    This is a cool game! If you don't have any plans for a day and you want to relax with a game, This is a game for you! You can murder or kill people for no reason and destroy stuff. I played this game and it is fun and enjoyable especially with friends just messing up. I don't know about the missions cause I didn't play it and I think it is more fun to jack off and blow some ****

    Grand Theft Auto 5 is a good game, however it is more of the same. Rockstar did little to change the genre that it created with Grant Theft Auto 3. GTA V is essentially a conglomeration of everything that came before it. The story and characters (Trevor, Franklin, and Michael) are compelling and interesting. The graphics are astounding on the PC. The gameplay is the same as all of itsGrand Theft Auto 5 is a good game, however it is more of the same.     I feel like Rockstar could have done a little more innovation. Rockstar is a company capable of producing high quality, unique games. GTA V was a rehash of the company's old efforts in new packaging. The only difference in GTA V is the ability to play from 3 different main characters. There really is no "main" character, which is not a bad thing.

    All in all, GTA V is a good game with not very unique gameplay. It's more of the same that Rockstar has produced before, but it's still fun and offers many moments of enjoyment.    … Expand

    Pros: Very large, extremely detailed world. Character switching is a lot of fun. Plenty of cars to choose from. A lot of things to do. Obviously, a lot of work was put into the making of this game. Works quite well on my lower end machine. It appears to have a lot of replay value.

    This game is awesome. The story is absolutely amazing, the world is huge, and the gameplay mechanics are great. The only problem is that after a while it turns into one of those games that you play when you are bored. But otherwise its fantastic!

    I'll break this down between single player and online.

    Single Player is a near perfect masterpiece. Probabaly the absolute best single player game of all time. If you are looking into this game for SP, then its a no brainer.

    However, next we have "GTA Online"
    Its a mixed review.
    I have a lot of hours into online and I will continue to put a lot of additional hours into online.
    PROS:
    It gets constant content added several times a year the release "free" DLC's
    There really is a lot to do, if you wish you can really role play the most corrupt criminal to the fullest extent.

    CONS:
    I'll just start out with the biggest con.
    The game has clearly taken a big turn in the last couple years and its intesifying toward micro-transactions.
    Its pretty obvious, the keep raising the prices of items you purchase in game, compared to the amount of money you earn. Unless you are dedicating your life to this game, its pretty hard to obtain the in game items. And if you are starting out as a new player, the amount of money you need to catch up is really a huge obstacle.
    I am not one of those people who are defiantly against micro transactions, but these aren't even fair micro transactions.
    Rockstar keeps raisning the price of the in game items, but the amount of money given out on a "shark card" has never been adjusted.
    Here is an example, a 8 Million dollar shark card (unless on sale) costs $99 always has.
    It use to be that most items were under 1 million with the extremely high dollar things around $2 million.
    So for $99 you could typically buy say 5-15 items for $99.
    Fast forward to today.
    Most items are over 1 million closer to 2 million on average) and the most expensive items are 4 million with a yet to be released item that is going to be 6.5 million. Rockstar is really going for a money grab here and they aren't even attempting to hide it. Not to mention that the latest DLC the amount of money you can earn per hour has actually gone down from the previuous ones. So higher prices to buy stuff, lower income from doing work. So you are forced to not really play the new DLC but the old ones for cash. Which is a shame because the new missions are actually very fun, they just dont pay well.

    So if you are new and want to ever come close to catching up to current players you have 3 choices. 1.) Buy Shark Cards and ALOT of them. Several hundred dollars worth. 2.) Play an insane amount of hours, quit life and play this game every day, all day long 3.) Cheat - Find mods or a modder and get "modded money". Warning you can actually get banned for this. I cant even beleive I am giving this advice out, I use to depise money modders, but given the greed coming out of Rockstar now days, I really understand why new players would do it, and I dont frankly care anymore.

    So you might ask, Why do I have this game as recommmened still.

    When it comes down to the game itself, single player and even online.
    It's fun, there is a lot of varitey, I can do missions, I can race cars, I can pvp, I can play mini games (and there are dozens of varietys of games) I've played 600 hours and honeslty still to this day havent even played 1/2 the things you can do. There is a massive amount of content. The game is fun.

