    It's a great game. Fantastic story, great graphics, huge map, a bundle of fun. Ignore the usual idiots that do not understand the concept of a review or rating, these people would claim it's a perfect game except one little thing and all of a sudden the rating switches from a 10 to a 0.

    Best GTA so far and I have played them all. The campaign is epic just pure fun the graphics are top notch. Its pure ART the size of this game and the attention to the littlest detail alone is just pure talent. Thank you Rockstar .o0O

    If the game doesn't work for you, then that's your problem. You were warned about minimum specs and you were warned about how big the game is to download.

    It's GTA V do I have to explain why it's a 10?

    I bought the steam version so I can't speak too much on the issues non steam version are having except to say that 2 of my friends who bought non-steam versions were playing with me about 2 hours after official release.

    For my version... Runs smooth as silk. I own this game on PS3, PS4 and now on PC. Of those launches the PC is by far the smoothest.     For my version... Runs smooth as silk. I own this game on PS3, PS4 and now on PC. Of those launches the PC is by far the smoothest. All server wait times are faster, I don't get kicked incessently. A few issues trying to get in servers with crew members but they might have been full or something. I've seen some janky cars around during some missions but other than that smooth as hell. Graphics are gorgeous, first person shooting and driving feels fantastic. First person shooting feels just about as good as dedicated FPS's, but the game has so much more.

    Single player is fantastic, online is fantastic. Loving finally getting to play this game with my PC friends. Brought my character over from consoles, went nuts on the server, drove my mental state into the abyss and spent about $30k in ammo. Worth every penny. get this game...thru steam.    … Expand

    This version is superior to the console versions in every way. Probably the best release on PC in years, maybe since Battlefield 2/Diablo 2/Half Life 2. The game is very well optimized and has already been patched 2 or 3 times in the 2 weeks since release to fix crashes/bugs/minor performance issues. This is Rockstar's best release in their history.

    First off I guess I have address my ability to install software. I hit some ok buttons and it worked! No problems at all.

    The game is amazing. I'm able to run it maxed out (1080p maxed out) and it blows my mind. From the start you are hit with amazing visuals and a tutorial that is smart, fun and give you the feel for this game. GTA IV this is not.     This is the defenitive version! ive played the ps3 and ps4 version and then transfered my character to pc.
    this game is worth being bought 3 times and the improvements over the ps4 version are insane!

    I love this game, it's just pure awesomeness. Majority of the low scores or negative reviews are people crying about crashes. How is that in anyway reviewing the actual game, especially if you have not even played the game yet due to an error? Anyway, highly recommend this game, it's a perfect GTA title.

    Currently the best game in the world. The GTA V is the most detailed, the most enjoyable video game! ( I need least 150 character to submit so just buy it. You wont regret it.

    This PC port is undoubtedly the best way to experiance Rockstar's sprawling Los Santos. Character models look improved, the first person mode is improved, more over all, there is the new Rockstar Editior in which players get to make their own mayhem. The game supports mods, and a lot of them will be popping up on community forums, and many websites.     I bet even 5 years old equipment could get decent framerates with this game, on reasonable settings.

    After Max Payne 3 optimization Ive had high hopes for this game. Rockstar didn't disappoint me. It is simply great. Plus - no more bouncy cars like in gta IV, Driving model is a lot sharper, it feels really good.

    And the game itself? Well, if you are here, you know what to expect and you are not mistaken :)

    I'm not gonna lie, it took me about 15 days to find the correct graphics settings to avoid stuttering/screen freze but i finally have it. It can and i'm sure it will get optimizations soon but as of now, the game runs smooth and look gorgeous. I find myself doing heists and missions from time to time but most of the time i grab my car and drive    Worked for me since zero hour.

    wonderful graphics pleasing to look at, regarding performance there are wide variety of options to change, to suit your PC hardware, amazing open world will let you immerse hours and hours with this game

    Absolutely amazing game, it´s ahead for whole generation in terms of fun, graphics and story. After horrible GTA IV (really bad port) we (pc gamers) have finally perfect GTA game. Must have and one of the best games ever made.

    This is a masterpiece in the gaming history.No need for a long review..

    Only issue is some fps drops in some areas while driving in the midday,which will be fixed soon-hopefully.

    If there is a game that deserves a ten this is it. This is the best game currently on the PC.. The cars handle perfectly, the ocean and boats spot on, flying is great. There are always room for improvements but there is nothing to complain about here. I finished the game and I will play it again, and again, until a new one is released on PC.

