The online aspect of the game would have been awesome if done right, but sadly feels like an arbitrary grind for cash and, ways of getting cash are limited and not very fun and the things you can buy for cash aren't really that rewarding anyway.     Crappy console port. It crashes every 10 minutes. Huge waste of money.

    I hate the characters, they are complete morons. They are completely unrelatable.

    This Game allows a open word activity for everybody. It is the best game i have ever seen and the most beautiful game cause of the best graphic in games. But there are some bugs and Rockstar don't bring more content for the Single-player, they are focusing on the multiplayer and whith a friend it is more fun.

    Maybe the best computer game ever made, for any system. You certainly could argue it. I've played all the GTAs, each one right at release and again and again repeatedly over the years, and I've been a huge fan since the very first top down GTA way back when, and this is still the best GTA ever. It's so good it's almost literally unbelievable.

It's so good it's almost literally unbelievable.

    The PC port is clearly the best version of V, with an almost surreal amount of refinement, graphics options, control tweaks, full Surround/Eyefinity support that even includes HUD movement to prevent bezel interference, and the much lauded and stunningly amazing First Person Mode. The open world is alive and constantly in motion, the game is absolutely beautiful, the dialog is sharp and accurate, and the amount of content is gigantic bordering on ridiculous. The minigames are better than, or at least very comparable to, the full game titles that inspired them, and there's so many!

    The game does require a very powerful system to appreciate fully, but since when is that a negative? I'm extremely pleased that Rockstar pushed the envelope of what was possible, because the results speak for themselves. With the review system (specs below) I get steady 30fps through most every type of scene and location in the game, and that's with everything maxed out and vsync ON, except for FXAA instead of MSAA, and no reflection MSAA. Everything else totally maxed out and still 30fps @ 6040x1080. I think that at least merits a o_0, don't you? It's not a bad port at all, it's just got very high hardware requirements and people expect too much out of their old rigs.

    I've only played the game 13 hours so far (a drop in the bucket considering how endless the game is) but the adventures I've had already were so insane and numerous that I can barely recount them all. Spontaneous Burt Reynolds two wheeled flat spinning pistol blazing police chases. Rush hour fender benders that resulted in multiple (hilarious) vehicular manslaughters. Moody train rides across the countryside. Fistfights with angry winos. Giving anyone and everyone The Finger. The first jewely store heist that by itself makes Payday 2 look like an insulting pile of crap. And these are just the first few bites of a massive, 27 course, impeccably prepared banquet of video gaming destruction.

    So many developers getting lazy and greedy these days, but like Elzar the Neptunian Master Chef, Rockstar keep kicking it up another notch. BAM! Best 60 bucks I've ever spent on entertainment. I will play this masterpiece 300 hours or more... by next weekend. Truly GOTY, and one of the best video games of all time. For once, you can believe the hype.

    UPDATE 6/18/2015: 425 hours later I've beat the single player game and almost 100% it, leveled up my online character to level 121... and I still love GTA V to death.

    Sure, Rockstar has failed miserably to curb online hacking, they don't listen to their own community, their patches add very little, the "exclusive content" they reserved for returning players is an insult and a slap in the face to those that have supported them for so long, multiplayer is a buggy and hacker filled mess with far too little exclusive content, the game itself still regularly freezes up on me for absolutely no reason at all, and they've been incredibly cynical about marketing their stupid cash cards that cost a fortune and add absolutely nothing to the game...

    ...but GTA V is still incredibly awesome. You simply can't deny how awesome it is. Sorry. Can't be done. Best GTA ever, one of the best PC games ever, the end.    … Expand

    This game is good, beautiful graphics, epic characters, etc ... but in GTA Online, even worse because full Hackers / Modders (mod menu) / Cheaters as in The Division for PC.

    The game is great in a lot of things for sure, specially in the personality of the characters, but come on, i was expecting such a big deal from the final mission where you kill Trevor and i don't see how it could be more lame.

    And why would he call Michael first if he was going to do it anyways? Franklin himself says that Trevor is Michael's best friend and all, so wouldn't he think that Michael may not like the idea of he killing Trevor?
    Michael could just call Trevor and warn him up about it.
    I also think it should be more realistic in a lot of things, for example in that mission of hijacking the blitz with the masks on that you have to kill like all the police officers of the city, you just keep killing until they are all done and stop coming, then you just go away like nothing happened hahahaha    … Expand

    Beautiful to look at, with a giant world and tons to do. But I didn't enjoy the driving, shooting, or characters, and those were the most important things in the game.

    GTA V es una gran obra maestra valió la pena la espera en PC. Y mi PC no cumple 2 de los requisitos mínimos pero me lo tira y eso me encanta, vale su precio.