    The politics behind the scenes is horrible, the comminity is toxic, and the micro tranactions are getting out of control. But at the core its still fun and I still enjoy it after all this time.
    But on the other hand we probabbaly wouldnt get all these updates without the microtransactions, so there is that factor too.

    I rate GTA 5

Every single time I launch GTA, the    Grand Theft Auto V is by far the best game that Rockstar has released into the series. The vast open-world environment paired with the simply insane gameplay often lead to a very enjoyable experience that not very many other games can offer.
    Dynamic and unique gameplay seems to have been very important in the design of this game, and it certainly shows. Every single time I launch GTA, the experience is new and varied. This is especially helped by the inclusion of three main story characters, which can be switched to at will. Each of these characters is vastly different form one another in personality and abilities, but yet they fit into a much wider and gripping storyline. This is especially shown off in a few of the many story missions, where the three characters can be used seamlessly and as a team to complete a task. Rockstar knows its strengths, which is why literally the first mission in the game fully utilises this mechanic.
    Thankfully, the fun and crazy action of the games missions also transfers into the free-play in between (which you can easily spend hours playing). The large map of Los Santos and Blaine County are perfectly designed to allow the player to do almost anything. Want to fly around in a jet, steal one from the military base (but try not to get shot down); feel like starting a gang war, just rock up and start one. Almost anything that the player can come up with can be achieved so brilliantly in GTA V (which can also be enhanced by the use of cheats that can be inputted). Both the free play and missions of this game have been wonderfully designed, with incredible scenes of action continuously maintained throughout. The new first-person feature has also been included in this version, adding an entirely fresh perspective on the word of GTA.
    The DLC is a bit controversial, the items being added are what everyone wants, but the price of these items in game and also in real life are extremely expensive. For example, if you want to by a hangar with all the upgrades and the most expensive plane in the game with all the upgrades also it will cost you over £100 in real money for two items, that’s crazy. This is also a great business model, but it’s getting ridiculous as it is turning into a pay to win game, which becomes boring as you’ve got to play missions over and over again to earn money, but still not get enough money to buy a single DLC item. Originally when the game came out the items were all reasonably priced so shark card were a good option that get plenty for your money. They have expanded this game greatly adding new experiences and whole new meaning to crazy but if only it was affordable.
    In addition to the story mode, Grand Theft Auto has a multiplayer alongside it. This can be switched to at any time, where many, many more options become available. GTA's multiplayer is free roam ramped up to 11, especially with the new larger lobbies that the Xbox One and PC versions of the game offer. After customising your character, you can do missions to earn in game currency, then continue to build your own little empire of illegal warehouses, upgraded vehicles and hangars full of planes. The opportunities are even greater than that of the story mode, but yet it is exactly where the only problem with GTA lies...
    Having owned this game since it first launched, I have personally experience the incredible growth of the Online, as Rockstar add many new (and free) DLC's. These for the most part have been incredible, each becoming more ambitious than the last and expanding the game massively. However, as more and more items are added, they begin to cost more and more of the in-game's currency. This has reached the point now where it quickly becomes a boring grind to even be able to afford the cheapest of the new additions. Of course, Rockstar offer "Shark cards" that can be purchased with real world money and translate into game currency, but this is just adding to the issue, with Rockstar adding more and more expensive items so that they can gain more profits from the game.
    Overall Grand Theft Auto V is a massive success, which has really set a standard for open world games, but soon becomes a grind if you're interested in purchasing the newest items without having to use your real world funds.    … Expand

It feels so real and so visually stunning that you would go for hours into this game and not want to let go at the end of the day.     One of the best works Rockstar Games has ever done, just the map design alone is a winner here. There's lots of great story missions and then there's also very bad/meh ones, so overall i would say GTA 4 had better story, but GTA 5 is still fun enough. But the real star of GTA 5 is it's open world, map full of interesting places, easter eggs and of course ocean exploring.     people who had problem's installing it for what ever reason. I have not had one problem running it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I hope they sell a ton on pc so maybe i want have to wait so long for GTA 6 lol! Oh and i'm loving the online play!