    This game deserves a solid 8.5 but then there are people giving it a zero.
    there are quite a lot of bugs in the game which has not been fixed yet, even with update 2.
    And Runs like a dream on my gtx 780ti and fx 8350! definelty worth a buy guys! finally a good game after so many years!

    Amazing, full optimized. Awesome graphics, no problems with framerate. I have a i5 3330 and gtx 960 i dont have any problems to play it on high settings.

    This game is amazing and the optimization is really good aswell
    I was worried that it would be the same as GTA IV but no , rockstar really did a great job on this one!!!
    There are people who have issues launching the game on laptops so keep that in mind if you want to buy the game.

    WOW just WOW i have now bought this game at all 3 major launches of it and i couldn't be more happy the pc version seems well optimized and fun the mouse and keyboard work well with it and i am extremely happy with my 3rd purchase of gtav.

    i run with a good pc so i expect it to run well which it does by far i play on a mix of high and very high settings averaging 90+ fps in 1080p my    WOW just WOW i have now bought this game at all 3 major launches of it and i couldn't be more happy the pc version seems well optimized and fun the mouse and keyboard work well with it and i am extremely happy with my 3rd purchase of gtav.

    No slow-downs at all, feels like it never drops below the magical 60fps.
    Never heard the "N word" used so much in 60 seconds! ..and some of the dialogue is very funny and explicit..I love it!! Only played about 10hrs (most of that was wandering around doing silly things) But even after    Amazing, running an i74770k and T80ti Windforce GPU and everything is on very high or ultra @1080p

    Just because a game doesn't start for a few people does not mean it's a 0. This game is a 10. I'm sorry if you can't get it running for some reason, but spamming 0 scores because there's some problems with the launch of an incredibly complex piece of software is just childish.

    The PC port of GTA V is quite frankly the game in it's most prime state - Hundreds of choices for customizing your settings, strong servers for playing online, gameplay is smooth and the GTA V storyline can be picked up once more without the game feeling like it is outdated. This version has been long awaited, and the wait was worth it.

I prefer to buy physical games due to having really bad internet speed. And it would have been nice if there could be a choice to put the aiming reticule on the screen when you're not aiming. I take longer to get enemies in my sights due to this. It would have been better if there could be an option to have it all the time, as well as a transparency for it when I'm not aiming. Then I could get a better idea before I aim and see it properly. This is probably just used to playing FPS games.

    The only other issues, is that I can't use all the keys I choose to. The Home and Page Up keys aren't bindable. I play left-handed, so it would have been better if I could change the Rockstar SC function to something else and free up that key.

    It'd also be a good idea if some things could be bound to the same key, like in Battlefield. There's an interact binding, as well as a secondary one for things like accessing your wardrobe. I'd use Enter for interact, but now I need something else for that. This would be a nice addition to it, if a number of functions could mix. I'd love to have my reload (right shift) as character select if I held it instead of tapped it. We could double up on our bindings if something like this is possible.

The game is smooth as    I played the entire story on PS3. What always got me on the PS3 version was how choppy the game consistently was - and let's be honest, I was playing on very dated hardware, and they pushed the system to its absolute limit.

    Fast forward to now - THIS is the way GTA was supposed to look, feel, and play. Every single annoyance I had with the console version is gone. The game is smooth as butter, textures are crisp, graphic effects add to the ambiance, and the city just feels alive! This is everything I wanted GTA to be, finally realized on my preferred gaming system.

    Rockstar has perfected the gameplay - with the addition of first person mode, it feels like a well-executed blend of racing game and shooter. I am looking forward to putting even more time into this version, as replaying the story feels so refreshing - the opening scene of the game was the closest to photo-realistic that I've seen yet. Such a perfect world to play around in - I can't wait to get off work to play again!    … Expand

    The long awaited bomb is here. GTA V is really a bomb. It's outstanding optimization, pretty graphics and thrilling missions impressed me like never before. Today it's the second most played game on Steam, congrats!