    The shooting mechanics are tight, responsive and weighty.The cover system is fluid and the variety of scenarios keep the action fun and engaging. The vehicle physics have great weight and the driving is good. Once you arrive at your destination you will likely be asked to drive somewhere else; This is not an oversimplification. The characters are cliche yet entertaining and the many story exposition sections were mostly fun to watch and interact with. Heist missions make up the core of the campaign and allows the player to choose from different tactical approaches at the onset of the mission; It's a welcome addition but ultimately fails to add a satisfying level of strategy to the experience. Character wise, the agenda is palpable; The white southerner is a depraved murderous maniac, The italian-american is a mobster, and the black kid is a walking vegetable. Overall, the game promotes amorality, pornography, violence by the truckloads. In fact, I'd be curious to research on the ethnic/religious background of the writers and producers. As it is the case with agenda products, the game is very well produced, and the audio-visual realization is great; The world feels alive. This is a casual game that manages to entertain beyond its shallow mechanics.… Expand

    One of the greatest open world games I have played. The story and characters are great, the shooting is solid but could be better, the amount of sidequests and content is amazing, and the graphics are beautiful. The games map is massive and has lots of depth there are so many little details and great atmosphere.     social club is a complete trash. It may be a great game, but social club never bother to optimize the game. Instead of patching it up stupid add-ons such as freemode events and vip's registration are introduced.

    It's a little late for such a review, but I just recently was able to piece together a machine that could run this on max settings and enjoy it how it's truly supposed to be enjoyed. Grand Theft Auto V is nothing short of a masterpiece and the the first 10 I've given out to a game younger than 5 years old (My Witcher 3 review is coming soon). This is one of the only games I can load up andIt's a little late for such a review, but I just recently was able to piece together a machine that could run this on max settings and enjoy it how it's truly supposed to be enjoyed. This is one of the only games I can load up and be amazed every time, usually by something unique that I discovered or a new line of chaos I caused running from the cops. This game overall offers more than most any other games created, and on a much more realistic basis than the past.     Excellent game. Have played on three platforms (PS3, PS4 and now PC). I normally would give a "10" to offset the "0's" but this time I'm just giving it what I would for what the game deserves. My opinion on the game has to do with the SINGLE PLAYER PORTION ONLY because I don't play, or have any interest whatsoever in multiplayer games of any kind.     In one word: overrated. People even qualifying this as the best game in 2015 is just simply sad. The game is not bad, let's face it, you can be a gangster for one day, graphically it's extremely beautiful, it's cool that there's an open world with random side-stories happening and stuff but other than that, the missions are boring, the control is pretty bad, there's not even a decent storyIn one word: overrated.     Best open world game I've played so far, the main story is so interesting and being able to choose your way in heist is just awesome, the strangers and freaks missions are so much fun too and you can play for hours without getting bored, hobbies and pastimes are so great, golf,tennis,darts,races it's all just a great game, specially in FPS, highly recommended :D

    Otro mas de la saga GTA y otro pedazo de juego con mayúsculas. Mundo muy extenso, control de tres personajes cada uno de ellos con una personalidad muy particular, cientos de actividades que hacer, buenos gráficos, muchos misterios por descubrir y una gran historia con 3 finales posibles.

    First of all, it looks beautiful. The map is huge, and it has a LOT of a sandbox-vibe to it. It's pretty much up to you what you want to do. You can focus on the (pretty cool) story and do the missions, some of them very epic, or you can drive around, buy businesses for extra income, look for cool cars for your collection (which you can store at a garage you buy, so you won't lose them), try different sports, hunt, explore etc.
    The world feels SO alive, with little things happening all the time... robberies, theft, or, something like this:
    I was drivng around somewhere in the backwoods, and suddenly saw a hitchhiker. I stopped, and he turned out to be a convict who had escaped from a nearby prison. He attacked me, and I paid him back dearly by hunting him down with my car.
    The characters are cool... crazy Trevor, the Tony Soprano-like Michael and Franklin, who kinda accidentially ends up in these criminal activities, but is actually a nice guy. There are some very fun heists, some cool quests to do, and SO much side-activity... playing the stock-market (you can get really rich if you do the right purchases before and after some of the assassinations Franklin is hired to do)...
    This game REALLY is an achievement, with such an incredible amount of detail, so much to do, so well-polished (no crashes, hardly ever any lag, great performance even on the graphics card I had back then, a GT 730), and just so well-done. Easily a 10/10, even though only 2 games get that rating from me in 2015.    … Expand

    Constantly crashes. I rarely get more than 10 minutes out of the game before the screen goes blank. Been like that since I bought it in January. Many emails to support, many suggestions none of which work. Asked for a refund and got more suggestions that don't work. This game has now been removed from my PC. rather use the 60GB of storage    Do not buy this game for the PC.

    Meh story, with really great world built around them. Looks pretty though. Can't say i'd recommend it to anyone though. Play a few missions and you've basically seen the entire game. More of a simulator than a game.

    I gave a 8 to GTA IV and I'm gonna give GTA V a 7. Yes, in my opinion GTA IV is better. Not only that we had to wait about two years before V came to PC, the texture quality didn't really change from current gen consoles. I loved IV's story and characters and V was a disappointment in that aspect... V's gameplay is the main reason people like it. I agree on that. V's atmosphere is mehI gave a 8 to GTA IV and I'm gonna give GTA V a 7. Yes, in my opinion GTA IV is better.     The main story is great, but the game has had it's performance destroyed with recent updates for some reason. I've also encountered several glitches that have wiped my garages and bank accounts in both SP and MP modes, which was extremely frustrating . Also, the online is so full of hackers and griefers that it's really not fun to play, even with friends.

    PRO: superb graphics + huge and varied map + many details as vehicles, animals, people, buildings, etc depending of the area where you are + story is well written and interesting + missions are fun and different + 3 characters to play + much more
    CONS: nothing to point out

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