    To me personally, this game really is masterpiece in every sense of that word. No game has impressed me as much as GTA V PC Version did in 2015. But i'm only talking about single player, never cared about multiplayer part. Simply amazing game.

    The Pros:

    Great graphics.
    Great music.
    Still capable of using own music with "built-in" radio station suitably called "Self Radio"
    (This is not rocket science, but some people appear to have trouble using it...I dunno why)
    Fairly decent single player campaign/story mode with a feasible, somewhat realistic plot (for a GTA game at least).
    Playing through the campaign with three separate characters as opposed to just one throughout adds a fresh twist to the game and clearly seems to have allowed for a greater level of plot to be created.
    Moddable. It's entirely moddable. The down side of that is that already some dumbass clowns have already tried to infect people's computers with nasties aplenty - one such mod springing to mind is the angry planes mod - which after having been uploaded, stayed uploaded for some time until it came to various people's attention that it needed taking down pronto.
    The other downside of modding GTA is if you're caught using mods on GTA V whilst online, you do run the risk of getting banned.
    Potential for great multiplayer experiences.

    Cons:

    Only two for steam users - not sure about the retail version though.
    1. Loading times take the piss. That is, to some extent I imagine, likely to change with the aforementioned update due to roll out in a few day's time. Seamless, load-free action. The impression I'm given from that and what I've seen is that if you see something you want to take part in, you just get in there and get on with it, as opposed to the current 'choose a job' wait for the job to load, finish the job, rate the job, load another job, etc ad nauseum. This is going to be a massive update and I really hope it works.
    2. For some reason, Rockstar don't appear to be happy with only having to 'activate' the game once through online means, preferring that if you're going to use the game you paid good money for, having you to wait for it to get 'activated' at launch, every. Flippin'. Time.
    Annoying as hell.
    3. As much as there is a potential for great multiplayer experiences with this game, as you can imagine there's also a potential to come across some pretty stupid wankers. By and large, the community seems to be fairly decent enough, with only a few children ruining it for everyone else.

    GTA for the PC has come along very well and looks to be continuing to improve effectively. If only they would get rid of the blasted long intros and the absolutely ridiculous activation process - when surely random activation checks would be better than on a per launch basis.    … Expand

For example someone can add object to your character so u cant do anything (it is hilarious for a moment i admit), loading times - if u try to join other session (to join survival, heist etc) and it is full and u cant join it you not go back to your open session, you need to wait to load new session (thats why i moved game to SSD so it is not that much of a problem).    … Expand

    Hard freezes, bsods, and garbage crossfire support. The same kind of issues that gta 4 had bring down a great game to a mediocre port. Voice acting is great but the characters leave a lot to be desired. Side activities are numerous but not much fun.

    Great graphic and AI.
    Lots of side quests, random events, easter eggs.
    Nice story.
    Gun control is a lot better.
    GTA online is fun too.

    But I love the car physics in GTA IV more.

    This is for the PC version. I broke my own rule about pre-ordering for this game. I wait patiently for each GTA to be released on PC and have never been disappointed, so I pre-ordered. I can say without a doubt that it was more than worth it.

    This review comes after the PC version has been out for a few months now. The things that are good are the single player story, the visuals, the customization, the performance on a high-end rig. Things that are not so good are the bugs, the rampant cheating in multiplayer, and the dwindling online community.

    At launch I would have given this a solid 9 out of 10. However, over time, more bugs have crept in. There are some FPS drops now even on a GTX 980TI. As I mentioned, the multiplayer cheats and hacks are out of control.