    A very good game! I didn't have the option of downloading it until I got home from vacation, so I missed out on any server overload issues some users have mentioned. For me the game has run flawlessly, on my aging gaming rig. I run a i7 930@3GHz, 6gig ram, and a Radeon 7970 3GB card. Because of space restrictions I couldn't fit it on any of my SSD's, so this installed on my 750gb, 4 yearA very good game! I didn't have the option of downloading it until I got home from vacation, so I missed out on any server overload issues some users have mentioned. For me the game has run flawlessly, on my aging gaming rig. I run a i7 930@3GHz, 6gig ram, and a Radeon 7970 3GB card. Because of space restrictions I couldn't fit it on any of my SSD's, so this installed on my 750gb, 4 year old school Samsung drive.

    I am frankly quite astonished that the game runs perfectly smooth, with everything maxed out. It looks really pretty, and quite honestly much better than any console version I have seen.

    There was a small issue with the game crashing at one certain part of the map, but since I am not a moron, I understood this had to do with a corruption issue of one of the *.rpf files. I verified my game cache through steam, and it found two files which needed to be reacquired. After this, the game has run flawlessly.

    My gaming experience has been wonderful, and I really enjoyed the story. Now what I have left to do, is larking about, causing havoc. :-D    … Expand

    Oh and please remember that this is NOT a port. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up entirely for PC. I think it was worth the wait, I'm sure GTA    I have played for about 15 hours of the campaign, absolutey great so far.     Best game ever for sure. Great graphics, physics and gameplay. Big variety of online modes. Some issues with steam preload and instalation at day 1 is no reason to give it low score. This game is perfect. You can do here anything you want.
    No doubt, it worth 50 bucks I payd.

    This game is one of the few who deserve the highest. Those Negative comments MAY bring the user score down and give new gamers a wrong picture, but the metascore will be unbiased. I have no regrets buying this game. Enjoy

Really awesome experience to play and worth buying. Nice game story + online gameplay. Has enough features for a complete PC game. Just a drawback is its size i.e 62GB, R* should compress the size a bit more and make it 35-40GB. The system4K, 60 FPS, high graphics, first person. What else would anyone want in a game.     After all this waiting Gta V finally arrived one of the best open world games out there.

    This game is way beyond my expectations, it runs flawlessly on a not so good GPU. It even runs fine on Windows 10. I really enjoy the story even though I've played the game on Potato Station 3. Everyone should get into that story because it's funny, well written and the whole San Andreas looks great!

    There is so many ways to play this game, you can be a head hunter a completionist ( missions) a racer. You step out of your apartment in a highly populated area you'll end up in a urban warzone this is a must get PC game. With the hope of mods on the horizon, I don't see a reason why a gamer wouldn't want in on this experience. Oh its rated M for mature for a reason nutjobs.

    The game is good without a doubt: an open world, a lot of fun, you can continue list. In short, this game is the same as the previous GTAs, only better. But if to be objective, if Trevor wasn't in the exellent performance of Steven Ogg, the game would have lost 95% of its coolness and fun. Trevor that is Grand Theft Auto V.

Went to pick up Michael and Trevor in my Purple, slammed Peyote. Went back for payback . Came through screaming, "Ballas N!*$!@$". Battle ensued. Became a three way orgy with LS PD.     Game seems well optimized and looks stunning running at 2550x1440. On a GTX 970 I'm getting between 45-60+ fps with most settings except AA maxed. The amount of options that they've thrown into the menus makes it obvious that a lot of work went into porting this game. I purchased through Steam so I had none of the issues with Rockstar's downloader.

It is easy to tell that they have spent the time optimized the game extremely well and you can feel that it is not a console-port but developed for PC. Even if you have older hardware you should be able to run this well.     GTA on line works first time, logged in booted up. and there i was my xbox one caricature standing in my apparent with all the cars i had already purchased from previous time spent with gta. my blue and white trim zentorno ready to take the streets by storm,

    you can scale this game all the way down to 360 quality and all the way up to beyond what the average machine can handle on a single card at least, still i am still running the GTX titan with everything on ultra at 30fps
    just knocking a very small selection of settings down i gained 15 frames one more tweak and i was running at a locked 60 with no stutters issues or anything

    Well done R* you manage to make an great game better each time you re release it,,

    1. Most players that have a beefy enough system to play this game well, have good internet as well. I do, so no complaints on large patches from me.

    2. I torrented the pre-load. That caused all my issues. Deleting it, and verifying the actual steam files fixed all my issues.

    3. My system:

    Amd FX-8320e 3.2ghz octacore
    12gb ram
    Nvidia msi 750 2gb edition

    I have all settings set to high, all density settings on max.

    I am still getting 55fps to 60fps and i am blown away by it. On high, it looks better than current gen, and i honestly have no clue how. Rockstar said they were polishing, and defying all odds, i'm forced to believe them.