    Overall, the negatives were minor detractors for me. The combined experience is fantastic. The unscripted mayhem that happens in multiplayer missions and heists is pure gold. I can easily recommend picking this one up at full price. If you see it on sale, just shut up and buy it :)    … Expand

    The game is fun and really solid in every way, the controls and playability are well implemented and responsive.     The game is fun and really solid in every way, the controls and playability are well implemented and responsive.
    On the technical side, it has some really stunning and beautiful graphics and effects, the city looks gorgeous and the countryside, desert zones, woods, beaches, mountains, etc., are just amazing.
    The sea is what impressed me the most, IMO it’s over the top, it feels very realistic and when you stand near the shore you feel video games will never be the same again if a virtual sea can be this overwhelming. It really feels this game is taking PC gaming to its limits, so if you have a solid rig to run it then you will find here one of the best looking and most technically impressive games for PC ever. Having a system capable of running this beast on ultra-settings will make you think that all your hardware is being put to the test and that your investment was totally worth it.
    I’m very happy with this version, yes the PC version is awesome and everything is almost flawless.
    As a good sandbox this open world has literally tons of things to do, it feels huge!
    Coop is really fun and amazing, with lots of unlockable missions, races, heists, sports, shopping, activities, and a lot more to do, plus they keep adding more and more content.
    The story mode is well developed and it has funny characters (in their own GTA way). The humor is satirical and politically incorrect (as it should be in a -rated M- GTA). At first I thought the idea of having 3 characters simultaneously was strange and probably not good, but when you play it you realize it works really well.
    Gameplay wise, driving is well implemented, intuitive and feels natural, shooting, swimming, running and moving around are too. The game is cool as it is on 3d person already , but it adds the bonus of a 1st person experience, you can switch on the go and it’s really nice too. And with so many types of vehicles, ground, air and sea, and a lot of guns at your disposal, it never feels repetitive or boring. I love clothing and shopping, I have spent hours in the clothing stores, shopping is fun!
    On the sound department, effects are stunning and I love the soundtrack! , a lot of GTA V songs now are part of my personal playlists.
    In general a lot of attention was given to every little detail. This is basically a masterpiece and a perfect game, simply one of the very best games there are for PC. Justice has been served for PC gamers and the wait was very much worth. I absolutely love it.
    So once again, if you don’t have it yet, what are you waiting for?, you should be playing it right now instead of being here reading this.

    I know that rockstar has messed up this game way too many times and that they have and still are milking this game for money but I still won't ever get over how amazing, how polished, how unbelievable this game is. Sure it has flaws but let's also look at how much detail was put into this game. Just the physics, the mechanics, the graphics. Everything worked out so well.     What I just said would have made this game into a 7/10. Why? If you cant drive, in a game where theres 3 ways of moving, walking, driving, flying.and where in order to fly, you needed to drive to the airport, then you would have a problem in your hands, BUT WAIT, you can plug in a controller, problem solved. :)

    Aiming is also improved, since its easier with a mouse.
    Also: NO PRE-GAME LOADING SCREENS! I mean yeah, you have to load when changing from the Story mode to GTA Online, but when you load up the game, there is no loading screen!
    Only one complaint remains: Running is Caps Lock- if Im not mistaken, and Shift makes my GTA Online character stop and do some weird hand gestures, witch I cannot stop doing until the animation has stopped, it can incapacitate me from combat very easily.

    Overall: Everything is divided. On the keyboard aiming is amazing but driving is bad, but on the controller, aiming is a little worse, but the driving is okay.    … Expand

    It's a perfect PC game if you have the hardware. Yes, getting to the actual game can be a pain because of the required downloads and the goofy Social Club launcher--but those are minor niggles. People giving this game a low score are losers who are trying to run it on their granddad's Pentium 200 laptop. Buy it.

The heists are some of the BEST strategic coop experiences I've had putting things like Payday, L4D, Tom Clancy's, to shame. The detail in the GTAV world is unmatched me and friends have spent hours just dirt biking in the mountains and pausing to watch sunsets over the city. The world is actually beautiful like you will pull out your phone and take pictures of landscapes because they are that good. Character animations are off the charts from how people walk to pick their noses; they are the best you've ever seen and I am a character animation snob! The world changes as your driving around with people's talk and walk and behavior switching from city slickers, to homeless, to red necks to college students etc as you roam around. The ultimate mark of its greatness is that my wife (a regular not nerd girl, she's into shopping, getting her nails done and working out; regular city girl) who has never played games in her life has got into GTAV I had to build her a PC and shes now level 50 in multiplayer and roles with me and my crew all the time; I have even come home to her playing without me!!! She now on many date nights just wants to ditch the kids and play GTAV together! We sell drugs together, run over fat people together, run from the cops together it's unheard of! My only gripe with GTAV is server wide voice chat instead of Local only Voice Chat. Meaning I wish you had to be actually near someone in the server to be able to yell at them through your mic instead of hearing everyone all over the server. It's chaotic and most people just turn it off eliminating a lot of the social aspect with random others but I mostly just play with friends so not a big deal to me.… Expand

You can focus on the (pretty cool) story and do the missions, some of them very epic, or you can drive around, buy businesses for extra income, look for cool cars for your collection (which you can store at a garage you buy, so you won't lose them), try different sports, hunt, explore etc.
    The world feels SO alive, with little things happening all the time... robberies, theft, or, something like this:
    I was drivng around somewhere in the backwoods, and suddenly saw a hitchhiker. I stopped, and he turned out to be a convict who had escaped from a nearby prison. He attacked me, and I paid him back dearly by hunting him down with my car.
    The characters are cool... crazy Trevor, the Tony Soprano-like Michael and Franklin, who kinda accidentially ends up in these criminal activities, but is actually a nice guy. There are some very fun heists, some cool quests to do, and SO much side-activity... playing the stock-market (you can get really rich if you do the right purchases before and after some of the assassinations Franklin is hired to do)...
    This game REALLY is an achievement, with such an incredible amount of detail, so much to do, so well-polished (no crashes, hardly ever any lag, great performance even on the graphics card I had back then, a GT 730), and just so well-done. Easily a 10/10, even though only 2 games get that rating from me in 2015.    … Expand

    Best open world game I've played so far, the main story is so interesting and being able to choose your way in heist is just awesome, the strangers and freaks missions are so much fun too and you can play for hours without getting bored, hobbies and pastimes are so great, golf,tennis,darts,races it's all just a great game, specially in FPS, highly recommended :D

    In this game there aren't minus (not to mention mods). Multiplayer in this game - multiplayer of dream, you can do anything action and increase RP. Storyline is very twisted. Everything else was said before me. 10/10.

Personally, I liked a new feature with three heroes. The online part of this game wasn't so interesting for me, unfortunately. However, if you are a big fan of GTA, buying this is necessary.

The Los Santos just a fantastic place, even though there's plenty of new game released, I still came back played the story mode once again. Be an anti-socialist person in the game is the biggest part how you call it ''GTA''. But the online mode is kind of less enjoyable. That its online component is still receiving updates, and doesn't actually charge for its new content, is also a rarity these days.

    My only criticism comes from the Social Club software. Now, the idea is quite brilliant: rather than go down the route of a whole seperate store, like Origin, it acts as an intermediary bundled with the game itself (and, presumably, every new game released). Regardless of being sold on Steam or anywhere else. I actually have nothing wrong with this. I can understand a publisher wanting control of its software and to create a kind of "walled garden" to its extra features. I was even sympathetic to Origin, as I would probably go down the route of creating my own store if I had a bunch of IPs and wanted to distribute the games myself. However, bundling it with every copy, Steam or not, means users can access what is quite a unique social experience... They can be given the chance to be sold on the idea without affecting how they access the game, rather than Origin which seemed to receive universal hate.

    My frustration comes from a seemingly constant failure to download the game through Social Club, making me punch myself for not just buying it for twice the price on Steam. Ultimately, it turned out, it WAS downloading... I just almost needed to constantly remind it to download by hitting "retry" (why not just make it automatic?).    … Expand

    Easily one of the best games ever created. The city is beautiful, the story exciting! Playing with the three different protagonists is a breath of fresh air. You can easily just drive around the map for hours and get lost by looking at all of the different sights. Tight driving controls also!     Very fun single player campaign. A lot to do and being able to play as multiple characters with different super powers makes this game a new experience. I thought this game would be similar to the previous iterations but with better graphics but I was wrong. The core game play still involves the same fun shooting and car jacking mechanics.     o Jogo em si é muito bom, tanto online quanto modo historia, Mais retirar a ferramenta de transferir personagem, Deu muito motivo pra min não comprar o jogo, So comprei pois achei q ia conseguir transferir minha conta do xbox 360 (antiga geração), Para o PC (Nova Geração), Take-Two Devolve a ferramenta de Tranferencia

    The most fun game I've seen :) Personally, I went through the story line completely! but I did not go through any side tasks :( I do not want to go online because there were too many superfluous cramps in there! But in a single game I added a couple of mods and enjoyed life again) I recommend everyone to play!