    4. People online are **** Lol.

    5. My final point, is the 9 im giving this.
    I like the game. Love it, even. I'm level seven and have 100's of hours to go.
    The game is beautiful, and i am very much enjoying it. However, rockstar loses a point for taking so long. It took 5 years to make gta 5, and the pc version should have at least hit with current gen. That it didnt, is a huge disappointment.

    In closing, if your system isnt **** if you have an average internet connection, than this game is completely worth it.    … Expand

    - it seems like the driving is a bit more "arcade" style that it was in IV.
    - It seems like the city is not "giving over" that great feeling like it was in IV.
    - And it does not feel in the beginning that I would "fell in love" with the characters..

    But I have to say that I just started, so I believe it will get better. : ) The game looks great and runs great on my 1 year old gaming pc. I cant wait to get back to Los ****** Santos!!! : ) I recomend this one. 8+ and hopefully later I can say that 10 is the score.    … Expand

    The loading times. They are quite lengthy and every time you change "instance", you must sit through one for a while.     I love the freedom of choice that comes with GTA. The unsolved jetpack mystery was a nice touch too. I would love to see the engine behind the game improve to allow more destruction of the world (voxels).

    Proberbly the best game i have never played, sure there are some hickups and glithes , but compare the minor inperfections to the massive scale that this game is on and furthermore that it is a 2013 game being capable of compiting and in my humple opion beat the best games of 2015 so far. i havent had such a pleasent surprice and fun since Farcry 3

    This game is amazing, the graphics look stunning and the missions are lots of fun, this is probably 1 of the best games I've seen in a while, I can't judge for the multiplayer yet since I have only played singleplayer so far. But even though the game experience is great I'll rate it 8/10 due to the problems I've had with installing this game. I bought this game the very same day it got released and spent the whole day downloading it with a horrible speed due to Rockstar's slow servers, which is forgivable since the game is great. But I wasn't able to play for the past few days due to corrupt data and was forced to re-install the whole game because Social Club doesn't verify the files, this is a big disappointment thus I'm giving this a 8/10 rating, great game nonetheless!… Expand

    I have played GTA 5 every year at least once since 2015 when it came out and i'm still not bored of it. Rockstar really did something right with this one. I'm so hyped for GTA 6.

    Still can't download the 5GB patch due to constant server disconnections. I'm glad that people on torrent sites are able to play it though, DRM at it's finest.

    GTA V has an immensely enjoyable and lengthy single player story that never slows down and each mission feels new. It is easily one of the best single player experiences I've ever had. As for online, it is worth playing, however it is still massively flawed and often frustrating. I would not pay full price solely for online, but if you have not played the single player, it is completely worth it.

    I had to come here to say this is one of the best games I've ever played in my 41 year old life.
    It's almost like having a second life when I play this.
    To play a game of golf inside this game with so much attention to detail was impressive. The dialogues are great. Graphics amazing.     This game is amazing , trolling , random killing and making everything explode is just amazing, main story line is great , online is one of the best fun ever amazing graphics,....... you can talk ages about this game
    I can't believe I bought this game in 2017 instead of 2014 since the price almost doesn't drop , but its still worth every euro

    Incredibly cool game. In addition to the main plot and many small side-quests, you can play it literally forever by imagining yourself an activity in the vast expanses of a very beautiful gaming city. Modern graphics of this time gave us the soul of the old famous Vice City in a new wrapper. In a very beautiful wrapper, which, like the old city, outplay all its zones at 100%.

    What can i say, if you draw gun to pedestrians they will run away and they can also call police. Police is smart also, if you wound policeman other will take him to the cover. 10/10

    Story mode is Fantastic. there are 5 Bank/Big robberies and you can made your own choice like how will be heist be Stealth or Loud, choosing heist members, and etc. 10/10

    Bought this game at the time of release. And then bought it again at the time of release on the PC.

    That's all you need to know about this game. So if you haven't played it yet in 2019, be sure to give it a try. And don't forget to bring your friends with you.

    If you hadn’t had a chance to play it yet at all though, and your computer can handle it, the PC version does definitely feel like the definitive version.

    We could not expect a better PC port PC for Grand Theft Auto V. Rockstar North, offers right from day one a huge game in optimized, widely scalable, and high impact graphics and the video editor, although not so easy to use, is an enjoyable addition.