    An amazing sandbox game that I find myself continually going back to play LSPDFR. Rockstar built an amazing world that set the standard. The main story is fun and interesting but with combat being a little clunky, but the most fun consists of just being in the world.

    The map is wonderful. The graphics are gorgeous. The amount of things you can do are exceptionally long. The online mode is fun. I set up my own skybox apartment over the city. I remade a version of an old Jeep I once owned when I was younger. I basically made myself in the game. Met a lot of friends. Overall... just a fun experience. Rockstar has out done itself.

    story mode is excellent and entertaining classic gta except the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ parts, takes roughly 50 hours to finish it but It is quite full of things to do .
    And It has heists both in online and story modes loud/stealth which payday 2 used to be about but not really successful, Gta V perfected it except the fact that when 1 noob dies or    One must play pretty much every game made by rockstar.

    Psycho trevor and Max payne Aka Micheal is making this game a lot more interesting and fun fps where you murder ♥♥♥♥ ton of cops and gangsters.
    Last part of the story mode is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ though I wanted to kill useless negro franklin but apparently franklin is the one who chooses which one dies Edit: Gta online gets boring after 100 hours there is nothing to do other than grinding cash and buying new stuff and developers constantly adding overly expensive stuff so players will have a reason to play this game and buy those cars/houses/yachts etc some adversary modes they add once in a month can also be fun.
    not to mention there are really huge amount of cheaters since rockstar games left no choice to them either player 10 hours a day and get the new 'content' or ♥♥♥♥ off and they are still trying to destroy modded servers yet they don't have their own official servers rockstar making huge loads of cash with as minimum effort as possible

    Contact jobs pay little to nothing and are not fun mostly only 2 of them gives decent cash and RP ıf you grind them mindlessly still recommend to new players along with featured adversary modes
    Heists are a cancer to finish pay is not worth it unless you are the host= 55%. and there are very little amount of heists like 4 or 5 gets boring or annoying after some time.
    Featured adversary modes were fun a while ago but the things they make now is garbage even though they supposed to be double cash and rp It still pays ♥♥♥♥
    yet they still publish ''free'' dlcs with a million dollar + bunker,garage,mobile center,Ceo or whatever the ♥♥♥♥ and vehicles that start of 3.5million+ meaning that they want people to be unable to buy them and invest in shark cards$$$$

Grand Theft Auto V the only reason I am only giving this an 8 is because of the mods it would be lower well let's talk about this game well here we have one of my hyped up games ever and the most milked game I've seen in years and the most disappointing games ever made I already know a lot of people are not going to like this but oh well half the community has not even play the old GTA's but anyway, this game sucks here is why the story boring I don't understand all the characters are not even good the only one which is decent is Michael rest horrible Trevor most annoying killed one of m,y fav characters thank you not franklin could have been if they would have focused on him, not Michael or trevor, of course, that does not happen this game had so much potential sadly it is just a really disspoainting game what is with the love with this game I don't get it the only good thing I can say the very beginning is good and the shooting mechanics are good the rest garbage the cops u walk next to them they try to shoot u what a great idea right NO everything I have mentioned is garbage the skills you can get does nothing in other gta games did something the map is not even good either everything about this game I just hate the only people would only get this review who have played the old gta games understand what those did and this game did nothing so allround horrible game I give it a D without mods with mods an B… Expand

    The amount of content you get for the money is absolutely incredible. The single player is well worth it on its own and online mode, while far from perfect, easily adds hundreds of hours of gameplay.

    Rockstar knows how make good games. This Witcher 3 overhyped depression-simulator is nothing compared to this masterpiece. GTA 5 had nudity just like Witcher 3, but unlike Witcher3, GTA 5 is actually fun game. You can put nudity into games as much as you want until you have something else as well.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
